Hardly! Write write write! The more practice you get, the better, even if you never publish them anywhere.

And it’s perfectly okay to write oc x gaara (just remember to stay as in-character as possible).

How many OC kids are too many? I have 4 OC babies, but I wanted to include the canon children that are already in the original story in my OCxGaara story thing. Should I get rid of some of my OC's??

I’d say don’t go over 5.

I mean...

So many personalities for you to think of! Gosh, kudos to you for having the imagination to think of 4 OC babies and their quirks/personalities!
