okay my personal obey me pact mark headcanons let’s go!!

Placement, size and other various things I can think up about them as I go :)

+ short thoughts on how the brothers would treat the marks if you were together.

General info on how I personally interpret the pact marks + what I think would be so cool about them:

I don’t think they’re always visible on your skin, at least not to humans without magic. And maybe the most you would be able to see on yourself (as the pact mark bearer) would be the faint outlines of them. They’d be clearly visible to demons and angels, and also faintly visible to witches and sorcerers like Solomon (and you could see his the same way).

When you actually use the pact on the brothers, the symbols would be clearly visible to you with black/brown-ish markings and they’d give off an aura that’s the colour of their respective demon (Lucifer’s would glow blue when used, Asmo’s pink, Belphie’s purple, etc).

They can either choose where to place them or just let them manifest naturally on your body, same with how big they’d want them to be. I have no idea what they would look like, but their symbols would definitely be in there somewhere. I don’t have a set way that I picture them in my mind tbh. I’ve seen some absolutely stunning art of other people’s interpretations though.

(please keep in mind that I’m only on lesson 23 currently, so if there’s something inconsistent with anything confirmed past that point I’m sorry! but I also did my research before writing this to make sure my ideas weren’t totally disproven by canon so I think it should be okay)

On to the brothers!!

Lucifer:

Listen. His would be placed on your neck. With all that talk when he first agreed to form one about you not owning him through the pact but it actually being the other way around??? Tell me he wouldn’t. It’s vulnerable, of course someone who (at least in the beginning) claims to hold all the power would place it there?? I don’t think it’d be huge, it’d be subtle on the left side of your neck but enough for it to make things clear to anyone who tries to mess with you (and by default him as well). Not tiny, but definitely not as big as some of his other brothers’. He’s smug about his choice of placement for sure. Gets mildly annoyed if you happen to cover it up but would never show it.

…if you guys are dating, he would definitely take the opportunity to kiss it affectionately when you’re having a soft moment together or trace his finger along it to get a reaction out of you. Tease.

Mammon:

I’m a sucker for him so his is obviously going to be placed over the heart. Whether he did it intentionally or not is a mystery to both of you (you both know). Obviously he makes a big deal about being your first demon, so I think he’d want his pact mark to be somewhat big. Not so big that it’s covering that entire side of your chest, but if you spread your hand over your heart, it’s roughly that size. If you wear low cut shirts or tank tops it’d peak out a bit. At first he thought the placement was embarrassing but now he appreciates it, whether you’re together or not.

…if you ARE dating him, though, he’s going to admire it and trace over it when you’re lying in bed together and talking before calling it a night. Since he didn’t explicitly choose its placement, you like to tease him by saying it must have been a subconscious decision to place it in such a tender spot. Kisses the centre of the mark every morning when you wake up together and every night before bed without fail.

Levi:

I thought about a few different things for Levi because his sin is envy, so he’d definitely want it somewhere obvious to prove that he has that connection with you. His Henry, his best friend, this human that (eventually) means the world to him!! but he’s also incredibly insecure so I think he’d automatically feel like he doesn’t deserve to take up much of your skin with his mark, so it’d be on the smaller side. He would’ve made it tiny but when he saw how big mammon’s was and how it was already over your heart, he impulsively placed it on the back of your dominant hand, (OR opposite to the sorcerer’s society mark which I JUST learned was a thing lol) leading a little bit up your wrist. Not as big as Mammon’s or even Beel’s. Bigger than what he intended and feels so guilty about it. Still the smallest of any of them. You have to reassure him. It’s in a very obvious place, no demon or angel would be able to miss it, and unless you wear gloves all the time, it would never be covered up for long.

…if you guys are together, he enjoys holding your hand and just admiring the mark. also enjoys seeing it when you play games together and will definitely lift it up and inspect it every so often. Likes to watch it glow orange when you use it.

Satan:

He would place it on your wrist. Specifically the wrist of the hand without levi’s mark. no real reason for it, he just thought it would look cool going from your wrist and up your forearm. One of the bigger ones of the seven to spite Lucifer (hey- even if his reasons for making the pact wasn’t lucifer related anymore, you can bet the size of it was, even if he formed one before the oldest).

...if you’re dating him, he leaves a series of kisses up your arm over the mark when you’re reading together in the library. will mindlessly trace over it when he’s particularly stressed or needs to calm himself down. it gets to a point where you just offer him your wrist when you see he’s getting irritated and it works about 70% of the time.

Asmo:

Collarbone. Would have gone for the neck but decided to let it manifest itself at the last second. He said something along the lines of “it will be what it will be- it’d look perfect anywhere, truly.” Believe it or not, it’s one of the smallest marks. Not so tiny that you can barely see it, but not large either. Likes the size of it because “you have to get up close and personal to really appreciate it.”

...if you’re together, he’ll constantly want you to show it off. he’ll also make sure the skin in that area is especially taken care of. when he’s lying his head on your chest, he’d always make sure to lie on the side of his mark.

Beel:

When he made his pact with you, he definitely wasn’t too concerned with the placement or size of it. He let it manifest naturally and chuckled a bit when he realized it appeared on your stomach. It was smaller than Mammon’s, and bigger than Levi’s but still pretty noticeable, especially if you like to wear crop tops.

...if you’re dating beel, he’ll definitely rub over it when you’re cuddling in his room, digesting after a meal. he’s definitely more reserved than some of his brothers, but I do think he’d like it when it’s visible. lays his head on it in his sleep sometimes, nuzzles into it for sure.

Belphie:

Belphie is too lazy to choose a placement himself, so he also lets it manifest naturally. His mark would be on your right rib cage, slightly higher than and opposite of Beel’s. The smallest of the marks, which he is unhappy about now but was indifferent to before. Is absolutely fascinated with the pretty purple glow it gives off when you use it.

...if you’re dating him, he sleeps attached to that side of your body, hugging it and also nuzzling into it (which he denies when you tease him about it).

Pact mark headcanons

Aka how i picture the brothers pact marks + their locations

I'm putting these ones more as tattoos, while I'm thinking the mark itself would be like a magic circle hidden within the tattoo

Lucifer

I think lucifers pact mark would appear in a peacock feather across your ribs, winding from near your armpit to the front bottom of your ribcage

I think the sigil containg the pact mark itself would be purple (his game color is red, but the color associated with the sin of pride is purple) and in the center eye of the feather (the yellow part)

Mammon

I think mammons has a couple location possibilities but, ultimately, would show up on your shoulder blade.

I think his would be a feather that has like ravens breaking off of it with his sigil being a yellow hidden in a ravens claws

Leviathan

I think leviathans mark would appear on your forearm, in the shape of a snake curled around it (possibly decorated with some flowers)

His pact mark would be green and hidden in one of the snakes eyes :)

Satan

I think satans would appear on the shoulder/upper arm on the opposite side of leviathans. For design i think it'd feature a wolf, in a full body design down your arm balancing a moon on its nose. The moon would be a crescent, but appear like a full moon at first glance because satanas sigil/circle is nestled inside it. Predictably his sigil is red.

Asmodeus

His would show up on your thigh, a scorpion nestled among flowers, the details spanning from your lower hip to mid thigh. His sigil would be in the center of a flower beside the scorpion in a dark pink or blue color.

Beel

I think his would show up on the front of your throat as a fly, rather small in design with his sigil in orange between its antenna.

Belphie

I think belphies would appear on the nape of your neck in a small design of a bear surrounded by stars. His sigil would be above the bear and look like a moon, in dark blue or a shade of purple.

the appearance of the brothers’ pact marks are rather simple. all of them are just the symbol of their respective sin, not even any text or circles around them. it’s surprising, as even the pact marks of lower demons have more flair.

but that’s the thing - there’s no need for it.

the level of intricacy of a demon’s pact mark is almost always a direct indication of their power level. it’s similar to a brightly colored wild animal - if you see someone bearing an elaborate pact mark, be wary of them. but this “rule” is applied to only a majority of demons.

not the brothers, however.

they are fallen angels, the literal avatars of the seven deadly sins. why waste time on detailed insignia when billions already know and fear them? for you to have their marks is a clear indication of your power, something others should be terrified of the moment they lay their eyes on the symbol of the sins.

warning signs should be direct, after all.

So I want to babble about somethin real quick: Why when designing or talking about Pact Marks for Obey Me, why are they always in small spots? Or like super simple? Why wouldn't they be more than that? (more below the line)

I have a WIP of me (attached below) with two distinct pacts; Satan's and Lucifer's (and Barb's on the neck). Please ignore how unfinished this is (and how weird the face is lmao)

Just hear me out for a minute: Y'all really think Lucifer, the avatar of PRIDE, would give you a small mark? I feel like he'd want it to be super obvious and visible, something you could show off. Satan would do the same, just to spite Lucifer. I feel like the pact marks would typically be something that, in the human world, could pass as tattoos (given they might be weird tats, like my Satan one for example). I also feel like the pact makers could change them. For example, we'll use the one I made for Satan again. I could see him changing the type of cat or the size of the dark ink--maybe even based on mood, in his case anyway.

This isn't just about those two though; you think that any of the seven lords would be okay with something small (okay maybe Beel/Belphie would be okay with it--and maybe Levi). I could see Mammon making some sort of elaborate raven design that has golden elements to it. Asmo would make sure it was something super pretty; something to reflect the Avatar of Lust's view of himself.

I know in the game that Diavolo and Barbatos don't have a pact with MC but I like the idea of having one with them. Dia would make it something formal; so his might be simple like the royal crest or something. Barbatos's mark would be small but decorative.

I dunno I just wanted to talk about it because I have seen so many posts about pact marks lately; which I love PLEASE don't take this as me hating on anyone. So, I wanted to talk about this. Please if you have any thoughts let me know! I'd love to hear them!! :)))

MC! Amber's Pact Mark Headcanons

A/N - Some of these headcanons were inspired by others such as @rainiishowers @beels-burger-babe and @kitsune-oji and a few more peeps

𝕄𝕒𝕞𝕞𝕠𝕟

Considering Mammon was assigned to be her protector, he instantly placed the mark on her upper back since even if he wasn't a huge fan of taking of her, he still had a soft spot for her despite not showing it much. The pact appears to be slightly smaller than a normal size. When pact energy is used, the pact glows yellow. One of the many perks of his pact is how she has the ability to walk and run faster than before considering Mammon is the fastest demon in all of Devildom. If she's late for RAD at least she has the ability to get there faster or Mammon can just pick her up and run as fast as the wind. At least Lucifer won't be mad at both them

𝕃𝕖𝕧𝕚𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕟

Leviathan at first wasn't exactly sure where to put his pact mark on her until she jokingly told her that he could put it on her collarbone, sending him into a flustered mess. She was about to tell him that she was joking but it was already on her collarbone, not that she was complaining. The pact appears to be slightly bigger compared to Mammon's so technically it's on a normal size. When pact energy is used, the pact glows orange. One of the many perks of his pact is how she is able to breathe underwater but sadly doesn't give her the ability to swim since she's not exactly the greatest swimmer and has a small fear of drowning. At least she has a sea demon on her side, looking out for her. Even though he's the main culprit that is pulling her down into the water with him, just to tease her

𝔹𝕖𝕖𝕝𝕫𝕖𝕓𝕦𝕓

Beelzebub's first reason to make a pact mark with her was of trust and how he started to see her as a part of the family. He thought a little bit on where he would put the pact mark. He finally decided to put it in the middle of her back, slightly below Mammon's to show that he too has her back. The pact mark is bigger compared to the rest of the brothers. When pact energy is used, the pact glows red. One of the many perks of his pact is how she is able to gain even more strength which will come in handy in some ways such as punching anyone who talks about somebody she is close to. Though sometimes Beel has to hold her back from doing something she might do to get herself in trouble. Another perk is having a good sense of smell as if she didn't have that already

𝔸𝕤𝕞𝕠𝕕𝕖𝕦𝕤

Asmodeus' reason for making a pact with her was out of respect for how she was able to use his demonic powers more potently than Solomon. Asmo would have have chosen a spot to place his pact mark but he let her decide on this one. She chose the side of her rib cage for the pact mark to be placed which he agreed on and placed it there. The pact mark is possibly the smallest out of the brothers but not so small that it can't be seen by the naked eye. When using pact energy, the pact glows a light shade of pink. One of the many perks of his pact is that she is able to stall anyone who is threatening them until somebody (aka one of the brothers) comes to her rescue and another one is being able to flirt better compared to how awkward she is at it and this was a bonus for Asmo in ways

𝕊𝕒𝕥𝕒𝕟

The first time Satan tried to make a pact with her by force and to get back at Lucifer but it was quickly denied, making him angry and nearly harming her but the second time he wanted to make a pact with her was for a whole other reason and a good one as well, possibly showing his gratitude. She let him choose where he wanted to make a pact mark and he chose the back of her right hand and one of the main reasons being how she knows to throw a good punch. The pact mark is the same size as Levi's but slightly smaller being able to fit the hand. When using pact energy, the pact glows green. One of the many perks of his pact is probably having being able to defend herself well and yeah a few scratches are gonna leave a demon scarred but it's a sign to not mess with her. Satan is definitely proud of himself for this

𝔹𝕖𝕝𝕡𝕙𝕖𝕘𝕠𝕣

Belphegor decided to make the pact with her to show that he won't lay a hand on her or harm her in anyway. Truth be known, Belphegor loved her but knowing he won't return his feelings, he didn't care. He just wanted her to make the pact with her, just for her to use it if he ever does something harsh. Belphie gave her the choice to choose where he would place the pact mark and she chose the upper thigh which he placed the mark with no question. The pact is the same size as Levi's but slightly bigger. When using pact energy, the pact glows purple. One of the many perks of his is being able to fall asleep when she is tired like she can tell herself to just shut off and rest. Another would be able to sneak up on someone pretty well since Belphie is pretty stealthy in question. Best ways to pull pranks on Lucifer

𝕃𝕦𝕔𝕚𝕗𝕖𝕣

Lucifer at first never wanted to make a pact with her but as the time went by, he became fond of her and happy that she brought his brothers back together. She didn't really want to make a pact with him at first either but she's grown used to him and her respect for him grew more so she agreed for the pact in the end and luckily Lucifer let her choose a spot. She chose her left arm and since this man is respectful of her, he placed it there with no question. The pact is the same size as Satan's much to the Avatar of Wrath's dismay. When using pact energy, the pact glows a deep blue color. One of the many perks of his pact is a confidence boost. Sure she may already be confident but if there's any doubt the pact will save her there. Lucifer can pretty much feel it if she's feeling proud or anything but that's just him being a proud mom

Personal "Obey Me!" AUs where I use OCs instead of my sona (there is an AU with my sona, but it's hardly used):

I use four OCs, so there's four AUs (though Kalem (and now more recently Toofy, tho it was for Nightbringer, so I didn't feel obligated to draw him in the RAD uniform) is the only one(s) I've actually drawn in OM so far), and I have doodled where their Pact Seals are on their persons ❤️

Since he's the default MC, Toofy gets to go first-

His seals are very simple, they just go down his spine in the brothers' order of rank.

Next, Kalem-

His seals appearing on the back of his torso, arranged (mostly) in the order that he got them- from up to down/left to right in a kind of zig-zag pattern.

Except for Lucifer's seal, cause he's ✨️special✨️ or whatever

Sassy gremlin Kitti is next-

His seals appearing on the front of his torso. They just go down in a vertical line, appearing in the order of the brothers' statuses.

And lastly is the gremlinesty gremline, Sofi/Usagi-

For OM, they are actually human and not a beastman. Only having the long fluffy ears and tail in the Devildom due to the summoning scrambling them a bit. It's considered ironic, given their nickname.

Their seals appear much the same way as Kitty's do. Only instead of running down their torso, they run down the outside of their left arm.

Pact Marks- Obey Me Thoughts/Headcannons

So in one of my recent posts, I showed where I imagine My MC- or Mackenzie's pacts marks are.

For those who are new or just unfamiliar with this topic somehow, Pact marks are what the fandom of Obey Me! Shall We Date?! has basically agreed all on being on each MC when they/he/she makes a pact with one of the demons. I dunno if the creators confirmed that as I am only in lesson 13-14 in the game itself.

Here are my headcannons/thoughts to just have on here✨

Lucifer

(Spoiler, hes the last one to get a pact mark from but not in the least undermining)

Where I imagine his pact mark would be on MC's chest.

Kinda like the phrase, 'Huffing up chest in pride', it shows his shamless pride in allowing the human to make a pact with him.

Considering how possessive Lucifer tends to be towards MC, in a "This is my human" way, his mark is the biggest, maybe even boldest as its even able to peak over MC's collar bones, making any non-turtle neck like shirt unable to cover it all.

It glows his signiture blue when activated, bright and unable to be unnoticed either.

And in the dark, a lingering lighter shade trails around the stars, giving a nice ring to the MorningStar name

With my MC, I imagine they aren't afraid to show it, most of their outfits being tank tops, low collar shirts, or even just a sports bra on some nights.

Lucifer sometimes catches MC trailing their finger along its edges, only to shirk their hand down as soon as he notices.

Of course...he smirks, raising a curious brow.

MC just ignores his glances and moves on.

Mammon

He was a an easy one, Ngl.

Look, I adore This little Greed demon with all my heart but he does tend to steal, and gamble, and basically do any money grubbing.

All with swift and talentful hands in his own craft.

His pact mark is on the hand, preferably dominant hand of MC.

Its not too big or too small, just fitting across the back of MC's hand.

When activated, it gives of a nice yellow hue, gold lining the mark's edges in a shifting manner.

My MC tried drawing weird symbols on top of it, human symbols that kids draw on their skin everyday y'know, just to see if anything changed.

It didn't. Just erased whatever they did and glowed like normal.

Mammon called her weird then proceeded to try his turn at it.

Now they needed new pens.

Mammon hated the mark at first, finding it stupid given how it even came to be in the first place.

Now he traces it every night with a curled up MC beside him, clutching onto him as if he isnt holding them tight enough.

Leviathan

He is tricky tricky boy, lemme tell ya.

Either his pact mark worked in spots his brothers' worked better in or it just didnt seem like Levi's spot.

So I figured, under bicep.

The guy is shy, right? So I believe his would ultimately end up somewhere where it's covered the majority of the time, that or just hard to see at most angles.

I did think of thigh, but i suppose the thought it ending up there would have this okaku blushing for days on end.

Which bicep also depends on which arm is MC's dominant one.

My MC, like all her other marks, is proud to have them, so they dont get why it was somewhere mostly hidden.

Hence why it gives them further reason to show it off during their shared movie nights, wearing more sleeveless shirts or tops.

Leviathan is her Lord of Shadows just as much as they are his Henry and they are proud to say it. (Enough without embarrassing the Envy demon of course)

Leviathan turned as flustered as a peach at first anytime he saw it fully, but now...

Now he laughs as MC 'proves' their muscles to him after an off comment he made, flexing off that mark of Envy without even realizing. He just snorts and shoves them lightly, a domino effect taking hold as they do it right back.

Beelzebub

Did I even need to think on this guy?

The tongue is wear his mark resides.

Not only for the obvious, Ahem Gluttony, but because the tongue is known to be the strongest muscle in the body.

It tends to blend in with the color of their tongue but mostly when its activated.

Oo, imagine MC eating a cherry flavored treat, the glow would just light the whole thing up. Light bulp idea if MC is ever in the dark and lost.

Ahem, anyway, as mentioned, it glows a fiery red, making MC's mouth looking like light up city when even just a little bit opened.

My MC had at one point thought her mouth was bleeding when she saw in it the mirror, had to have Beel explain they were indeed fine, if anything, looked cool.

Both her and Beel test out how bright it can get depeding on cherry flavored treats when gorging in food one night.

Beel cant help but blush at the sight of his unactivated mark as MC sucks their tongue out at him, having just won a victorious round. A game Levi lended them for a bit.

He hms, pats their head lightly, and mutters 'cute'. MC is left confused, their tongue still poking out in a blep.

Asmodeus

So...HAHA- So many people thought my MC's mark from Asmo was on their bottom.

While I would not be surprised, given this man, I headcannon their mark being a tramp stamp.

Right above their bottom.

Its not big, barely taking all over their lower back. But enough to give off a big enough glow when activated.

When activated, the pact will glow a saturated pink, a tease of purple easing into the 'ink.'

Ngl, I got this idea after reading another headcannon list of Obey Me Pact Marks and thought it was too good to not keep.

Its somewhat easy to hide, depending on the type of clothing MC wears, but it quickly becomes hard to cover ehen activated, the pink being too bright.

Asmo calls them his little firefly at some point

As for my MC, she gets flustered, never thinking a pact mark would be that low. But after catching a wink from Asmo, they turn gears and smirk instead, thankful for their wild and long hair hiding the pink in their ears as they clap back quick with some remark.

Asmo just chuckles at whatever she said.

Teasing hands, always playful but never pushing, linger down at the edge of MC's shirt only for it to turn into a tickle over his mark. MC squeaks out, laughter pulling over as they skirt away, clutching their lower back.

Asmo takes their playing shoves with a smug grin, gleaming with absolute delight as he catches one at last, landing a sweet kiss at their knuckles.

Satan

Similar to Lucifer

Satan would hate me I know it

But yes, dreadfully similar to Lucifer, Satan's mark is big and bold, appearing right under where Lucifer's(At the time he never knew that of course).

It lays across the lower ribs, that tip of it? Its lined up to go straight in between both, mark and center.

It is easy to hide, but if MC is one to wear short crop tops, or anyhting that shows close to the lower ribs as mentioned, it wouldnt be hard to miss.

Yet, the mark is impossible to miss when activated, unless you stacked like piles and piles on MC's torso, yeah..that green glow would be seen a mile away.

Its a bright, fiery green, almost oozing into their clothes like Wrath itself would.

Why is it on the ribs? Well, you know that feeling you get when you are angry. That fire in the pit of your chest? The only reason its on the ribs instead is because of how calculating Satan is.

"Imagine how an aggressor would feel if they suddenly saw its glow? They would've turned to rigor themselves without my help"

Are you sure you aint like Lucifer-

My MC played a game of, 'What Can Hide The Mark??' With their closet one day, just curiosity at best.

Yeah, they thought better of it when Satan came a-knocking very confused and very weirded out by the dark light green light game on his side.

Theres a weird, fizzy feeling Satan gets anytime he saw the mark in a more direct manner. Their shirt riding up as they slanted on the couch, at the beach, anywhere were he got less of a tease of it and more of a frontal view.

It wasnt made out of hate for his brother, it wasnt even a half-assed one either, it actually meant something, to both him and MC.

Hmm....Satan's eyes fliker back down, escaping MC's sudden gaze, a little heat on his cheeks going ignored in favor for catching up with this novel's protagonist.

So......I may or may not have accidentally put Belphie's mark on Mc's neck.....

BUT- BUT Then it gave me an idea!

So while we arent exactly sure the marks would be chosen by the brother's preference, or MC's preference, I think its just up to what the fans think-

What if it was kinda an accident itself?

Like obviously, at the time of the pact between the youngest brother and Mc was made, the events of Mc/not Mc's death was still fresh to everyone. Hence the whole, making a pact to protect Mc from Belphie.

And since it was still in everyones minds for a while, the mark accidentally formed in the one place everyone, including MC had a hard time looking at without getting chills.

It could be many possibilities from this, but it also can give MC enough motivation to work it out with Belphie, wanting to make the mark not one to look at in digust but instead at least a gentle fondness like the others. Obviously the last part might take a long while to come, but they would at least be able to ease the pain of it.

Anyhow- the mark is pretty dang small compared to the others. Small and barely noticable depending on how MC's hair style is.

When activated, it glows a nice lilac hue, the edges dipped in a very light, almost white color. It can almost be mistaken for a night light, like those ones for children, if it wasn't on MC's body.

If covered with a turtle neck for instance, its dimmed but not completely, still vying for attention.

I do believe MC would have at least some sort of trauma towards it, like cant have people touching around their neck for awhile. Even if Lucifer were to cup their chin, their nerves start a-ringing.

I like to imagine my MC doesn't necessarily get over it, but is able to move past it. Shes one to not let things affect them, but obviously with seeing yourself and feeling youself die is extremely hard to do for a human, so its more or less them just wanting to stop feeling so weak at the idea. So she asks Lucifer or Satan (the two most likely to understand it) in private to help her by gently edging their hands around her neck area sometimes so she can at the very least, emotionally move past it.

Exposure therapy( But this is for my MC, I definitely believe people have a right to decide how they/their characters wpuod respond to the whole thing as everyone seems to either forgive Belphie, take a long time to do so, or just want their character to avoid him)

It takes him a loose second to realize, but when he does, Belphie is quick to snatch away his hand from MC's upper torso. Hes hesitant to even toss it back around their waist. But MC, despite their sleepy and craving for warmth state, takes note of his sudden distance and tightens their grip around his shoulders, effectively dragging him snug against their body.

They murmer reassurances before he can even breathe a single word, and hes burrying his face in their shoulder, the one beside his own mark. Tears sting his closed gaze and their wading soft fingers their his hair. A kiss to the side of his head is all he needs and he wrapps his arms back around, agreeing like aways.

Gentle forgiven but never forgotten...

I figure I'd do a sort of drawing of where my Obey Me MC, Rosella's pact marks with the brothers are located on her body.

I also have my personal headcanon that the pact marks aren't visible to the naked eye unless activated and glowing in the colors representing the demon brothers.

Also Mammon and Levi's pact marks are on the palm of her left hand and on the back of her left wrist.

I was going through my sruff and I found a sketchbook filled with sigils..and now looking at it... seems funny mostly the sigils were Paimon, Asmodeus or Lucifer

I have to admit that I know very little about sigils. I would recognized that something was a sigil, but beyond that I would say my knowledge is quite limited.

They seem like they'd be pretty complex to draw out, though, so that's some dedication on your part, anon! My guess is they were intended to summon certain demons or maybe call upon their power in some way. I'm just imagining someone finding a sketchbook full of sigils and being like ??? was there an exorcism or something??

I also tend to think of pact marks when it comes to sigils in Obey Me. I know pact marks are completely fan interpretation, but I just love them. And to think they look more like traditional sigils is also pretty cool imo! Of course I'm thinking about Solomon covered in sigils, but also MC. I've seen some interesting fan art of what that could look like and yeah it's just so neat... they should make it canon lol.

seventy-two pacts

have some sol thirst (i would go feral if this were me)

content + warnings: suggestive, solomon x reader, solomon has visible pact marks and reader does too

"damn."

the word comes out quickly, before you can even think. you cover your mouth in embarrassment-- justified, considering you couldn't keep your reaction in-- but you can't peel your eyes away.

solomon's peeling off his shirt. in the midst of joking around and pouring some for you two to enjoy, he'd knocked the rim of one of the glasses against the bottle, spilling it all down the front of his shirt. so, to avoid soaking himself further, he immediately began to take the long sleeved garment off.

then you said it, and now he's frozen, shirt halfway off.

can you blame yourself, though? you've seen your fair share of shirtless men, as is expected when living in the chaos of the house of lamentation. but they're all smooth-skinned and flawless. some of them have a couple of scars here and there from the great celestial war. their muscles were obviously impressive in their own right. but they all missed something that solomon had-- something you're just now seeing for the first time.

swirling black lines run across his pale skin, curling around muscles, decorating the smooth planes of skin in intricate designs. from across the table, you can make out little latin characters. pact marks. a lot of them. the ornate symbols decorate the exposed part of his lower abdomen, luring you in with strange words and beautiful lines before disappearing beneath his beltline. do they-- do they follow his v-line? holy shit, you're about to start drooling--

"haha, mc, my eyes are up here!"

his charming, light laugh catches your attention. his eyes are sparkling with mirth, lips curled into a cheshire grin as he removes the rest of his shirt and bunches it in his hand.

the pact marks dance up across his broad shoulders and down his arms. they're gorgeous, arcane and mystical as they sprawl down his biceps and spill onto his forearms. you've seen his sleeves rolled up before, so you knew he had a few pact marks, but-- 72 pacts never looked so damn good.

the seven pact marks on your skin had always been a point of your own fascination. but seeing the sigils on solomon's skin made you wonder if you'd ever be covered the same way.

"i need a new shirt," he declares, smirking at you. he take a couple steps towards his room, then stops when he sees you still at the table. "c'mon."

"huh?" you feel like you've missed something.

"you think you've seen all of my pact marks? no, my dear apprentice, i have plenty more where that came from. and since you're so curious, i figured i might as well show you."

you scurry up from your spot and follow him like the obedient little apprentice you are.
