Was tagged by the lovely @leopardmuffinxo to make ocs using this , I’m a big sucker for playing with making my OCs in picrews so this was fun! I have a mix of FFXIV, BG3 and DnD/Pathfinder OCs. Because why not right???
Starting with oldest OC: Charlotte (FFXIV) Did my best with the ears, since theres no real viera ears, so it’ll have to do xD (even tho she was a miqote when I first made her as viera wasn’t out for another good few years)
Tumblr media
Next is Astea, from a pathfinder game that I’m currently in right now. Love this little buttstabbing menace.
Tumblr media
Next is Evalina, she was from a Warhammer inspired pathfinder game. Sadly the game just kinda ended, but I just love her so she thrives in FFXIV actually
Tumblr media
And finally, Amelia, my little sweet BG3 OC.
Tumblr media
Again, thank you so much for the tag! I really appreciate it!
Tagging: @strongindependentblackwoman05 @dalish-spectre @queensbrother @quixqueen @ashensparrow @radicalbillie @gaspodewonderdog  and anyone else who wishes to do it. You don’t have to do it of course. Have fun!!

TW: Eating Disorder! Fear of food!
a new friendship
Yuna had returned from Russia, where she had spent the previous year treating her eating condition at a specialized clinic alongside Tala and the others. Yuna adored Tala's mother as if she were her own since she gently took her in. She was seeking for Kai since she wanted to surprise him with her return on this warm day in bey-city. Kai had anticipated Yuna's arrival as being a few days away, but she had already arrived. She passed the park where Kai actually practiced, and there she spotted a lovely woman sitting with long blue hair. Yuna took a little pause before speaking to the girl.
"Hey. Just one thing: Have you ever seen a man with blue streaks across his face and gray hair?"
Yuna caught the attention of the girl on the swing, who grinned.
"Kai, do you mean? There are a lot of fan females for him."
The girl began to giggle, and Yuna gave her a perplexed look.
"His girlfriend here I am. Greetings, I'm Yuna Granger."
She rushed up to approach Yuna as she stared at her with wide eyes.
"I apologize. The Yuna is you. About you, I've heard so much!"
The lovely woman with blue hair smiled and extended a hand.
"Evallina is my name. I was Kai's childhood pal."
Although she had heard of Evalina, Yuna actually hadn't had the opportunity to meet her until today.
"I watched Kai practice, and he's now grabbing something to eat. It's great to finally meet the girlfriend of my best friend."
Yuna said with a kind smile
/This beauty is evallina./
"Evie? To whom are you speaking?"
Behind Evalina, Kai could be heard announcing that he was holding two bowls of fries and ketchup. Evallina moved to the side.
"finally, your lovely girlfriend! I can't believe you never gave her my attention!"
Kai almost dropped the two bowls when he couldn't resist and forced them into Evallina's hands. He gave Yuna a firm hug. His excitement about Yuna's arrival was palpable. Kai embraced Yuna warmly in response.
"I was really missing you, Yuna."
"Kai, I too missed you a lot."
Evallina smiled at the two as they slowly released their hug because they were so delighted.
"I have fries; would you like something to eat from mine?"
You could tell that Yuna was considering it as she turned her attention to the fries. Kai could see that she continued to avoid eating certain foods even when she was in the clinic.
"If you don't want to, that's cool too. More delicious fries please! They are excellent."
Kai understood that he had persuaded Yuna with these insignificant details. She consented to share in his meal with him. In order to eat, Yuna, Kai, and Evallina searched for a bench.
"Tell me, where were you after the World Cup?"
Leaning slightly forward, Evallina peered past Kai. Evallina had a strong attraction to Yuna.
"I lived in Russia for a year since I attended a specialized clinic there."
She had already heard from Kai that Yuna had issues, but he never went into detail, so Evallina listened to her with interest.
"I'd like to know why you were there?"
"I had an eating disorder, but I'm better about it now. Even though I still have food phobias and have to watch my calorie intake, things are improving."
You could see Yuna was proud of herself. Kai was delighted to support Yuna despite having to bear a lot as a result of his pride in her.
"How are you feeling now?"
"Definitely, better!"
Together, the three of them consumed their fries. Yuna raved about them, which made Kai very happy.
"We need to head over to Tyson immediately. Has he heard that you returned?"
Though Tyson was unaware, Yuna was shaking her head. Once they had finished eating, they immediately set out. Evallina got along well with Yuna the entire time. Each of them believed that this would be the start of a beautiful friendship.
This little story is dedicated to the lovely @evallina, who I adore in your OC. I appreciate you allowing us to get to know one another.

The Alienist and the Soprano
Chapter 30: The Arrival
A/N: This was inspired by Laszlo’s love of opera and my thought on what if he fell for an opera singer. Multi chapter. Canon divergence, there is no Mary Palmer here (I loved Mary and Laszlo, so I don’t feel like I could have her here and have him be with another woman). A mix of show and book canons. No Y/N, OC named Evelina Lind, face claim is Phoebe Dynevor. I am sorry I am a day late, my computer was acting up and this week a a tad busy but in a good way. Guys, there is only one more chapter to go, I can’t believe it, can you?!
A03: https://archiveofourown.org/works/32029150/chapters/91669480
Pairing:  Laszlo Kreizler x Fem OC!
Summary: The last thing Laszlo Kreizler ever expected while investigating the death of children was to fall in love, and with an opera singer no less!
Warnings: Age gap, talks about complications, seggsy prego times, brief angst, but much fluff!
Tumblr media
Sara nudged John and carefully they looked over at Laszlo and Stevie, but in particularly Laszlo, who looked like a lovesick boy watching Evelina, as she gave a heartfelt aria for the final show. To the unaware, Evelina looked just as she did when she returned from her honeymoon, thanks to the expertise of Mrs. Vidal, as well as timing, since Evelina was only really started to show. The seasons subtly changed from warm August to cool September, time seemed to have flown as Laszlo watched as Evelina’s belly subtly grow, and it really started to sink into everyone that this was really happening. He spent every day worrying that something would go wrong during her run, and he attended each performance in case he had to be there, and as they gave their final curtain call, Laszlo was able to breathe with ease.
Lucius and Marcus, who were never the biggest opera fans, had come to see her perform before taking time off, feeling they ought to support their friend who had always been there for them. Lucius wasn’t often emotional, but even he couldn’t stop himself from being choked up by the ending, which did amuse Stevie. Stevie came to see his mom, but to stop and see how Kat was doing. He was grateful that there was a place for her away from what she was in before, that there were people whose careful eye made sure no one would ever try to solicit from her again. Two months of sobriety had done wonders for her, and he liked to see her occupied, even if it meant not so much time to be spent with him, because it meant she was happy and safe. It didn’t escape Evelina’s eye when she was leaving, that Stevie popped in to give Kat a flower to congratulate her for her work, and the kiss he received on the cheek.
A nice quiet dinner at Delmonico’s was in order, in a private room with close friends. It wasn’t exactly a farewell party for Evelina, but rather a congratulatory party for a job well done and for the venture that will be had next. This was, of course, the perfect opportunity for John and Sara to ask Laszlo and Evelina a big and important job.
“It only makes sense,” Sara explained, “I was your maid of honor and John was Laszlo’s best man that now you two would carry that honor.”
“Matron of honor is more appropriate,” Evelina corrected, “Though I doubt anyone would mistake me for a maid with this belly,” she laughed, her hand resting on the more noticeable bump. “You won’t mind having a big ole’ lady wobbling ahead of you when you get married?”
“Not at all. And if anyone says a single word about it, I’ll be sure to disinvite them right then and there.”
“I worry I may not be quite as energetic or mobile as the months go on, you may want someone who will be able to keep up with the preparations and all that.”
“Evalina, I am not asking anyone to climb a mountain for my wedding, so I doubt that your mobility will be a concern. All the hard work is already being done by his grandmother, who I must admit, has been a tour de force that I never expected.”
“Oh, she’s loving this,” John added, his hand circling Sara’s waist, “After having your wedding at the house, she had been itching to through another one, but this one, she promises, will be a real showstopper. No offence to either of you,” John added.
“None taken,” Laszlo said, “It only makes sense, after all, you being the last of her relatives and the need to see you settled and happy is a pretty common feeling that any older family member would have given that they may pass away any time soon.”
“Laszlo!” Evelina gently chided, feeling the subject too inappropriate to mention. John looked to be mildly uncomfortable at the thought of losing her, but Sara had managed to keep it together, but they both knew Laszlo hadn’t said it to be cruel, it was just a fact. Laszlo realized his mistake and apologized, which John was quick to forgive, he just didn’t want to think about the day he’d lose her.
“Now,” Sara quickly jumped in, “If we could continue to copy you both, we’d want to have a little get together as we had for you both.”
“Perhaps we’ll start a trend,” Evelina joked, causing a chuckle between everyone, and the rest of the evening went on joyfully.
The wedding was in late October, cool crisp air that forced them from the garden wedding to the conservatory, with vibrant asters, soft pink camellias, bright yarrows. Evelina was now five months pregnant, and the curve of her belly was showing, but it was not distracting from the true focus of the day. Sara was just a picture of beauty in an ivory silk gown, long sleeved with lace around the cuffs and the surplice collar, orange blossom buds adorned around the shoulders and waist, cinched by a silk sash. John was the proudest man in the room, looking at her with wonder and delight.
It was a beautiful wedding, John’s grandmother truly outdid herself, and much to the surprise of no one, neither Hearst or Violet came even though they were invited, though it had to be said that Violet was very kind to have sent a wedding gift with a lovely note wishing the couple much joy and happiness. It was not bitter or mocking, and everyone had to agree that it was rather classy of Violet to have no harsh feelings, even if Hearst was none too pleased.
The events had reminded Laszlo and Evelina of their wedding and a whole flood of emotions came over them. Their baby would be born a few months shy of their first wedding anniversary, and so much had happened that it could hardly be believed, to Laszlo most of all. To have met the love of his life, nearly lose her twice, adopt a son, awaiting an arrival, and two of his dear friends now married. He owed it all to her really, his life would have taken a completely different turn if there was no Evelina, and he didn’t want to know that kind of life.
A week after the wedding, Stevie announced it was time to get the nursery ready.
Laszlo had made sure to be there when the decisions were made for the nursery, even if he couldn’t do much, he wanted to be a part of the process as much as he could. He bought whatever was needed, or wanted, from the crib to the littlest of booties, workers to put up the bright yellow wallpaper with white daisies and the bright wood furniture. Stevie watched over the proceedings when Laszlo or Evelina couldn’t and was quick to go back and fix whatever little thing he felt was wrong. No, no, the crib should be over here, otherwise the sun will be in the baby’s eyes, or put the changing table over there so it’s in no one’s way.
For Christmas, they were given so many wonderful gifts for the new arrival, toys, books, pacifiers and such, and it made Evelina eager to see Christmases where their child would open gifts from Santa, teaching them carols and Laszlo reading to a sleepy child before tucking them into bed. Yes, often she thought of happy things, but sometimes, as her body began to change, so did her moods.
Laszlo found Evelina crying as she laid in the bed wrapped in a towel. “My love, what’s wrong? Are you hurt?”
“No,” she sobbed, “You’ll think it’s silly.”
“What is?”
She sat up, the towel secured around her as she admitted, “I’m so big, I think I’ll always be this big and you’ll not want me anymore. I’ll be haggard, flabby and worn out, and you’ll stop wanting me.”
Laszlo sighed, grateful that nothing physical happened to her, but he understood what the physical and mental toll was happening while with child. “Evelina, there is no possible way that I would ever stop loving you or desiring you. You are the most beautiful, wonderful woman I know, and it won’t matter what changes your body goes through, you will always be my Evelina. And you are beautiful, so beautiful.”
“Even like this?” she asked, wiping her eyes.
“Even like this,” he whispered, leaning in to kiss her. There was plenty of articles that have said that intercourse during a woman’s pregnancy was not only fatal to the child, but also a sin, but Laszlo had thought it all foolish. There had been no scientific proof that such a thing could truly harm a child, as long as the couple were in a position best suited for the mother, or that it was sinful to make love to your wife in this condition, to show that she is and always will be beautiful. And one had to think of the mother, if there are certain urges she may have, they shouldn’t be ignored. Happy wife happy life, as they say.
He tugged on the towel, letting it slip from her, his hands gently running over the curves, kissing her all over, and her concerns, her insecurities melted away under his touch, and even though she was uncertain at first or that they had to work around to find the right position, they made love and it had been just as it was before, beautiful, and incredible. “Believe me now?” he asked breathlessly, lying beside her.
“Oh, yes,” she cooed, looking over at him. “But I am not sure, show me again?”
It was a month away when Evelina started to feel physically uncomfortable, her back aching, her feet swelling and having trouble to do basic tasks, such as getting up from the couch or putting on slippers. Stevie and Laszlo helped as much as they could, but it didn’t stop her from feeling useless. “I can’t wait until you get here,” she spoke to her belly, “So I can hold you properly and do normal everyday tasks once more.”
“You do know you’ll have to be on bed rest for a little while, right?” Laszlo asked, smiling at her comment.
“As long as I am able to see my feet again and not feel like I’ll topple over at any moment, I’ll be happy.”
Laszlo chuckled as he helped her into bed before slipping in beside her, his hand rubbing on the clothed belly, before pressing his ear and listened. “She sounds very strong today.”
“She?” Evelina laughed, “How could you be certain?”
“I just feel it, that and I suppose, just a wish fulfilment.”
She ran her hand through his hair, recalling a fear of his that any son of theirs would be unloved by him, that history would repeat itself. “Any child of ours will be loved by you, boy or girl. And they in turn will adore you. Just be yourself, and all will be well.”
Visits from Dr. Mallard had changed to being seen at home rather than the office, finding it easier for the mother to not be made to sit through a rocky carriage and wait uncomfortably. “Well, I have some good news, you could have the baby any day now,” she shared a few weeks later, packing up her belongings, “Your contractions may go on for as short as a few minutes or a few hours, but once water breaks from you, then we’ll know the baby is coming.”
“What if the water doesn’t break?” Laszlo asked.
“It will break eventually, but it may take a longer time. If the worst happens, then we’ll have to do surgery. But you are strong and healthy, I do not foresee any troubles. Rest well, eat and drink regularly and I’ll see you when it is time.”
She knew that her words were to prepare her, but Evelina couldn’t help but to start to worry something going wrong, that perhaps the baby won’t make it, or that she herself won’t make it either. She tried to suppress the concerns and calm herself, but Laszlo had found her in the through of a panic attack as she sobbed. “It has happened,” she sobbed, “Healthy women die from childbirth, healthy women give birth to dead children. What if that happens? I’m scared, I’m so scared!”
He pulled her close, one hand rubbing comforting circles on her back and the other running down her hair. “It won’t happen to you, I promise. Dr. Mallard is the best doctor for this, and I would empty my pockets to get you the best care. I would never let you suffer; I would never allow anything to happen to you or our child. I will take care of you, I promise this.”
He knew that there was always a possibility of something going wrong, that he could be wrong but he wouldn’t let her know this. For all the times she had been his rock through his own fears of fatherhood, he would now be her rock through this. He had faced evil in many forms, battled and triumphed when it seemed unlikely, and he would gladly charge head on towards whatever would dare to try and take her away from him. But he knew, just as he knew in his heart their strong child was a girl, that Evelina, who endured more than most people endure in a single lifetime, was a fighter and a survivor. It will be.
Sometime in early February when Evelina first felt the contractions. Through the day it had been mild, she hadn’t thought much of it, since it had felt like the other waves of aches, but she knew it was something more when a sharp pain woke her in the middle of the night. “Laszlo?” she spoke softly, at first, “Laszlo,” a little louder, until she took a pillow and whacked in him the face to wake him. “Laszlo, wake up!”
He woke startled and it a moment to catch his bearings, then was wide awake when he saw Evelina sitting up, her legs over the bed as she was breathing heavily. “Evelina? Is this it?”
“I think so,” she breathed out, feeling a sharp pain. “You should get Dr. Mallard.” She felt a pressure be let out from her and suddenly her legs were wet, the pair staring at the water stain on her nightgown. “Oh, yes,” she sighs, “You will definitely need to get Dr. Mallard.”
Laszlo was out of the bed and put on pants, calling the doctor. Stevie heard the commotion and came running after him, wanting to know what he could do. “The doctor will be on her way, wait here until she comes and bring her right up.” Laszlo returned to Evelina, who had not moved from her spot and was breathing heavily. “Now, let’s get your legs up,” he murmured to himself, helping her to lay back against the pillows that he piled up against the headboard, and grabbed a basin of water and a cloth to try and cool her down. It felt like forever, but it had only been ten minutes before the doctor arrived.
“Pa! She’s here!” Stevie called from below before running up to open the door. Dr. Mallard, dressed in her suit, looking calm and ready, came right over and unpacked her bag. “How are you doing, Mrs. Kreizler?”
“Water broke ten minutes ago,” she groaned, “I’m feeling sharp pains every five minutes.” Evelina looked up and saw Stevie staring at her, his eyes wide in fear and shock, having never been this close to a childbirth. “Stevie, please go and check on the cats, I think I hear them meowing.” Stevie absent-mindedly nodded before closing the door behind him. Evelina looked up at Laszlo, who stared at her perplex, why is that important? “He needs to be distracted with something.”
Dr. Mallard felt around and concluded that it was safe to push, Evelina took his hand and begged Laszlo to not leave her. “I won’t, he promised,” and indeed, Laszlo was right beside her, holding her hand, pressing cool cloth on her forehead, whatever it was she needed. The sounds of her groans, the pained gasps and sobs hurt his heart, and he felt guilt for putting her through this.
“One more,” the doctor encouraged, “One more push, I promise.” She was doing so well, nothing seemed out of the ordinary and that was all Laszlo could hope for, except perhaps the sound of a baby crying. Evelina had felt an enormous pressure lifted and sighed, waiting to hear a baby crying, but nothing came.
“What’s wrong?” she asked, her voice heavy with anxiety. She sat up and saw the doctor holding the baby, covered in blood and fluid, but quiet. Why isn’t my baby crying, she wondered, and she thought for a moment, the baby’s face looked a little pale. Dr. Mallard went to work immediately to get air into the baby’s lungs, and it was the longest 30 seconds of their lives. Evelina clung to Laszlo, tears falling down her face, her words soft and fast, praying that their baby would make it. Laszlo held onto her, saying nothing, but thinking how he’d do anything if it meant the baby would be alright.
Just when they were ready to give up hope, the harsh cry of the baby cut the tension like a knife, and everyone breathed as well. The doctor smiled, sighing as she cleaned the baby. “Congratulations, it’s a girl.”
Taking the baby, Evelina couldn’t help but to smile and giggle like a fool, but she was so happy, their little girl was here and perfectly alright. Her cries turned to coos as she was wrapped in a warm, clean blanket and held close to her mother. “Oh, darling, she’s so beautiful.”
Laszlo stared at the baby in the wonder and felt the urge to cry. “She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.” He wiped his eyes and cleared his throat. “Dr. Mallard, is she alright? I mean, will there be any more problems like that?”
“No. This sort of thing happens sometimes, but once her lungs were cleared, she’ll be alright now. And just listen to her, she’ll have no problem breathing.” After she helped to clean up and check over Evelina, she began to pack his things and said, “I’ll be back in a few days to check on her, as well as yourself, Mrs. Kreizler. But for now, good night and congratulations.” With that, she left the new family alone.
Evelina reached over with her hand and wiped a tear away from his face. “You were right, darling, we would have girl.”
“It was more wishful thinking than knowing. She is perfect, and you were incredible. There is no way in hell a man could withstand half of what you had to go through. Women are incredible beings, my love.” A knock at the door came, and after they allowed the knocker in, and the teenager carefully peaked in, as if he was afraid of seeing bad news. He sighed when he saw Evelina, looking a little tired and sweaty but beautiful and happy, smiling as she held a bundle in her arms. “Come in, Stevie,” Laszlo beckoned, “Meet your sister.”
“Sister?” he asked in wondrous disbelief. Moving closer, he sat on the bed, looking down at the little tuff of light hair, prompting Evelina to move the blanket down to show more of her little face, pink and her eyes barely open. “She’s so wrinkly!” Stevie blurted out, and worried for a moment if that was the wrong thing to say, but relaxed when his parents laughed.
“Well, she was inside a stomach which is filled with fluids, so she’d be a little wrinkly. But it’ll go away in time,” Laszlo explained.
“She’s beautiful, though,” Stevie said.
“Yes,” Evelina said, “And she should be held by her father.” She looked to Laszlo, who was taken aback by the statement, trying to refuse. “She’s yours too, you should be able to hold her.”
“But, my arm,” he started, gesturing to his bad one.
“One good arm will be enough, my darling. Try.” She had Laszlo sit beside her and she showed him how and helped to get the baby girl into his arm, safely nestled in with no fuss.
He stared at her in shock. Of all the things he thought he could never do with his arm, he never thought for a million years he’d ever get to hold his own daughter. This was the feeling, this is what it was like to love someone beyond all measure, to love your child at first sight. It was beautiful, enlightening and powerful, and all at once, making Laszlo start to cry, a smile on his lips. This was what it felt like to be loved like this, to be a father.
Despite what most doctors would have recommended, Evelina welcomed John and Sara, eager to see the newest member of their team. They both were incredibly taken by her, already seeing much of her parents in her. “She’s beautiful,” John cooed, his finger brushing against the round cheek, “And look at that hair! I swear, you could put a hair ribbon through that thick mane.”
“The thickness comes from her father,” Evelina teased.
“Have you picked a name?” Sara asked, sitting on the bed beside Evelina.
“Yes. We had thought about it, and we decided to be a little sentimental with the name. Margaret.”
“A lovely name,” John replied, “but what makes it sentimental?”
“It’s based on the name of Marguerite, the role Evelina played and how we met again,” Laszlo said, his fingers grazing against Evelina’s cheek, making her lean into his touch. “The pearl of our lives,” he mused, holding his daughter close. Life couldn't have been better than this moment for Laszlo; his friends are with him, his adopted son adoring to his new sister and his wife, alive and healthy, looking at him with endless love and devotion. He was indeed the luckiest and happiest man in New York City, no one could dispute that, nor would they try.

Has braids on both sides framing her face. Has a tie dyed linen ribbon holding back half her hair. Mirabel also made little frogs and lily pads on her skirt and shirt. She wears beaded espadrilles. She has another description of what she wears and what colors in the beginning part of my Papa!Bruno x Mama!OC fic.

And when Sarge Will turns up dead, it’s all Cori can do to make sure that she doesn’t go down with a rapidly sinking ship.

Summary:  Life can be pretty tough when your sister is Kim Possible.  Especially when most  people hear your name, Em Possible, and hear “Impossible”.  Don’t misunderstand–Em loves her sister more than anything, but it’s a lot to live up to.  She’s not special, she’s not cool, she’s not much of anything, other than Kim Possible’s Sister.  But that doesn’t mean that she’s nothing–really, it doesn’t–and she’s sure that if someone took the time to look, they’d find something in her too.

I am actually so proud of these two pieces - everybody meet my newest tief!
Eva is a self-described "Circus Rat" and my absolute darling.
You may have seen her before, and that's because she originated in a more traditional dnd campaign - I've given her a bit of a revamp!

i feel like mateo doesnt get enough love in this blog so im asking for mateo in the oc emoji asks!
🙈💧❤️📎
You're absolutely right anon, we ain't getting much Mateo Alcantara love in this blog >:(( But it's understandable since the triplets have everyone's heart in a chokehold HAHAHAHAHA
Also Mateo is super proud of his little grandkids getting all the attention because he's just a sucker for them.
holy shit anon you're going for Mateo's neck on the first few emoji asks oh lord HAHAHAHAHAHA
🙈 - What's a side of your OC that they don't want to show other people?
Oh boy, Mateo doesn't want anyone to see how short of a temper he has. Contrary to what you might believe, Mateo has a really short fuse. That guy can sucker punch a dude with only one working arm just because someone would look at him funny, but he learned to control his temper because he doesn't want Evalina to see such an ugly side of him. His late mother always told him that his outbursts were similar to his father (who we know is an abusive bitch to both him and his mama) and that really gave him a slap in the face.
When he met Pedro for the first time when they were like ten or twelve, he learned to be more patient and compassionate. Pedro balances Mateo out like a charm, and his goofy tendencies led to Mateo learning restraint. When Alma came into the picture, Mateo's anger issues were lessened as well since that woman can give him a scolding of his life and he can't do anything about it because Pedro, who's like a brother to him, is smitten with this woman who likes to hit him with a chancla.
He learned to be more mellow and more accepting with what he has in life when Alejandra came into the picture. He doesn't want her to see his flaws while he was courting her, so Pedro made sure to teach him everything he needs to know to romance a gal (and that included him NOT going into bursts of impatient rage). But Alejandra still accepts him no matter what his little mood swings <3 He vowed to never hurt Eva like his father hurt him, so that also contributed to him repressing his anger prone side.
💧 - Random angst headcanon
Mateo would often go weeks without sleep as punishment for himself for not protecting Pedro when they ran away from their pursuers. He always blamed himself for how Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno grew up to be fatherless.
❤️ - Their love language(s)?
Definitely Quality Time and Words of Affirmation. Mateo never got any good quality time with his parents as a kid, so whenever someone (aka Alejandra) makes it a habit to dedicate a significant portion of their day for him, he'd be over the moon. He never really knew that he had Words of Affirmation as a love language, but when Alejandra started trying her best to write him little poems and written love letters (which she is terrible at, by the way), he'd cherish them like it was the most precious thing in the world.
📎 - a random fact.
Mateo likes to read...questionable literature. It's very well written, it's good, and it's literature...but it's questionable cough aka he likes to read erotica cough
