Raine acting like this makes even more sense when you remember that they started off as a teacher before being the head if the bard coven

They are the cool teacher, the one that will actually help if you get bullied and will try to help you with your schoolwork. They probably go out of their way to not assign much homework because I swear to titan, these kids need to get sleep, and they should have free time to be kids. Whatever homework the school system would have Raine assign would probably be extremely easy an on purpose, kind of like malicious compliance. They definitely made dad jokes in class, which half the students loved and half the students pretended to hate.

I just watched “O Titan, Where Art Thou” and can I say…. Even though it was a massive plot episode with tons of tears in it…I’m still so happy it got a happy ending 😭😍 Like it ended with Eda, Luz and King bonding ❤️❤️❤️ And ofc….OPTIMISM THAT THEY CAN FIGHT BELOS?!!!!! Can I just say how happy I am that the writers manged to avoid the “miscommunication leads to personal conflict” cliche when it came to Eda and Raine?

Eda knew that Raine wasn’t actually brainwashed, and instead of being angry at them for not letting her in on what they knew. She entrusts them to keep Luz and King safe from Belos.

And I love how neither of them is mad at the other for keeping secrets from each other.

This is the type of relationship dynamic I wanna see more of in animated shows.
