pov you’re trying to track down accurate information on the phantom of the opera silent film
#there are three versions. no wait four. actually the fourth version is a bunch of snippets. one has voices and is lost forever#one is a reconstruction and another is a separate print with different angles and takes. they were shot simultaneously#some of them have an extra scene of a lantern guy at the beginning. no one knows why#supposedly the separate print DOES have it. but i saw what i thought was the separate print and no lantern guy#oh and the reconstruction does too. but only sometimes. god help me i'm in hell#misc
