Art!! This is a redraw of a piece I did for @afrothunderxx96 about 4 years ago! I recently just got back into Jsab, so why not bring an old beauty to some new light?

all i can think about is see you and the implications of it. "after midnight you still want me around" and after midnight being the last major song the band released before tom left again, the band not knowing if blink was ever going to be the same, if their friendship would ever recover, if blink would ever be blink again, and then, mark sings "and i'm always down," saying no, no of course i'd let you back in, of course i love you, of course blink will be blink, "don't let us be over, i'll be here forever," and travis always knowing tom would come back eventually, "don't let words stay silent, love so strong we hide it," and tom immediately reaching out to mark and checking in on him every single day after finding out about his cancer diagnosis (because he wanted mark to have a "north star"), "the fights that wouldn't break us, no strength left to contain us," and the constant fighting throughout the making of untitled, the miscommunication and distance throughout the making of neighborhoods, the way blink always comes back regardless of whatever they did or said to each other because despite it all, they will always be brothers, tom singing "i'm here to lift you off the ground," and mark singing back, once again, "cause i'm always down," and mark saying tom was so supportive and positive throughout his chemo journey that it was almost exhausting, the bridge coming in with "cause i'll just keep fucking up, crawling back in the dead of night," because blink always comes back, "i'm born again in the morning light," because the essence of one more time, at its core, is the realization that our time on this earth isn't so long and that it shouldn't take tragedy for us to realize that, that love comes first, that embracing our differences and shortcomings ends with the strongest relationships, ending the song with tom singing "i'll see you anyway," because no matter what, making music or not, blink-182 will always be. blink-182 forever.
