“Where were you when the world stopped turning…on that September day?”
I was too young to remember that day, but the stories I’ve heard and the world I’ve lived in more than made up for it. My dad had an office on the 107th floor of the North Tower, where he had a meeting scheduled for that morning. The only reason he is still alive is because his business partner canceled the Thursday prior. To this day he remembers the phone call he received from my sister; “Dad - where are you?” It saddens me to think about how many fathers were unable to answer that call.

zoro and luffy were SO lucky they met nami when they did because their whole plan amounted to floating around in their little boat drifting towards trouble. no map. no compass (as if that would help them). neither of them can figure out what north is. chronic case of the sillies. bare minimum supplies and ten berries in a joint banking account after they spent zoro’s pirate hunting bounty nest egg on booze and food. legend says they’re still lost

Photographer Shadi Mahmoud documents severe damage by the IOF to Star Tower in western Gaza City. To understand the scale, note how small the people look as they climb over the rubble.

Journalist and film director Osama Al-Ashi documents the destruction of Shawa Tower in the area of northern Gaza City and Rimal. Shawa Tower housed many media offices. Similar structures such as Al-Badrawi and Al-Shorouk Towers were targeted in much the same way.
