people can still enjoy aspects of problematic content as long as they are critical of it and acknowledge the wrong things about it (unless the content in its entirety is horrible and awful, ex. being if the entire thing is about incest or proship content), if anything the anon in the last ask needs to grow up and learn that people are allowed to still enjoy things, you arent in the wrong at all, i hate how much hate you get from people when you are simply existing
yeah it’s alright, I understand the thought that you shouldn’t interact with things at all if something is bad about it. And if that’s what they’re comfortable with that’s fine. I completely get it if it’s a trigger or you can’t look past things or whatever, but it’s not really up to me or them to decide how other people interact with it^^;;

do you ship zadr?
No, personally I don't ship them. I do not, have not, will not draw or write anything zadr related. Zadr content isn't something I actively seek out, but If it pops up on my dash, I usually scroll past. It's no big deal to me, I'm habituated to it.
The discourse is as old as the fandom itself and I have no time and energy for it.
(Before anyone clogs up my ask box with "but you liked something tagged zadr once weeks or months ago" or "you follow zadr shippers, you disgusting old perv!"
Most zadr related content I find harmless and many zadr fans are nice/ talented. We just enjoy different cups of tea.
Anyone with "ZADR DNI, go die instead!" Or any other equally obnoxious tags and banners slapped all over their blog, I avoid, even if I also do not ship zadr. Again, I find the sentiment obnoxious. It IS in fact possible to not support a ship without harassing strangers and demonizing them.
If I like a drawing tagged zadr, it's because the characters aren't necessarily doing anything romantic in the image or whatever and I happen to like the way the characters are drawn.)
I don't have a problem with anyone else being into the ship (because they're fictional characters...
Other people interpret Zim and Dib's dynamic differently than me and that's perfectly fine.
No one will ever convince me to join the anti zadr crusade or any similar crusade for other fandoms. It's a waste of energy AND I don't have the right to dictate to anyone else how to enjoy or how to contribute to the fandoms they enjoy.
If my neutral attitude towards the subject bothers anybody, they are welcome to block me.

hm you know what I’m gonna be honest I don’t think Your Turn to Die deserved the danganronpa treatment
#both in its comparisons to dr and in the nature of its fandom#it’s a narrative with interesting themes that deserves more than typical danganronpa style shipping discourse#or like. judging the characters based on how problematic they are#instead of their merits as characters#not to say “ohhh analysis is a Dead Art#kids these days are SHALLOW and VAPID”#which is a stupid take#enjoy things how you please#not my business#it’s just.. the shipping discourse thing fit danganronpa so much better because it was so character driven#that was its thing with the freetime events and whatnot#but while yttd also focuses a lot on its characters it puts a lot of stock into the nature of people and how they interact#and humanity and how we define it#i wish it was appreciated more#yttd#your turn to die#like remember the qtaro hatred? it seems people only really started considering him as someone to even consider when he “redeemed” himself#which yeah! his redemption is really cool and it’s interesting to see how his character progresses!#but it was SO not fair to the story to before that point just be like “he sucks.
