If only i could use the energy spent to create 20 kon doodles to sit down and concentrate on a single finished full piece I used to be able to make like 5 page comics what happened to me

Day 1 of self-exile vs 5000+ Years of self-exile.

When I first learned about the existance of Maglor, it was about him wandering aimlessly on the shores of Middle-Earth for thousands of years avoiding civilisation and singing beautiful laments because he is sad. Also that he was once known as the best minstrel in Valinor.

So I immediately imagined him to look a lot like Orpheus from Hades, and that's how that design up there was born.

im on a train and really fucking tired but i would just like to say writing on tumblr isnt that deep.

like yes we put our time and effort into our writing and want for it to be well-received by our followers and everyone who comes across it in general, but at the end of the day tumblr is just a little app that has no place in the bigger part of our lives. we have our own jobs, education, lives to worry about, as well as a multitude of incidents that occur everyday, and spending this time actively sending out false accusations, spreading unwarranted hate, using literal real world tragedies as a comparison for something as insignificant as tumblr jealousy…

u know what we call this? being chronically online. and i hope to whoever does this in their apparently free life gets well soon and realises there are much bigger, more prevalent issues at hand than their urge to be immature.

great now everyone is mad at me for pulling out of a project (that everyone was doing for fun like there is no money at stake) even though i explained that i was struggling with my depression and it was becoming impossible for me to do all of this and still (sort of) take care of myself. everyone acted like they were understanding when i told them but now my friends are saying a few people have been talking shit about me behind my back, and one person won't even talk to me anymore. and btw i made sure they could find someone to replace me before pulling out officially so it's not even like it was too inconvenient. like yeah there was a bit of moving around but they can still do the project. and like it's hard enough having depression, i don't need people being mad at me for it. i've given years of my life (for free) to these people, i think i've earned, at the very least, their respect when i say i can't do it anymore.
