Wolverine (Gulo gulo)

Conservation Status- Least Concern

Habitat- Northern North America; Siberia; Nordic Europe

Size (Weight/Length)- 25 kg; 107 cm

Diet- Small mammals; Carrion

Cool Facts- If you thought I was done with mustelids, you were wrong. The wolverine is an apex predator of its snowy home. On rare occasions, a single wolverine can take down animals as big as moose and caribou due to latching jaws that can break through bone. Most of the time, wolverines prefer frozen carrion and small animals when it’s available. Wolverines are constantly on the move, making mating hard so when opportunities arise they take it. Females give birth in the spring to 2 or 3 kits who stay with their mother for about half a year. The father will occasionally check up on his family and will sometimes travel with his kits once their mother kicks them out of the den.

Rating- 12/10 (Let’s be real, mustelids are one of the coolest families.)

The amount of hate on a movie that’s not even out yet and the sheer disrespect towards Chadwick Boseman on Twitter in the comments for the Wakanda Forever announcement poster is ridiculous, disgusting, and disappointing, though sadly not surprising. The word mid is overused, annoying, and just shows that some people need to grow up. As for the movie, the trailer alone looks incredible and just all-out beautiful. Literally had chills towards the end, especially with the whispered: “Wakanda Forever.” I can not wait to see this film!
