Stretch marks aren’t always pale, thin tiger stripes.. sometimes they are deep & dark & weirdly shaped, in places you wouldn’t expect, tender itchy scar tissue exposed to the world.
They are not a flaw or mistake or reason to tear yourself apart in the mirror. They are evidence of the ways you’ve grown & changed over the years, all the ups & downs your body has endured, all the bending stretching shrinking moving breaking.
I am learning to love my softer self. I am learning to treat this body with kindness. It’s a process but so worth it. & step one is loving the person in the reflection I see every day. ♡
Always remember: • your softness does not make you weak • your softness does not make you any less worthy (of love, food, beautiful experiences, living life, etc) • your softness is something to celebrate; not hide. think of all the inner hell you’ve gone through to allow yourself to be this way. • you’re allowed to feel sexy & stunning no matter what your body looks like. • #thickthighssavelives😝 • softness = great cuddles/great pillow
Embracing your softness in a society so obsessed with destroying the concept is an act of beautiful rebellion !! #normalizenormalbodies

Okay. Screw it. We’re putting Rhys Darby and David Harbour in a room and telling them they can’t leave until they can agree on who was hotter prior to having their “breakout role” while middle aged. Knowing them, they’ll find a way to make it about hating their appearances but maybe in their mutual “self-deprecation on main” misery they can realize how much I just really need them to STOP.

it is literally called a “happy” trail for a reason.. If you feel any emotion other than joy upon seeing it you should be sent to live on a deserted island by yourself forever. or blow up. either way get out of my presence

I made this animation a year ago but I'm still very happy with it so I'm gonna give it some new life! I'd love to remake this sometime, but that's gonna be a far away future project I think.

genuinely i think it's important for adults, especially in the plague times, to play pretend in our day-to-day lives. when i rub my back down with tiger balm so i can sleep without pain, i imagine i am a valiant knight tending to an old injury i received from a dragon. when i go to the store to pick up eggs and milk, i am a lone cowboy riding into town on a mission. when i turn my collar up against the wind i am a femme fatale who's killed 4 husbands and is scoping out a 5th. when i stomp around in the snow i am a doomed polar explorer. if being a little bit silly about my walk to the pharmacy helps me remember that life can be full of joy and whimsy, then so be it.

pov you're roman roy, and you have a body that has reactions you can't control, and those reactions are pathetic and freakish and prove just how much you've gotten it wrong. you can't laugh, you can't talk, you can't even cry at your father's funeral without everyone seeing what a failure made flesh you are.

Body hair on women is totally normal and natural. A woman having chest hair is okay. Women can grow a beard or a mustache. Women can grow hair on their forearms. Women can grow body hair. Body hair on women is totally natural. Not just the hair on your legs and armpits but the hair everywhere.
