#i used to find it ironic that the most loving bit of parenting thor ever got from odin was when he was actually loki #but it actually makes perfect sense #bc this is how loki saw their relationship #did it have problems? #abso-heckin-lutely #but loki had an entirely different perspective #he was the scorned son for over a thousand years #watching enviously as odin treated thor like the golden prince #constantly fighting for even a scrap of the love he thought odin gave to his brother #so when it came down to faking a one-on-one interaction between the two #loki acted like a better dad than odin ever really was
