Consistent clothing sizes: an utopia 😑
#about feyna#feyna speaks#clothing sizes#shopping for a dress for my sister's wedding has been a nightmare so far#I mean shopping is a nightmare in general#but another thing that drives me crazy is that I never know which size I should look/ask for lmao#and it was at physical shops#I have no idea of how people can shop online because nothing makes sense#oh and some brands very helpfully offer their sizes charts only as 'xs' 's' etc and their conversions in italian and uk sizes#which as the pictures above show means nothing#like yeah great your xs is a 38#but *which* 38?? I still don't know if it's going to fit or not with this info#(tbh I still wouldn't know bc my proportions aren't exactly like the 'regular' ones)#(especially the ones from the first chart)#(the second one is actually closer in terms of proportions)#(which is *another* clue pointing out how made-up these measures are)#(tbh I'd still probably have to try stuff on to see if it fits right)#but ANYWAY#a bit of consistency would be welcome
