He couldn’t help but feel a bit down and insecure of himself. Is he not flashy as Tomioka? No.. Tomioka isn’t even close to being as flamboyant as him.

“Tengen-sama.. are you alright?” Makio asked. “Yes, of course I’m fine!” He replied, fixing his posture and once again smiling. Okay.. if you weren’t gonna talk to him he’ll at least talk to another one of his wives.

Gyomei Himejima

He doesn’t really appreciate it when you skip out on training, but he can’t exactly stop you. Your voodoo doll came in handy for that. Not that you would, but he knew that you had the power to hand his own ass right back to him if you were threatened.

There was one time where a demon attacked the two of you, and while Gyomei couldn’t see you, he could feel the power in the air as you went into your Iris Heart mode. You went from nice and kind (and a bit lazy) to completely cold and sadistic and insulting the demon for having the audacity to attack the love of your life.

Gyomei was convinced that you were one of the gods/goddesses that he constantly prayed to, and he just worshiped the very ground you walked upon. If you were the one to lead him from place to place, tears would fall from his eyes. Don’t get me started on if you were to hold his face as you wiped said tears away.

Mitsuri Kanroji

You looked so kind and compassionate, just like she did! That’s what drew her to you, because not a lot of Hashira were like that. She was attached to you at the hip, never wanting to leave you… ever. If she could, she’d spend every single waking and sleeping moment by your side.

Once, when a demon decided to ambush the two of you, you pushed Mitsuri out of the way and transformed into Iris Heart. You immediately started showing your sadistic side, and went into battle like it was nothing new to you. She had to admit that it was very attractive, though.

The minute you finished, you rushed over to her to see if she was alright, and Mitsuri was very flustered. She quickly snapped out of it and started looking you over to see if you were harmed at all. Upon finding that neither of you were injured, you both let out a huge sigh of relief.

Giyu Tomioka

You treated him with kindness and that’s all that mattered to him. Of course, he doesn’t particularly like you skipping out on training sessions, but you do you. To be fair, he did spar against you once and you kicked your voodoo doll which sent him flying into a nearby tree.

There was one time where you two were attacked by a demon as you were answering Kanzaburo’s call for a mission. You shifted into Iris Heart because the demon had taken away your voodoo doll, and you were definitely angry.

Giyu just watched on as you beat the shit out of your assailant in your goddess form. You didn’t even need any help. You could just cut off the head, but you wanted to cause that poor unfortunate soul more pain than really was necessary. Tomioka was just sitting there like 😐

Tengen Uzui

You were the 4th addition to his little family, and you were the strongest out of all of them. He didn’t mind being weaker than his wife, though, considering you were a goddess. It just elevated his status and could actually become the God of Festivals.

None of them wanted to ever make you angry, considering a time where they got to witness your more sadistic side as Iris Heart. You absolutely packed a demon up for trying to harm Makio before Tengen even had a chance to grab his sword.

Uzui was a bit (read: very) upset that you endangered yourself like that, but he was glad that both you and Makio were alright. After all, as long as you were both okay, everything was fine. Suma and Hinatsuru were definitely more worried than he was, though.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

When you both first met, he definitely tried to fight you because he knew you weren’t human. You stomped on your voodoo doll and sent him flying a few meters. That’s when he knew that he was absolutely in love with you.

The first time he had ever seen Iris Heart was when you were angry at the other Hashira for not accepting Nezuko. You were especially mad at Sanemi because he stabbed the box, and you said something along the lines of I hope you are just as much of a masochist as you are a sadist.

You proceeded to kick his ass and hand it right back to him. As you stood with your heel on his chest, Shinazugawa didn’t have it in him to fight back. It’s not just because he loves you, but also because he has absolutely no energy.

Shinobu Kocho

She was very intrigued by your doll, since it seemed as though it could attach to any person even if it doesn’t look like them. Plus, any damage inflicted upon the doll would consequently be inflicted upon the person it was attached to.

You brought out Iris Heart in the spider forest. You were originally sided with the Main Three, and you were defending Nezuko. The fight between you two looked more like a graceful dance than anything, and when the crow called that the demon was to be brought to Ubuyashiki, you both stopped and bowed to each other in respect.

The two of you got along quite well, with a few sarcastic remarks towards each other. Both of you had a very sadistic nature, so as you both fought demons that little side of you came out and you threw hands that demons couldn’t catch.

Kyojuro Rengoku

He also doesn’t mind a spouse that is stronger than himself. It means that you are able to defend yourself (but he’s still worried about you whenever you go on missions). Your voodoo doll’s powers put him at ease just a little, because that means you don’t have to waste time with transitioning.

The first time he got to see Iris Heart was also when most of the Hashira refused to acknowledge Nezuko as anything more than a demon. You threw Sanemi to a tree, you threw Uzui to the ground, and you were close to fighting with Rengoku.

Aside from that little incident, you both loved each other dearly. He doesn’t approve of you skipping out on training, and will often throw you over his shoulder to drag you back to the yard. There is no escaping, so there’s no point in trying.

Obanai Iguro

Almost all of the Hashira are stronger than him, so he doesn’t really care. He might be a little insecure, though. After all, why would someone as great and lovely as you stick around with someone so unworthy like him?

When he first saw Iris Heart, it was when a demon decided that they were going to attack him from behind, which wouldn’t give him or Kaburamaru time to react. You stepped in front and stopped out the light of undead life that was in the unfortunate soul’s eyes.

From then on, you both were together. He is always worried about you, but may sometimes find you annoying because you tend to slack off. Another thing is that Kaburamaru loves perching himself on your shoulders. The snake loves you almost as much as his master does.

Muichiro Tokito

Again, most of the Hashira are stronger than he is, but he's completely okay with it. You both like to slack off and stare at the clouds with each other. Sometimes, you both lay on the grass as you talk to each other about random things.

The first time he saw Iris Heart was, again, when the Hashira refused to accept Nezuko. He quickly woke up from the trance he's always in as you landed a strong and firm punch to Tengen's stomach that sent the sound Hashira flying.

He admired your courage and your willingness to follow him and his head into the clouds above, and he does feel bad that he sometimes ignored you or what you were saying because he was zoning out, but just know that he truly does love you, even if it seems like he's not paying attention.

i feel like tengen would be able to deal with your zoning out and stuff pretty well… i have a feeling Suma zones out a lot as well plus he is friends with Rengoku and all the other pillars so ya’know he kinda deals with their different personalities all the time

whenever you’re talking to him you tend to fidget with your top or something random you had gotten from the house or outside to help you concentrate, tengen noticed this when you first got married and joined everyone but he didn’t wanna bring it up just incase you got insecure and tried to pretend to be “normal”

with being cut off during conversations he kinda gets a tad bit annoyed because he does have four wives now with different personalities and a lot to say, but he never really gets upset with you, suma, makio or hinatsuru if one of you ever cut him or each other off. he just listens to what one of you have to say then go back to whatever he was saying or whatever one of you guys were saying, he’s very patient when it comes to you four to be honest

your relationship is pretty open and there’s a lot of communication so if you’re getting distracted or even bored with a certain topic you kinda just say that whenever it’s your turn to speak or something, then you talk about something else or do whatever you want in another room

makio tends to get very upset with the cutting off people thing, Suma doesn’t really care because she does the exact same thing (it’s giving adhd 😀👍🏾), hinatsuru is very calm and willing to listen to whatever any of you guys have to say. she’s a very patient person and doesn’t really get upset and tengen has learned to deal with each of your personalities over time so depending on which one you are he’ll either give back that energy (makio🗿) or be patient.

Mitsuri K.

Mitsuri gives off a lot of zoning out, can’t concentrate and getting distracted very quickly energy so ya’know perfect fucking match made in heaven by god himself. he can get distracted by a lot of things very easily she just tries not to during pillar meetings so she doesn’t get yelled at by Tengen 😔

if you cut her off in the middle of a conversation she doesn’t mind at all honestly! she probably does the same thing too so y’all have 5 minute conversations about one thing then “OH as i was saying earlier about that cat!” or “WAIT i just remembered! did you do that thing” every five minutes i kid you not half of your conversations are forgotten because you guys just keep piling different topics onto each other

as for the fidgeting thing she doesn’t do that but whenever you do and you don’t have anything to fidget with she gives you her hand to mess with. she does really mind so be honest and it happens so much that it’s so normal so her

if she starts seeing you get more insecure about this and trying to “mask” your personality with another one that isn’t like you she’d be so sad…. she loves how you are normally. one thing she hates is whenever you get overly insecure and stop talking around others

she helps you with being more confident about yourself personality wise. she thinks it’s a big deal if you’re confident in the person you truly are instead of trying to fake it for others approval

Shinobu K.

you and shinobu are both similar and different in a lot of ways… she zones out, gets distracted and even unintentionally interrupts people that isn’t Tomioka (she does that intentionally). she may not zone out as much as you do but she does get distracted a lot.

if you can’t concentrate on something she always offers help or even suggests you take a break from whatever you can’t concentrate on and work on it later. whenever she helps you she kinda just sits with you and gets you back on track, even grabbing you a snack because she says a small snack could help with focusing again and it does :)

Obanai I.

complete opposites 😀 he is very calm and stuff while you aren’t a lot of the time. you also zone out alot which reminds him of Muichiro because of how often you do it. you also get distracted mid conversation and kinda just stop listening to what he’s saying and go to do something else, he gets hella offended by the way but never tells you that

there was one time someone said something negative about your personality and how you unintentionally interrupt others and you got insecure and started trying to change yourself. Obanai was fucking livid… he hated how someone made you insecure for being you. he loves the person you are, even though you zoning out or something does get a little frustrating it’s who you are and he wouldn’t trade your personality for the world… imma just say that person got an ear full 😁

if you fidget a lot or can’t really stay still he lets you hold Kaburamaru if you need something to help you. the snake actually really loved you btw and it normally doesn’t like a lot of people but you’re the only one he allows, congratulations — the snake has claimed you as second person

you both are so similar in the cutting people off and zoning out that it’s like you both were made for each other. though he doesn’t fidget or get distracted easily he does like to learn more so please! do tell him more! he will listen very carefully and will definitely do research on how to help

if you are getting bored with a subject you always tell him so that he can change it to whatever you’d like and continue the conversation that was being had earlier later. he also does the same with you as well. just like with Tengen your relationship is very open and there’s alot of communication, so there is nothing that is hidden from one another unless it’s a present or something

Several of the others started encroaching upon you, causing you to scramble to your feet and start running for your life. You made it outside and continued to run, until you smashed headfirst into something -- or rather, someone

"Whoa, going somewhere?" The tall, handsome man in front of you asked, a small smirk forming on his lips. You stared up at him, dumbfounded, taking in his rather unique appearance, the mark over his left eye, the jewels adorning his clothing, and the two heavy looking swords on his back

His smirk quickly disappeared when he saw the demons that had been chasing you, and, gently pushing you behind him, he drew his swords and made quick work of them

Annnnd that was basically how you met Uzui Tengen. Afterwards he brought you to Ubuyashiki's estate to be taken care of, but also to get information about the hideout you crashed into

When they found out you had come face to face with Muzan, and survived, they knew they needed to keep you around

Tengen never left your side the entire time, and you grew to admire him tremendously, admiration soon turning into affection

He felt the same about you, but he noticed that you had a tendency to talk down about yourself and compare yourself to others constantly

It was something that, quite honestly, broke his heart

How could someone as flashy, as amazing as you, ever think such things about yourself?!

When you met his wives, they felt the exact same as Tengen, wondering why on earth you put yourself down so much. When they found out about your good/bad luck, they understood a bit better, but still did their best to reassure you

Makio at first was a bit impatient with you but she would do anything to keep you safe, if anyone said anything about you she'd punch them, no doubt

Suma is constantly at your side. She cries whenever you talk badly of yourself, which is something you can't bear to see, so you try your best not to do that in front of her

Hinatsuru sits you down and talks to you, makes sure you're doing okay, reassures you and attempts to instill you with a bit more confidence

You were still stunned when Tengen eventually proposed to you

How could I ever compare to his three beautiful, lovely wives?! Was a thought that did pass your mind, but you had known Tengen long enough that you knew he would never lie to you or insult you or pull pranks on you
