so I watched the Una episodes of discovery with no other context. So it’s just the episode where they find the sphere and the last two episodes of season two.

they really go buckwild on this ship. Tilly is being eaten by fungus and no one tells anyone. Jett and the mushroom man get high and slap each other out of it. Also did Jett appear from the vents? Michael is having a family crisis. Saru asked his friend to help him commit ritual suicide and I think a part of his brain fell out. Also I didn’t know he spoke so many languages so that was cool.

they are so dramatic here. The shocked and horrified stares around at each other made the finale an hour long otherwise it would have been like 30 minutes. I expect this from Chris but good grief. The letters goodbye one bye one? Sarek and Amanda somehow showing up ahead of a whole fleet to tell Michael they love her? The sibling fight as the ship is being fired upon? (that one tracks actually) I like it for the big moments but are they always like this?? And is the “eyes up” thing a thing and why doesn’t Chris do it anymore?

I do like the found familyness I am sensing. The whole fam banding together to go with Michael was sweet. And their goodbye to Chris. This is the level of found family where I’d expect to find at least a few of those foster kid fanfics where they refuse to leave each other and the foster parents get six kids at once. I have not looked but I would be disappointed if there aren’t any.

Pike’s stepdad energy is so strong. The whole crew does what they want and loop him in when they feel like it. They are fine without him and have their own system and dynamics going on. He knows it, too, which is hilarious to watch from just knowing him from snw. He really just intervenes to keep his genius stepchildren from straying too far off the mission. They are running around like overexcited puppies (“the sphere is trying to communicate!!!!”) and he keeps them from gnawing on the walls. But he is a good stepdad in that he is ready to throw hands and use his ship as a shield so they can get away from section 31.

then as soon as he gets back to enterprise he brings all of the evil fbi apparently. Una is not surprised and has tricked out the whole ship and the shuttles for battle without prompt. She went Chris was out of my sight for too long we need to be ready to fight the galaxy.

and some more Una notes: Katrina Cornwell seemed tall and commanding until she stood next to Una and it was hilarious how small she was. Took me out of the dramatic bomb defusing moment but I still had fun. And Chris knew someone was going to die from that torpedo and got Una out as soon as he knew there were no other options. My pikeuna heart.

And Una choosing violence with the interrogation sent me. SNW fans know she has been hiding and afraid of scrutiny her whole life, and this is how she shows it. What a woman. She did not even tell them her name. Did we know she was Una at this point or was she Number One all the way until snw premiered?

“Follow the queen.” *Chris immediately looks at Una* I see you Chris.

it is obvious that they did not know how they were going to open snw with Chris being depressed and Una going missing but I liked their shock and happiness when Spock showed up beardless.

idk if I am intrigued enough to watch this whole show but I like Georgiou being their personal annoying gremlin. “Everybody hates you. Congratulations.” Also queen Po going if I die I die.

did not like Una going “in English please” to literally another navigator. We know she’s a genius let her be one y’all. If it were a science person going off a thousand words a minute I would allow it. But Una was talking to a pilot. Do better.

IN GENERAL, a good time. I was there for Una and she was not there much, but that was expected I guess. I was not prepared for how emotional discovery's crew would be. They are all in their feelings at all times. I liked them as a crew and maybe I will return one day.

It’s been a few weeks since Kat saved her and Ro is finally, finally sure of herself enough to challenge her on things. They have both been restless and they both know they need to burn off the energy safely. It’s not completely clear who starts the teasing. Kat pounces, of course, living up to her name but Ro is swifter, side-stepping and almost, almost catching Kat’s wrist, the light-hearted battle of wits continues, pushing them through rooms and corridors until finally, finally, finally, Kat is pinned against a wall, Ro’s arm across her throat, both women rasping for breath before Ro rasps out the same Bajoran curse she had before admitting she was falling for Kat, then finally captures her lips with her own, releasing Kat’s throat to pull her arms up over her head, keeping her pinned their almost lazily, smirking when Kat groans into the kiss when she pushes her knee between her legs, she’s almost sure she’s won when Kat finally flips them, pulling free and catching Ro’s wrists in her hands, guiding them over her shoulders and letting the kiss deepen, her own thigh pressed between Ro’s as they lose themselves in feelings. Later Ro would admit she hadn’t ever really considered love, not like this, but she has nothing but love and need for Kat, she’s almost shy with the revelation, treated to Kat’s sweetest smile, soft, loving, caring, and a sweeter kiss, light, sweet, still possessive. “We have nothing but time Laren… there’s no rush.” “Kat…” Ro’s protest is cut off with another kiss. “Take your time Laren, I’m not going anywhere and I won’t rush this…” “Keep saying things like that I’m not entirely sure I’ll be able to control myself around you…” Ro’s words are teasing but she tangles a hand into Kat’s hair and kisses her firmly but gently, nipping her lower lip just enough to drag a growl from Kat. “Keep biting I can’t promise I won’t take you right here…” “That’s rather the point Kitten.” Ro’s smirk is soft and Kat growls again, catching her lips lightly again. “Naughty girl…”

“Carewyn!” She turned around, her ginger hair flourishing behind her as if in slow motion. A man had just leapt off the back of a carriage he’d been hanging off of without the driver’s knowledge and was now running toward her. Carewyn squinted, taking in his unfamiliar dark ponytail and sailor’s clothes – then, within seconds, she recognized the handsomely smiling, bearded face and his shining, galaxy-like eyes. “Orion?” she breathed. Her heart seemed to seize up, as if it were being squeezed in someone’s hand and yet being given wings at the exact same time. Then she threw herself into a run, and it slammed against her rib cage, as she ran to him, flat-out ignoring how her knees kept getting caught in her hoops and her heeled shoes pinched her feet. “Orion – ORION!” She just about tripped into his arms. Orion caught her and swooped down on her, burying his face in her hair. “Carewyn…” he murmured against her neck. “Orion,” said Carewyn. Her voice was strained with the effort of trying to contain her joy. It felt like she was being stretched at the seams and probably could’ve exploded from all the intense emotions beating at the edges of her heart.

D'aww...don't we all love happy endings? 🥹 I absolutely loved doing this "take two" on my POTC babies' final looks --

-- though I set this moment a bit earlier than the original sketch, since I wanted to experiment more with angles and I felt more confident in depicting a more full embrace. (It's times like this where I really am happy I spent so much time during the pandemic actively practicing my art -- however painfully conscious as I am that I'm still a complete amateur when it comes to art and however much I'll probably always pick apart everything I've ever created and will create, I can't help but feel proud, seeing how far I've come. I mean, that original sketch is from December 23, 2020! That's really just over four years!!) And it also has been so fun revisiting this AU that I had so much fun putting together with so many other creators and will probably always have a soft spot for, both considering how big the project got and how much it tapped into my utter adoration for both the Pirates of the Caribbean films and the historical Golden Age of Piracy overall.

Mano, vou ser bem sincera, ainda nada aconteceu. Vi muita gente comentando que a festa tá chata inclusive, e eu vou ter que concordar. Galerinha, bora agitar esse rolê! Massss, por mais que ainda nada tenha acontecido (é sério gente, to quase ignorando vocês pra assistir os novos episódios de Gossip Girl), tem algumas coisas que estão para acontecer e eu vou contar pra que fiquem todes atentes.

Vamos começar pelo Tommaso, que é o único que realmente tá entregando entretenimento aqui (pro resto de vocês, observem e aprendam). Ele já começou puxando assunto logo com a ex, Strass, que até aceitou o papinho dele por um tempinho, mas agora já mandou logo a real e botou ele contra a parede (vamos galera, mulheres!). Se o papo vai acabar em briga ou em um remember eu não sei, mas contato que dê em alguma coisa eu já saio feliz. Só que não é só na ex namorada que ele foi dar idéia não! O que será que a Strass ia pensar se soubesse que ele já foi dar idéia na menina nova? É isso mesmo que você ouviram, nosso menino não perde tempo e foi logo dar em cima da recém-chegada, Danbi! E a novata, que pra mim parecia ser meio mosquinha morta foi respondendo a altura, então eu acho que eu tava errada? Espero que sim, já que não é qualquer novato que aparece aqui no meu blog logo na primeira noite, vou ficar atenta nessa garota! Além disso, eu acho que ele deu em cima do Jude também? Eu não espalho fake news, viu galera, então vou mandar a real pra vocês, talvez ele estivesse flertando, talvez ele estivesse brincando, é um pouco difícil de saber quando o Tom tá falando sério, acho que é só o jeitinho dele. Porém, não é só de pegação que se faz uma boa festa, e o Tommaso parece que sabe disso muito bem, porque também foi arrumar uma briga com o Angelo. Por que? Gente, eu não faço idéia, sério! O Candidato Padre tava lá no canto dele e eu to de prova! Foi do nada que o Tom começou a xingar ele! Só sei que eu já coloquei a pipoca na panela pra acompanhar essa treta! Ó padre Angelo, ouça minhas preces... se eles não acabarem se pegando no tapa, que se peguem no beijo. Amém!

Okay, chega de Tommaso por enquanto, risco de egos explodirem.

Pode ter sido só impressão, mas eu to achando que tá pintando um clima entre o Tyler e a Morgana... Pelo menos por parte dele, que ficou todo besta quando viu ela hoje. Mas assim, casal vanilla costuma demorar um pouco pra realmente acontecer né gente, então eu não conto com algo rolando essa noite, mas o ano acabou de começar e eu com certeza vou ficar de olho nesses dois!

Vi também, com esses dois olhinhos aqui, a Katrina querendo dar uma chupadinha na Suzy! Calma gente, no sentido vampiresco da coisa, mas quem sabe as coisas não esquentam, não é? Afinal, a troca de fluídos já tá rolando!

E olha gente, não se acostumem comigo bancando o tinder não que meu foco aqui é fofoca mesmo, mas eu bem ouvi o Damon falando pro Jude que quer levar alguém pra cama hoje! Alguém se voluntaria?

O primeiro vexame da festa já aconteceu também, ai gente, eu to rindo só de lembrar. A pobi da Sisi achou que só o Ben tinha visto, mas eu vi também ela tropeçar e cair do salto, vocês tinham que ter visto a cena! Eu até fiquei com uma dózinha quando ela começou a chorar, mas acabou que só deixou a cena mais hilária!

Enfim, é isso que aconteceu até agora. Bora beber mais gente, quero ver o caos sendo instaurado!
