My dad sent me this photo out of nowhere
#one of the things i'm most acutely grateful for in life#is that my parents were thrilled to be parents and it showed#on a side note that zebra pillowcase was my dad's specifically#like it was part of a full bedding set but when the sheets got changed that pillowcase did Not#i mean it got washed. but then put right back on regardless of what was on the rest of the bed#in retrospect one of the first examples i can remember of surrounding yourself with what sparks joy#you only have to let the soft animal of your body love that one zebra pillowcase with the ostrich that looks like a zebra mohawk#people#vintage#1980s#my own photos
