Amstran the moon dancer:"Alright, again, this time hit harder and a little bit to your left, Polestar the star sprite!"

Luna the moon demon :"Nishya the dream cat if you want to learn how to win in a sword fight you need to stop being so tense, relax and focus."

Yan-naifu the ghost:"Does anybody want a snack, you should eat something, this is a new receipe."

Faith the head rabbit:"Oh no, not another receipe experiment on us..."

Amstran the moon dancer:"I gave this to Donut as a friendship gesture, i can't believe they got her...i swear if they dare harm Donut..."

Luna the moon demon:"Look i know how important she is but right now it's not the time, we have to move."

Amstran the moon donut: "Donut, where are you? Donut answer me if you can hear us!"

Hester the photo marksmen:"This place has so many rooms, she could be anywhere, i'm taking right and you left."

Yan-naifu the ghost:"I don't think it's a great plan to split up, there are some demons dogs, very powerful."

Le souris bon bon neige:"You don't have to come with us, it's better to stay here and wait."

Yan-naifu the ghost:"Excuse me?I want to help Donut as much as everyone else...I'm not a weak ghost you know!"

Staran the galaxy man:"Star dust galaxy ink!"

Hester the photo marksmen:"This dog is bigger than my last one!"

Yan-naifu the ghost:"I told you there were some demons dogs and now a statue because apperently this place isn't bad enough..."

Le souris bon bon neige:"Why this gives me the Harry Potter vibes?I already have a wand where is my letter?"

Staran the galaxy man:"Yes, and i'm sure every broom in the castle is a Nimbus 2001, come on ice mouse, use your spell and make a hole in the wall..."

Amstran the moon dancer:"This mirror is so strange, this house gives me those vibes like this is a nest at some point."

Donut:"Amstran the moon dancer is that you? Help! I'm tied up by some chains."

Ok, so now that i made that Harry Potter it's time to sort my ocs in Hogwarts but before that i want to say that i was only 12 years old when i saw the first movie HP amd the Chamber of secrets and i wished that JK wasn't a bad person but she is and i don't agree with her...plus in my country there is a limited Harry Potter merch for exemple rare clothes and books only and i am not that rich to go to London to buy the merch so please no hate for me.

Is tariot hard to learn? my mom has stories of her aunt being psychic and it feels interesting to try. she said that she used a normal playing card deck though? is there a trick to picking out a deck use? also ive heard its bad luck to just by yourself a deck, its better as a gift?

Is tarot hard to learn? I'm not specialized in tarot (they're too rigid for me) but I'd say they are harder to learn than oracle cards. Someone once described tarot as a language you need to learn and I think that's a very good description. Biddy Tarot is the best source to learn tarot if you ask me. Biddy Tarot has both upright and reversed cards, though you can start tarot with upright cards only, learn those first and then continue by learning reversed cards (if wanted. Not all readers use reversed cards). When you get the basics, you can then start to combine the meanings together and you become more fluent with the messages.

I've seen people doing readings with Pokemon trade cards! Playing cards are close to tarot as they also have 4 elements and same amount of cards from 2 to ace like tarot. It's like tarot but without major arcanas.

Is there a trick to picking out a deck use? Not really. I've found out that it's a trial and error. Start by picking a deck that you like or are interested in. It depends what kind of vibes you like. For example I work really well with Doreen Virtue's old oracle card decks and "darker" decks with a grounded energy. Too feminine, light and bright decks don't work. Sometimes a deck might be pretty but "soulless" to you. You just don't vibe together. It's OK. then you just find a new deck. Not all music or movies are meant for us either. Nor are all decks, so choose whatever interests you. Some recommendations for tarot decks are Black Cats Tarot, Shadowscape Tarot, Neon Moon Tarot, Weird Cat Tarot.

Also ive heard its bad luck to just by yourself a deck, its better as a gift? I keep running into this superstition only on Tumblr time to time. Is this an American belief? I've never heard about it anywhere else. No, getting yourself a deck - or any other divination tool - is not a bad luck. You are the best person to judge what deck you want. It's, after all, only a tool you use, not a magical item that can jinx you if you don't do as it says. If that was the case, I would have jinxed myself and my clients for the past 20 years because majority of the decks I've gotten myself. My very first tarot deck was chosen and bought by me and it worked wonders for many years! However, if your fear and anxiety for "Oh no, I'll get back luck i I get a deck by myself!!!" is really strong, then ask someone else to give you a deck so you can start working with the cards from a clean, positive plate.

ABSOLUTELY! Sometimes I'm really awkward in my replies, but I feel it's only fair to say thank you after someone spent time reading and commenting something after!!!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I'm a happily ever after person only! I really don't think I have one that even ends bittersweet... at least not yet 👀

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

All of them?! I think the one that ends the happiest might be Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore or Everything Is Blue. I would say You Were All Yellow also ends really happily and into the future so maybe that one too?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I don't think I have? Hopefully, I don't jinx myself!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I write very mild, fade to black smut. Actually, steddie was the first time I actually dabbled in the art of writing smut. I don't think I'm very good at it, but sometimes you need the ✨ vibes ✨ When it comes to the smut in my fic, I think I tend to go into with an air of humor to it. There's usually lots of giggling involved.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I haven't!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of and if it does happen, I will FIND the person!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don't think so?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Back in the day one of my friends and I were co-writing a 5sos fic but we never finished it and I've never tried co-writing again. I would definitely be up for it though! I think it would be fun to co-write a steddie fic with alternating POV

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

I feel compelled to say steddie since those idiots OWN my entire life and are the reason I'm even writing right now.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

My Wayne fic or a Tommy POV fic that I've barely started!

16. What are your writing strengths?

I like to think I'm really good at writing dialogue! I've also been complimented a handful of times about my ability to keep characterizations similar to canon which is always a big compliment!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

ACTION. ACTION. ACTION. What are people doing? Where are they standing? What does the room layout look alike? All those little details KILL me. I also think I'm a really literal writer so I STRUGGLE with more flow-y language. Also, I suck at varying how I start sentences! (And grammar/spelling for a writer i SUCK at it)

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I've never done it with a fic, but I have other projects that incorporate Spanish dialogue! It's fun!

5sos! I honestly wasn't a big fan fic reader or writer in my youth!

create boundaries - i need to take control of my own life and stop allowing others to dictate how i feel. i create my reality.

good vibes only - not in a cheesy way but seriously, people who continuously bring me down do not deserve space in my life. i also want to hang out with people who have goals and dreams and aspirations. i don't want to be stuck anymore.

celebrate life - everything deserves to be celebrated. i went to class today? so proud of myself. did my homework a day early? i'm getting some starbies after class. didn't cry today? hitting my cart in celebration.

the glass is always half full - if you believe the glass is half empty it will only continue to lose liquid. put a lid on it. now it's half full. stop looking at the worst case scenario because you're gonna jinx yourself.

have fun - not everything is so serious. i want to go on dates, who cares if they don't like me!!! who really cares!!! life is silly!!! life is fun!!! if it's not fun i'm gonna make it fun.

who cares - my new motto. who cares. besides me? no one. just do it. as long as i'm not hurting myself or anyone around me who really cares?

Thirty Four.

Rubbing the top of my head, Maxwell is quiet. He is writing down everything I have just discussed with him “so in a nutshell Chris I can say you are really doing well, you are happier. I can see the happiness is radiant, I can see it a lot and I am happy. I am really happy you are using the tools I have set; you are taking time with things. I know things aren’t perfect, nobody is perfect Chris we can admit that, I am not perfect. We are humans, we make mistakes, we feel things so never think because you had a bad day, bad hour, even a bad thought you have failed. But I am happy you are taking your time; this is what you need to start doing and if you are late then so what. But you are heading in the right direction” nodding my head, I am having my daily chat with Maxwell, that ain’t going to change, I enjoy speaking to him, he is such good vibes he speaks to me without judgement, and I love that for me “yeah, I am late always now. I think with me I need to set myself up for shit, because the people my kids, even Robyn are with and around they don’t like me, they don’t want me around Robyn, so I have to think to myself how will I handle it and I am doing well, not to jinx it. I walk off, I walk away. I don’t need to be there; I don’t need to be ranting off. I mean there will be moments and I accept that, but I am working on it, I am calmer. I went to Robyn’ after party for Savage, I wasn’t going to go but then I did. She erm text me saying to come, I felt it that she did, but I was apprehensive and then I text my daughter and asked. My daughter said oh mom is just floating around, she isn’t doing much and that ain’t her, she is always the life of the party and I realise that she has lost a lot of people in her life during the time with me and she has chosen me a lot, erm. It’s been a learning thing because it was always her family, but we have come to a point now where she has chosen me, there is so many broken relationships and I was like damn, so I went. And it was like” I smiled “it was like erm a lightbulb, she was so happy. I was just having fun with her; we had a good time at the end. We did share a kiss, she kissed me, but Robyn is always touchy with me” Maxwell smiled “aye, how did that feel?” he asked “it was good, I mean erm, she admitted to not putting the papers through, it’s there but not gone to the judge, so I don’t know” I shrugged.

Maxwell laughed “that is good, I mean I know I tried to differ you to be set up for downfalls with what you did but that could have happened but seeing you smile, seeing you happy. And I noticed the ring, it’s good for you both. You need to set a pace, this pace you set you keep. You need to slow yourself down, you see when you think before you speak, you do good. Remember that. You said that your mouth runs, and don’t think it’s all good, you can still do it. That is you but you have learnt to think and relax and be calm. So you are now going to a show?” he asked “yeah, my daughter is walking the Dior show and I am going because to support her, but there will be people there. I think there will be someone there majorly to piss me off and I am ready for it” I laughed “but I can’t wait to see Robyn, I am not pushing for it. At times I feel like we are good as best friends?” I said, “good point but we marry our best friends don’t we?” nodding my head “take it slow, love like this is too strong. I am new to your bubble, and I see it and I watch you and even seeing pictures of you at the events, I want to know your demeanour and you glow with her” I laughed “yeah, I do” I sighed out “you are good person, remember that” Maxwell is just that guy “my head is already big bro” I grinned “no harm in it getting bigger” shaking my head smiling.

I am only doing this because my child is walking this show, I wouldn’t want to come to these events like that, also Robyn I guess but it’s not me anymore. I have come alone with Big D, I have left my peers at home, there is no reason for them to be here and also they don’t have a place at all to be sat there. Big D opened my car door, I have to walk this carpet. Getting out of the car door and then I see Rocky, which brings me a slight joy because I can walk with him “Breezy bro” dapping him “long time, how you been?” he just smiled “is that supposed to be some code word? The fuck” he is just a whore still “man, life is good, but I am just still looking for the right girl, I ain’t seeing it” shaking my head “ain’t seeing it or you just enjoy being the whore you are?” he shrugged “what can I say brother, there is many women I need to try” I don’t know how he does it “you can walk with me now” I said “oh yeah, two pretty niggas on the carpet. I don’t think they can take it” approaching the carpet and the shouting from the paparazzi “Chris!” waving at them and stopped walking to let them take their pictures, it’s crazy to me that I am a bigger star then Rocky, and I came into this shit late “to the side Chris, to the side. Let’s see the outfit” moving to the side for them as they took the pictures, turning around as Rocky screamed laughing “you high as shit” he pushes me along “man fuck these cameras” he damn right, I don’t even want to be taking these pictures.

Looking at Rocky’ phone, I did a double take and looked at his face “you here plotting your next puss?” he sniggered “you got to be on it” looking away from him, Robyn’ eyes bulged out staring at me. We are sat across each other “why?” she mouthed, I shrugged. My name was here, how do I know. Seeing Melo is sat with my wife, she is not happy “they shouldn’t let us sit together” Rocky said at the side of me “mhmmm, I think we about to act up” feeling my phone vibrate, getting my phone out “let me guess Rihanna is having palpitations?” Rocky said “you know it, she is questioning why I am sat here, my name was here” opening the message from Robyn.

Looking up at her laughing, she is not happy but what does she want me to do, they sat me here. Let me reply back .

I pulled a face at her, she can’t just move him “oh Robyn said shut up laughing, you know how she is. She is being a child now, trying to move a child to sit here” Rocky looked at Robyn, he shook his head “just tell her to relax, it’s a seating plan” he thinks I am telling her that, I will not be. She is unhinged when it comes to me. Before I could answer the text I see Melo walking to me “oh shit!” Rocky laughed out “she is really causing a scene, man. She has no shame, I can’t even” Melo is so red, it’s a place full of the rich and he is just walking across like this “sorry bro, speak soon” I got up “sorry” I apologised to him, he is a child, and she did that. She is so annoying for this, she is just smiling like she has done good, she has not, she is so annoying. Sitting down sighing out “thank you” she said in a whisper “mhmm” I said, “who sat me there?” I asked “well I think it’s more to do with the fact I asked Melo to be here, they moved you which is a no” I chuckled “you was like yeet! Get him gone” looking at her face “not seen you for two days” she is cute “thank god” I said, she swatted me in annoyance.

My smile grew seeing my daughter, she has finally come out of hiding and is walking the runway. She is being serious, I know she sees us “look at her” Robyn said in my ear, lifting my arm up a little seeing her hand snake around and held my hand, looking at her hand and then her face. I didn’t say anything and looked back at Rylee; she is serious about this stuff. I love how she didn’t even flinch, she was deadass about it all “I am upset you went missing on me for two days” Robyn said in a whisper “you know where I was” I said “no I didn’t, don’t lie. We had that kiss and you just disappeared, why?” licking my lip and looked at her “no reason, I generally had no reason to come out Robyn, you know that. You was busy, I wasn’t and also I don’t want to be in your face about things” she side eyed me, seeing Tina crawling over to us, she rushed over and whispered in Robyn’ ear, let me just go back to watching this shit, I ain’t even here for the fashion, just my daughter. Robyn moved her hand “I will be back” she said and went off” I didn’t even say anything but to let her go, looking to the side of me and my eyes laid on Jay Z, I didn’t know he was there, was he sat there all this time. I just looked away from him, I do not want trouble. I am minding my business, I know he has moved next to me, dragging my eyes away and staring ahead of me, Rocky eyeballed me because I know it looks so tense “come back to Roc Nation and I will get Rihanna off the contract, I know she doesn’t want to do it” this nigga is going to make me bring my bad side out “it’s a done deal” I said “I don’t fuck with the devil, you think I am going to go back to you” I said “just know I am going to fuck you over” I said “not if I do it first, remember we still have our hands in her ventures” that’s all they do is use “I really don’t care” licking my lips “I want you to divorce Rihanna, it’s the most you owe her to make her sales go even higher, we are all waiting on the moment” looking at him “y’all are so sick and twisted” staring at him “is this what you did when she was younger?” Jay Z stared me “manipulate her life, tell her she has to do something so you gain, did you gain” I will punch him, the stare is intense “she was a child” I blurted it out “I am back” Robyn ran back “sit down, sorry” Jay moved away from me, I am so angry at this shit now.

Dapping Rocky as he laughed out “why are you laughing?” I asked him “you look like you was about to punch Jay man, I was about to get my phone out” shaking my head “nah, he ain’t worth it” looking around me, Robyn be going back and forth, and I am going to dip so she better appear quick “who is that kid that sat with me? He was so awkward” that reminds me “erm, man. Where he go?” I asked, “I don’t know but he just sat there” I lost him “that is my daughter boyfriend” I said, “oh shit, and you lost him already” seeing him from where I am, waving him over “I know right” looking to the side of me “where did you rush off too earlier?” I asked Robyn “Jay Brown wanted me, I was back though” rolling my eyes “ok, so where did you go now?” I asked “him again, I need to finish off the album” licking my lips “listen to me, we will finish your album. You can take some of my songs, just hear me out. Let me do your album, don’t let them know. Whatever money I make I will give it you but let me do it, make a side A and Side B. Two album, done, World tour, so what. Make it exclusive, do a stadium tour. One date each country, there is the world tour. Fuck them, fuck everyone. You need to get out away from them, fulfil the fucking deal and done. Listen to me” I said to her “are you going to listen to me?” I stared her down “what happened?” Rocky asked “they got Robyn on some shit to got me out of a contract, but they dogged her out, they dropped me. If they wanted to get me out of the contract it would have been done properly. She signed out of desperation to get me out, and you know what I don’t care, they going to know about it. They didn’t even fully let me go, they held my music hostage too, but made her sign that?” Rocky is flabbergasted “so they didn’t fulfil they side because they dropped you, not let you go. Dropping you looks like you didn’t fulfil your deal” I pointed at Rocky “see what I mean, they fucked you over and we doing the same. You need to stop being in their pocket Robyn, you need to not tell them your next move” I am pissed off “I don’t’ mind helping, if you need” looking off, seeing both Jay’ staring at me “you just need to fight him" Rocky said “shut up!” Robyn spat “I am a changed nigga” I am pissed off, but I can refrain from doing dumb shit, I am good “Rylee!” I spat catching her come out “oh my god, did I do good?” she said “you did amazing baby, come here” walking over to her “I am so glad you’re here dad” hugging her ”of course I would be” hugging close.

Robyn and I went to the club with Rocky and some people, my people came out too. Robyn came alone actually, none of her people came. Saluting some girls that were waving at me, bopping my head as Crew started playing, leaning down to Robyn as she faced me “She see money all around me, I look like I'm the man, yeah. But I was down and out like last week, tell me where have you been. You came out of hiding, girl, don't act like I'm your man. You just a fan” I pointed at Robyn as she laughed “come up” waving at her, helping her up onto the couch to stand on. She placed her hand on my shoulder, leaning my head down to her, my hand on her hip “I am going to listen to you, do the album for me” she said in my ear, looking at her smiling. I was going to lean down to her ear but her face got in mine, so instead I pressed a kiss to her lips. Turning to her wrapping my arms around her body, she wrapped her arms around my neck “come back to my hotel room” she said in my ear, I laughed “I am serious, come to the hotel room. I was so sad you went missing on me for two days, I can put you to sleep” I can’t stop smiling, she squeezed her arms around my neck “say you are” moving my head back, she stared at me. Biting on my bottom lip nodding my head “I am little spoon” I said, she laughed “deal” pressing a kiss to her lips.

Answered this in another ask, but essentially writing is an act of venting trauma and catharsis for me - so I'm usually not proud of something until I literally feel like I've taken all the worst bits of myself as a person and my past and made something absolutely gorgeous out of it, I am the kind of person that feels the greatest beauties arise from the greatest horrors and that's always my goal as a writer. Also, external validation from others does a lot for me

You didn't specify here so I'll assume The Serpents They Stone.

"Love You to Death" - Type O Negative has been a big one. "Knife Prty" - Deftones "Empire Falls" - Primordial

For Jorm, I have been playing a lot of "Bad Luck" by Aviators & "Perfect" by Miracle of Sound, as they have the BPD vibes that I need (no, it's no coincidence that they're both songs about Jinx from Arcane lmao)

"Army of Me" by Bjork has been a big Wadjet mood song for me! Also "I Wanna Be Adored" by The Stone Roses (giving you four so both can have two :) )

"19. do you plan out your projects? if yes, to what level? how well do you stick to your plans?"

To answer the first question: Yes

The second: I always plot out the beginning, middle and end of the story - I define "three major important pillars", essentially - and I leave everything inbetween to improvise. I'm a mix of the two big writing styles in that way. Most of my outlining goes into characterization and character backstories, as well as extensive worldbuilding and research notes.

To answer the third: Horribly. Not once have any of my books turned out the way I originally envisioned. I always change something midway through and completely rewrite the last act, every goddamn time. I always have to account for my characters having minds of their own :P

I am a mix between estp and an entp and I seriously can’t tell in between on which I classify to so I just consider myself both, im a april aries, I have Virgin black hair, but dyed the front streaks of my hair blonde because I seriously thought it would look good, I intended it to be white but bleaching hair is hard 💀 my hair is a mid length and I have black eyes.

id be the baddest bitch in the room, I’m mostly an intimidating person, I take everything seriously, and if I ask for answers and I don’t get direct ones i always flip off, I’m extremely impulsive and arrogant, maybe a tad manipulative, but I have a soft side <3 and im also quite a loud person and I consider myself humorous and full of life, well most specifically to a few people only. I’m not really an achiever, Im just there to lead people and sometimes observe.

I like to read, books on fantasy and sci fi, watch movies because I literally have nothing else better to do, mostly marvel films, I do archery and writing if im feeling good. I’m not big on inclusion when it comes to hobbies.

as I said I go both ways, but if I’d ended up dating someone they would usually be men. I’m into smart people, people who know what they are doing, people who devote their time into contributing something for the better good of all people, I’m not big on looks but if someone would have asked me if I would prefer brains or brawn’s I would always go with brains, brainy people are sexy, and if the question would be six pack or dad bod, I would go with skinny and scrawny 🤕

Hey! Loved your meta on “Jinx” and was wondering if you have any thoughts on Eddie’s line “don’t worry, he’s next.” He says this on the call with the cat in the tree, and he’s referring to the woman’s husband who is also stuck, but the line always makes me raise my eyebrows bc they cut to Buck climbing up the tree right after Eddie says this, and yeah it’s a funny line, but how necessary was it to include? And he says it in the same ep where he begins dating someone? I find it odd and am curious what you think of it!

I think that this was definitely intentional. I think it played to the theme of "stuck", and I think it was very intentional that we get the shot of Buck climbing up to help the husband who is still stuck with the wife and Eddie turning to look up at them. Then the line "Don't worry, he's next." They absolutely did not need to include that shot or Eddie saying this line. There was nothing "wrong" or "jinx" about it except the husband getting stuck maybe but even then it doesn't seem to carry that type of vibe. Only the "stuck" part.

I think they threw it in there to keep with the theme but also to keep in line with what comes into play later on near the end of the episode and also 4x06's ripple effect in 4x08, 4x12, 4x13, and 4x14. Buck is absolutely related to Eddie needing to move on. Even though it's Bobby who has the talk with Eddie, Buck is very much at the forefront of this episode as well:

it's Buck who mentions Ana in front of the 118 where Eddie gets uncomfortable because Chim, Hen, and Bobby are pushing which prompts Bobby to talk to him later

Buck who is the one who says the line "It's like the universe is screaming at you and you refuse to listen"

Buck who asks Eddie to admit that there is something controlling the things he can't control

Buck who is reading the love languages book

Buck who is on the gurney

Buck who was the one that set off the last jinx unintentionally (since this episode was all about Eddie, even though he didn't set off this jinx, it's interesting that they're making that connection)

Buck who is late to the table for the mac and cheese

Buck who asked Ravi how his first shift went which prompted the Q word and the jinx

Buck who is chasing after the fake firefighter (aka the stand-in for Eddie) stealing the fire engine

Buck who is the one to hesitate before agreeing to breakfast plans with Bobby, Hen, and Chim

Buck who has "upgraded" and ready to look to the future despite Eddie telling him he has the right to take some time to process everything that occurred with his parents

All of it is connected to Buck.

I have to admit, upon first watch, I didn't think anything of this scene. Upon second watch, I kept thinking to myself "holy crap, this scene is so bad, why is Ryan looking everywhere as he does this monologue? It's so bad." Which, I don't think Ryan is a bad actor at all, which is why this surprised me. There was no need for him to keep looking to each member of the 118 as he tries to talk Brian down and into returning the truck. But then when I went back for a third watch, I finally saw why this scene was performed this way, why these shots were kept in.

Not only is this where Eddie makes the decision to move on like Bobby is telling him he needs to, he's letting go of Buck in a way. And it's confirmed by what starts at 1:02 and Buck's reaction afterwards. I don't think Buck knows this is to him or that Eddie's even thinking about him. But the show does choose to keep in the shot of Oliver's reaction after these lines. And the lines themselves absolutely make sense to their story and how Buck has been there since Shannon died (outside of the lawsuit arc): "I just wanted to say thank you for helping us out at the garage fire. I needed your help. We needed your help. You were there." I needed your help -> Eddie needed Buck which was confirmed by Buck realizing this and saying this in 3x09. We needed your help -> Both Eddie and Christopher needed him, which he confirms in that same line from 3x09. You were there -> Buck has been there and continues to be.

"Key the radio so I know you're listening."

So then I understood why Eddie was looking everywhere. Chim and Bobby were the most consistent ones he kept looking to (while Hen was shown once or twice) because:

He's moving on based not only on Bobby's talk with him or what happens with Brian but also because of the scene above. A scene where they don't show Buck's expression again after he gives Eddie his 'sorry, I guess?' look.

And then to further confirm that this was all about Eddie needing to move on from Buck and the role he is fulfilling in his life, they had this scene in the beginning of the episode:

Where we see Eddie probably a little bit annoyed when he looks to Hen and Chim with his little eyeroll, but he entertains Buck and seems just the tiniest bit amused himself. I know a lot of people think Hen is looking to Eddie when Buck says "I'm ready to start thinking about the future" because it's a subtle hint to Buddie and they could be right, but I also think it's because this episode will be about Eddie needing to do the same as Buck, to move on. Eddie literally moved on because Buck was. The minute he moved to 3.0, the pressure was on for Eddie to do the same, to move forward.

Which is why when we go back to the book club scene we have that line from Eddie: "I was wondering why Buck has a book in his hands but now it all makes sense." (typical teasing and bantering that has been the norm for them for the past two seasons) And then Buck follows up with "Eddie, what would you say Ana's love language is?" And of course "Traitor." And also why Eddie is the only one trying to sleep while everyone else is reading learning materials for their futures: "medical, babies, women." And then of course Bobby asking Eddie if he can't sleep due to the jinx and Eddie saying "Or maybe I couldn't sleep because I couldn't sleep." All of it is absolutely connected.

So to answer your question about the cat scene (sorry we took the long way to get here, I tend to do that a lot lol), I think yes that scene is meant to communicate something to the audience. Not only is there a link there that Buck is the only other firefighter we've seen saving a cat from a situation (3x16) but Buck's upgrade is indirectly the catalyst for getting Eddie unstuck. So the fact that Buck is the one climbing the ladder to get the husband, that he's the one who climbs the ladder to get the DJ, that he's the one the girl throws up on when she's free, that he's trying to free the guy in the movie theater. He is who Eddie needs to move on from (the familiar), and he's the one who is pushing for Eddie to move forward (indirectly).

I also don't think it was coincidental that they threw in the octopus or laundromat scenes into this episode. Not only does it connect to the theme of "stuck" but it also shows Eddie from 3x06. Normally, anyone would look at that and think "continuity error" or "they just used the footage they didn't get to last season" but based on the undercurrents of this episode, I don't think it's just that. You can clearly see Eddie's bruise on his arm that Buck asked him about in 3x06. You also see Bobby help the woman out with the octopus "If you relax, it'll let go." Bobby who pushes Eddie later in the episode to move on. And then Bobby and Eddie together free the kid from the washer. All intentional in my personal opinion.

And I also think that while Eddie was reluctant to move on before Buck was, Eddie had more of the means to move on faster than Buck did. Buck was ready but didn't have the means (he hadn't met someone yet, he was working through his issues with his parents). Eddie wasn't ready but the means/an opportunity presented itself (Ana, someone Christopher loves having around) and with a little pushing, he moved on. So I think the whole "Don't worry, he's next" applies to not only Eddie but also Buck himself. I also think it definitely parallels to 4x08 with the gunman on the roof scene (who is clearly a stand-in for Buck) who doesn't want to get down, who cornered himself, who missed the signs. And then it absolutely parallels with Chim and Buck in 4x12 and their convo. When Bobby chooses for Chim to go in the helicopter with Eddie, he says "Cheer up, you can go next time." And then when Buck was rescuing Keisha from the septic tank: "I did say you could go next time." "Not the same, man." So I think it's all very intentional and it absolutely has to do with both of them but also comes into play for Buck himself specifically.

Heyyy! I see a lot of people talking about baneful magic and dark magic and if you should do it, when you should do it, when in your Journey with witchcraft should u do it, and people talk about karma and the three fold law even though not everyone believes those things and it’s a Wiccan belief. I want to learn about baneful magic and dark magic to protect myself and others, everything that I’ve been reading hasn’t been helpful and has created a few anxious questions, like how do I protect myself while performing a hex, curse or jinx, and performing dark magic? Do I even need to protect myself while doing it? How do I figure out if I’ve been hexed cursed or jinxed, how do I fix that? Do I need to “earn” the right to do it? Like what kind of background knowledge to do it? the tone I’ve been seeing in some books, videos, blogs and articles make it out to be a dangerous and bad thing to do. Kinda almost the vibe of dark magic is bad too. Even though you can protect yourself and others with it.. it seems like a good thing to know.. and people talk about love spells and actively give out spells and resources to learn how to do a them, but isn’t a love spell baneful magic because it’s like controlling someone thoughts or emotions? Idk if that’s the right way to put it but ya know...

Magic work is a lot like tending a fire. In general it is safe to do so, but you never want to check out completely or act reckless, because then you can get burnt. Baneful magic is the same way! It's not inherently more dangerous than other types of magic work as long as you're being responsible. P

The potential for blowback could be larger just cause people don't feel motivated to retaliate against blessings, or set up protections against good luck, yk? So protect yourself as you normally would but accounting for the potential for some blowback just in case. But on a base level a spell is just a spell. Hexes and curses are some of the oldest forms of magic there are and imo a lot of the modern-day curse shaming attitudes comes down to an oversaturation of Wiccan content and respectability politics.

If you think you've been hexed, normally you haven't because bad luck is natural and most people don't hex for no reason. But if you're ever worried you can do divination to check or just go ahead and do a curse removing ritual you resonate with.

As for love spells, rituals to MAKE a specific target fall in love with you have fallen out of vogue. (In part because of the consent issues that would create, and in part because spells like that DO work and they DON'T end well. Like ever. They create a fixation/obsession but not a healthy relationship.)

Nothing to say you can't do a spell to attract the type of partner you'd like, open a window of opportunity, or strengthen love with a consenting existing partner though!

Summary | Bucky isn’t interested in his profile so much as he is in the person helping him access his account. A FaceTime leads to a strange text message.

[As of now I am not tagging this as anything but fluff and sarcasm with a little hint of what is to come. It won’t be dark territory but Hydra will make an appearance. This is a bit of a first for me writing so much fluff but it’s pretty fun so far. If you want to be added to the tag list, let me know!]

I cannot for the life of me remember where I got this gif from but I want to give credit so if you know who made it, let me know.

“You can smile, you know. You know how to do that, right? Lift up those luscious lips upward,” Sam urged, holding up the camera once more. “Give us that Kate Moss energy.”

“Who the hell is that?” Bucky’s eyebrows furrowing at the comparison while the camera flash went off.

“Come on man, give me something! You want a profile picture for the ladies that screams I’m available, I’m ready to mingle. You’re giving me stalker vibes.” With a sigh, Sam deleted the image off the camera.

“Maybe this is too much. Do I really need a profile picture? I’ve been doing well without one.”

“Doing well without one? Man, you got like four messages in that inbox and they were all advertisements.”

“How do you know that?”

Bucky had seen Sam over his shoulder when he opened his laptop, still getting used to the notifications that popped up as he tried to navigate this new world of technology.

“Nevermind how I know. You gonna put some effort into it or not?”

Bucky forced a smile, which faded before the camera flashed.

“Damn it, Barnes! Work with me here.”

“I’m trying,” Bucky countered, closing his laptop and trying to look comfortable as Sam snapped another photo.

“How’s that girl you’ve been talking to? From tech support, right? You know that’s only if you need help. Unless you’re trying to make a love connection that way.”

The hesitation did not help Bucky’s case, Sam’s eyebrow lifted so high it looked like it would be there permanently.

“It’s not like that,” he protested, not even believing his own lie. “I locked myself out of the account a day or so again. I really hate these auto generated passwords.”

“You know they’re saved on your phone, right? Between you and Steve, y’all are killing me.”

With a roll of his eyes, Bucky lifted himself from the couch, rolling his shoulders back as he reached for his phone.

“Gotta make a call. You gonna be productive today or just continue roasting me?”

“It’s what I do and yes, I’m gonna be productive. Gonna go head down to the lab to see what Tony’s done to my beloved Redwing if you must know,” Sam replied with a smirk. “Enjoy your phone call.”

You didn’t want to jinx it but you enjoyed the way he always introduced himself when he called, even though you saw his name pop up on the screen. It was the little things - the introduction of who he was, to the small freakouts when someone else was calling and he accidentally hung up on you to the muffled swearing at Sam who would tease him - that made you hate to admit that you maybe, sort of, were developing a crush on this faceless man who was so adorably bad at technology. He’d gotten better, learning how to program your number into his phone and to text.

They weren’t dates - you knew you couldn’t call them that or even describe what it was - but there was a time of day when he would call and just talk. Since you worked from home, you breaks whenever you wanted and you found yourself having a regime, putting aside work to lounge on your couch and listen to him tell you about his day.

Usually after unlocking his account. Today was the fifth attempt in a row to unlock his account.

“You probably think I’m stupid,” he says finally, after a long explanation of his job. Something about extractions and being on a team. “I’d pick a password myself but apparently that’s easier to hack.”

You’ve since given up asking questions and decided he’s an exterminator.

“You’d have to add symbols or random numbers to make it harder for people to hack it,” you suggested, already picturing him making a face.

At least, you would if you knew what he looked like.

This had been going on for weeks now. Your curiosity was getting the better of you and you knew you shouldn’t ask. This poor man had probably believed he had found a friend in you and all you wanted to do was see his face. It was probably the working from home, you decided. It was making you crave human interaction - to see mouths move in real time, noses scrunch at a funny joke, expressions changing within seconds and all the normal human interactions that people had taken for granted before your job had switched to relying on teleconferencing and emails as communication.

“James,” you started, nibbling your lip nervously. “Have you ever FaceTimed?”

“No,” came the reply, bewildered at the question. “What is that?”

Here went nothing.

“It’s a video conferencing app on your phone.”

There was silence on the other end.

“James? Are you there?”

“Video?”

“Yeah,” you continued, cradling the phone against your ear. “You don’t have to if you’re uncomfortable. I just... we’ve been talking for a little while and I wanted to put a face to a name.”

You absentmindedly checked your own hair, hoping you didn’t have bedhead from how you had slept earlier.

“You want to see my face? Why?”

You pulled yourself up to sit forward, trying not to laugh at his worried tone.

“It’s normal? You don’t have to. Like I said, I just wanted to put a name to a face but we don’t have to do that. It’s been nice having some human interaction that doesn’t involve emails.”

“Do I get to see what you look like if I do it?” There was silence and then a small laugh. “That came out as weird as it sounded in my head, didn’t it?”

“You can,” you answered, trying to stifle a laugh. He sounded mortified. “Do you want me to FaceTime you?”

There was a low sigh on the other end.

“Sure.”

You pulled the phone away from your ear, selecting the FaceTime button as the phone warbled for a long moment until it was answered.

You were staring at a pair of black boots.

“James?”

“Hang on a second,” he said, the camera flipping to a handsome face.

Intense blue grey eyes looked back at you, a nervous smile upon a pair of pink lips as the phone panned back to reveal the entire face.

So much for thinking it was an old man. He looked to be your age and a sigh of relief went through you. You weren’t going to admit you had a started to get a little crush but the fact that he was cute made it even better.

“Hi James,” you greeted, suddenly feeling shy. “Welcome to FaceTime.”

He laughed, the sound making your heart flutter and you wanted to kick yourself at the sensation. It was a simple FaceTime, no need for dramatics. You wondered if you really had been that starved of human contact that you found everything he did, right down to nervous movement of his hand sweeping through his hair - adorable.

“There you are,” he said quietly, blinking slowly as he looked at you. “I’m terrified of this thing. Am I being recorded?”

“No. At least, I don’t think so.”

“Well, that’s good I guess. Do people FaceTime often?”

He looked up at something in front of him as he frowned, mouthing something to someone that you couldn’t see.

“Everything okay?”

His eyes snapped back to your view, a sheepish smile appearing across his face.

“Yeah, it’s uh, it’s good. Just dealing with my nosy roommate.”

“That’s okay.” He made a slicing motion with a single finger as he looked above the camera that made you laugh.

“Sorry. He’s a handful. Where were we?”

“We were just taking about FaceTime. Welcome to the world of video conferencing. Scary stuff in these crazy times.”

As he settled back against this couch, you did the same.

“It is nice to see who has been helping me unlock my accounts and who listens to me ramble on about my day. I know you probably have better things to do than listen to me but it’s nice... having someone listen. I should probably get out more.”

A woeful expression flashed across his face before he cleared his throat.

“What about you? Do you get out much?”

“Ah, no. I’m a bit of a homebody myself. Working from home has made me realize that I like people at a distance.”

His head nodded at your comment, as if in full agreement until he nearly dropped the phone, your view of the ceiling apparent before he swore.

“Sorry,” he apologized, his face back in your view. “So I guess dating is out of the question, right?”

You shook your head at his question. It had been ages since you’d been out on a date, let alone wander the city.

“I don’t know. I haven’t really been on a date in a while.”

“You’re in charge of a dating site,” he countered, his eyebrow raising. “You’d think that’d be easy, especially with how beautiful you are.”

Heat rose to your face at his compliment.

“Haven’t had a lot of offers,” you admitted. “And thank you, that’s very sweet of you.”

“No offers? I mean, I could. Offer, that is.” His hand rubbed the back of his neck as he looked away from the camera.

“Offer what?” You knew what he was trying to ask but you wanted to hear the words yourself.

“I’d like to take you on a date, if that isn’t too much with you working from home and all.”

You paused the video, slumping back in your seat.

“Where did you go?”

“Sorry, sorry, I’m here,” you replied, turning the camera back on. “Still here.”

“For a minute I thought you hung up on me like I did to you.”

You both shared a laugh before he trailed off, biting his lip for a moment.

“And yes, I’d love to. Go on a date with you, that is.”

Nothing prepared you for the smile you received on the other end.

“Great. Oh shit, my phone is about to die. Can I call you tomorrow and we can talk details?” His eyes were focused on what you believed was the battery icon, his face disappearing from you as he got up and walked away.

“Sure,” you called out, unsure why you were yelling through the phone.

“I’m still here, looking for the charger. Sam! Where is my charger!”

The FaceTime ended quickly and you laughed. Wherever you went on your date, you’d be sure to teach him how to use his phone.

You pulled yourself up to head to the kitchen, your phone vibrating as a text popped up on the screen from an unknown number.

Always watching.

At the sight of it, you figured it was a prank, swiping it out of existence as you busied yourself with opening the cabinets in search of pasta and a jar of sauce.

But even as you lit the burner on the stove, you were compelled to close the blinds.

It was probably nerves. They always got the best of you.

thank you for gifting me the opportunity to on a tangent and also I'm sorry given this is mostly incoherent because I was too excited to talk about this show.

How long I’ve been in the fandom (if at all): I think it's been like barely two weeks lmao My favorite male character: Silco. He is a menace and awful in so many ways but so beautifully written. I'm over here awaiting more Silco and Vander flashbacks as we speak (i also love vander too--- I basically love or like everyone except for like two people tbH) My favorite female character: JINX, my precious girl. Silco and I are on the same wavelength about her --- she's perfect. 1 OTP: I actually care very little for any of the romantic pairings tbh so I don't have an otp. My brain is all about the other bonds because they're so complicated and beautiful and p a i n f u l. 1 NOTP: J*lco . I don't feel I need to explain why Funniest character: Jinx but like Sevika is underrated. Killing Finn after easily lulling him into a false sense of security whilst scaring the living daylights out of Silco just to keep him humble? Perfectly executed and hilarious. Prettiest character: Mel!! She is just STUNNING. Most annoying character: Mylo or Jayce lmao (Mylo was just annoying on top of being the loudest voice in Jinx's head and Jayce is like that well-intentioned guy that is too oblivious for his own good so he makes bad choices if given the chance and it makes his face very punchable... but I still like him somewhat. It's complicated. ) Most badass character: thiS IS HARD because every fight scene has shown how insanely cool and skilled each fighter is on this show--- and fighters aside, I'm still not over Silco walking into that meeting just to put the fear of him back into them by monologuing whilst they gasped for air. Wait, I just remembered Jinx pulling the same trick on Sevika as Silco did at the meeting and then waving as Sevika passed out and on top of all her cool fights scenes--- I've decided Jinx takes the title. Everything she does is cool albeit terrifying- I may be biased. Character I want as my best friend: Either Jinx, Ekko, or Vi??? I'm leaning towards Ekko (even though I adore Jinx and Vi) because he seems like a really solid friend and pretty grounded compared to everyone else despite what he has gone through as well so I think he'd be a solid bff. Female character I’d marry: see I'd say mel but then idk if I'm willing to put myself on her mom's radar and since that leaves Mel out of it then I can't think of anyone else that either won't end up messy or get me killed. Male character I’d marry: I literally trust none of them to not get me killed, kill me themselves (either accidentally or on purpose), or to not annoy me. Least favorite character: Mylo--- WAIT I TAKE IT BACK, FINN. I hated him. Sevika did everyone a favor. (I apologize to anyone that loves that man-- I simply do not vibe but I'm glad you do and I'm sorry for your loss)

In conclusion, I need season 2 already.

arcane thoroughly destroyed me, like as soon as episode 3 started I was crying nonstop and it really continued through episode 9…. Kind of iconic !! I have so many feelings and I feel like I need to write a dissertation on this show to properly get it out but for now I just,? scream Oh man I feel so bad for everyone in da show.,, and I’ve played league (minimally) but my bf used to be a hardcore player and he knows All The Lore, so I fully knew what was coming for everyone (rip viktor my beloved) but it didn’t make it like, easier? I think for me personally, watching Jinx’s deterioration hurt the most because I *muffled voice* kin her ,, and as like a 14 year old was so obsessed with her story and character lmao , but truly! Everyone made me cry! Everyone and everything! Jinx just made me so sad… not to be like # kinnie or anything but I see a lot of myself in her especially as powder and her in the 2nd act… like !! Wow! I too have been a pretty unstable mentally ill child /teenager with self harming tendencies in a shitty environment with adult presences that were often unhealthy! But it was so hard to watch her as powder feel useless and left out and,, like a jinx,,,, and then the one time she makes a weapon that will 100% work and 100% help, and is so fucking ready to prove herself, and shocker it literally fucks everything up, the situation would've been fine without her, it actually would've been Uh. better, and she's so excited! and then she sees everything she's done and wow there's the start of a lifetime of trauma wow! and oh Vi... Vi is so angry and heart broken and it tore me apart to watch her actively hurt Powder. She almost instantly realizes what she has done, but the damage is done and she doesn't have even a chance to make things right with Powder for another fucking 5 years, and by that time Jinx has been by Silco's side for like Uh 5 whole years, and things have changed... dude jinx's relationship with Silco made me want to cry and scream and shit AAaaA this show is truly so good about showing the sides and motivations of all characters, like obviously Silco is a very fucked up guy who actively harmed both Zaun and Piltover in order to achieve his long-term goal of a sovereign nation of Zaun, and he is ruthless, he threatens and kills and fucking destroys anyone in his way except Jinx, who is like his adoptive daughter... which weird vibes in every way but he LOVES her!

BUT ANYWAYS RIGHT he's evil, but even he is sympathetic ! Like by the end of the show I understood his intentions and felt fucking sad when he died. Maybe sympathetic isn't the right word but it's like... his intentions are at least. I think it's really cool that the show just did a banger job at showing the motivations for every character, even the ones that could so easily be dismissed as pure evil, or portrayed as one sided in like, ... a shittier show lmao
