It’s so hard being hurt by someone knowing that’s what they wanted, and knowing nothing you’ll ever do will make them feel regret for their actions.
You just sit in your sad emotions, unable to fight back because it would change nothing, unable to argue because it would nothing, unable to fight back because you don’t know how, and goddamnit I don’t want to fight.

I recently read the manga happy sugar life which my friend @gyozasauce likes, I watched the anime first but when I read the entire manga I realized that it had more information than the anime like all books and movies are. I was planning on doing a comic with Shio and Satou traditionally but I’m not sure if it’s gonna be liked or not 🤔. So in conclusion I really like the last doodle of Shio it kind of looks like her, I guess? I think the biggest subtle gut punch watching SU so far after having had everything spoiled  (no fault of anyone I just never thought I’d actually watch SU) was when Steven said he had considered dying his hair pink so he’d look more like his mom. 
The way he said it, the embarrassment and slight guilt, nervousness, but also sorta happy. He wanted to look more like her to fit an image and it broke my heart.

Intrusive Thoughts Post
Ok so I reblogged a post about intrusive thoughts today and I decided I needed to get this out of my head because if I had seen it a few years ago it would have saved me from so much pain. So here’s an info dump on intrusive thoughts.
Intrusive thoughts are defined as thoughts that you don’t want to have.
Intrusive thoughts are normal for everyone to have. Our brain is constantly firing thoughts and ideas at us and it’s our job to go “no, that’s not right” and filter them out. However, they become a problem when you lose your ability to ignore that they’re not your fault, or when they become extreme. This is common in depression, anxiety, ocd (It’s a lot of what ocd is), and most other mental disorders in some form. It does not necessarily mean you listen to them and do what they say or actually believe what they say (in ocd you do have trouble not listening to certain ones), but that you have trouble distinguishing that you’re not a bad person for having them, or just have an overwhelming number of them.
Examples of intrusive thoughts are:
Telling you that you should do the thing that would hurt you or other people”. An example of this would be picking up a knife and thinking “you should cut yourself with this”, despite maybe not having problems with self harm. I want to clarify this doesn’t mean having voices in your head like some diseases, it’s just your thoughts coming up with lots of ideas of things you don’t want to do.
Thoughts telling you thinks you do or don’t do have consequences that can be rational or irrational. A more irrational one is the common “you need to flip the light switch ten times when you leave the room or your family will die” that is made fun of a lot in movies (and the kind of thoughts you can have in certain types of ocds) or a more rational but still unhealthy way of thinking along the lines of blaming yourself for things that are only kinda your fault, and being to hard on yourself.
What I like to call the black horse problem. This is where you cannot stop thinking of things you find horribly disturbing or immoral, such as incest or pediphlia. It’s along the lines of if I said “don’t think of a black horse”, of course you’re gonna start thinking of a black horse. And the more you try to not think of a black horse, the more it appears in your mind. People with this type of intrusive thought often get stuck feeling like they are horrible people because of the things they have in their brain. And they get into a cycle because every time they want to think “hey I’ve been doing better!” That means they’re thinking about the things again, which means they’ve failed.
But fear not! There are ways to treat intrusive thoughts. The first one I’d recommend would be therapy, sometimes in cases of ocd and extreme issues with medication. However, because of America’s shitty healthcare, most people cannot afford to do that. My second recommendation in this case would be to look up videos and websites on intrusive thoughts that will help you. If you need some immediate advice, I can tell you guys what has helped me, but I cant guarantee it’ll help everyone:
- remind yourself that if you’re unhappy that you’re having intrusive thoughts, it’s because they’re intrusive, and that means it’s not your fault. You are not a bad person for having these thoughts, and you know this because you don’t want to have them, because they disgust you or bother you. You are a good person. Don’t listen to the monkey brain.
- if you get a thought, don’t focus on trying to get rid of it. Let it sit in your head and recognize that it’s there, and recognize that it doesn’t mean anything bad about yourself. Recognize that even though it’s there, that doesn’t mean you can’t live the rest of your life happily. Let it be there while you work on your homework, while you take a walk, while you talk to a friend. They are not bad, they are not you.
- if you’re worried about a new (or old) intrusive thought, and letting it sit doesn’t come easily, sometimes it helps to have a mental image to use to push it to the back of your head. This is fairly silly, but for me it is the heart walking away when you run from a battle in undertale. I picture the thought as the battle, and as the heart walks away from it, it gets pushed to the back of my head. This is more of a personal thing and different images might help. It’s different for everyone.
- TALK ABOUT IT. Find a friend or loved one who UNDERSTANDS MENTAL ISSUES. Tell them you’re having thoughts you don’t like. If you’re not comfortable telling them the details, sometimes it still helps to vocally say “these thoughts I’m having are intrusive”. Even if no one around saying it out loud to yourself can help.
Above all, remember that if you want to be a good person, and you haven’t physically done anything extreme to hurt anyone, then you are one, no matter what goes on inside your head. You’re thoughts aren’t you, you’re defined by your actions and your morals, not your thoughts.
I hope that someone out there might see this and be helped by it like I wish I had when I was younger. I truly believed I was the only one who had horrible thoughts and that I couldn’t tell anyone about it. I lived in horrible self hatred for years before I got help.
I really hope this gets reblogged and spread. If you want to, share your own stories of intrusive thoughts. The more this is spread, the more intrusive thoughts can become a thing people know about.
