I'm not kinda person who enjoys horror games. Since I can't enjoy myself playing if I can't even progress because I'm bit coward in this topic. But then I'am fan of water and oceon in general. For example I loves Monster Hunter TRI games underwater combat gameplay. Since in water your enemy monster is obviuosly in advantage agains you. So idea about exploring oceon with no real weapons to kill large fishes easily sounded interesting but yeah also scary. Fear of the unknown is most powerful tool this game use to slow your progress. Starting area is very safe with no real danger. But since you don't know even that makes you get scared when you see even local whale who is not gonna attack you. Once you start get familiar with things and understand how they work you're able to progress until next unfamiliar thing pops up and you start become careful about how to progress. Darkness is also thing that tries hinder you. Of course you can use lamp to see, but do you really want to risk that local monster will spot you and gonna eat you? I still gonna play the sequel when I feel I'am ready for that. Also this game OST has same vibe as Metroid Prime games OST.

Yuvarında bir başına duran gözün, iki santim ötede, aynen kendisi gibi, kendisi kadar aç ve boş bir göz daha olduğundan haberi dahi yok.

Shinsekai - Into the Depth

I waited kinda long after I finally decided to get this gem. It's Metroidvania style game with bit of "Steamworld Dig" elements. Made by Capcom so I kinda know that it must be somewhat well made. It takes place in distant future where ice has covered the planet surface so humanity escaped in the oceon to continue live life in there. Our MC is lonely Aquanaut who's home get swallowed by ice and then they encounter mysterious drone who became your partner. Together you're going deeper in the oceon to unravel some mysteries. This game has one of mechanics that I really like cos it makes you living on the edge. Your oxygen is also your main way to move around fast. So you need to be careful how much you're gonna boost yourself. Power ups you get are mainly new type of harpoons that are pretty nice. Controls were good when you get used to them. You need to find rare minerals to upgrade your suit to able to take more water's pressure and get deeper in the oceon. There are also other minerals to get yourself smaller upgrades like more oxygen tanks. Overall pretty good Metroidvania. Propably gonna try time attack mode one day.
