A feature a lot of people missed in The Quarry (2022) that was in Until Dawn (2015) was the “Relationship Status” and “Character Traits” tab. I decided to fix that and photoshopped (7) of the counselors as according to chapter one (what you would see when first opening their tabs). Obviously they would adjust later on, especially the traits. A lot of time went into making these look as close to the actual UI as possible. These would decrease/increase in accordance to certain choices or story beats to give more weight to choices.

…skipped out on Laura and Max because they only know each other, so their relationship tab would look kinda empty.

What’s your guys favorite part of the quarry’s ending?

I personally like when Laura, Travis, and Ryan came back to the lodge to find Kaitlyn and Dylan sitting on the steps and how Ryan immediately went up to both of them, sat down, and started holding Dylan’s remaining hand. It was nice seeing him ask if this was a good time to give Dylan his number and then seeing Dylan smile. I will say though Emma, Abi, and Jacob searching for Nick after Travis explained the curse and how Nick would be cured now was cute. And Emma holding Abis hand on the way to find Nick since abi was still very shaken up and actually kind of scared to see him again was very sweet. So glad we got actual closure and all this actually happened in the game isn’t that so cool guys!!

another thing i like thinking about is an eventuality where all of the kids are still infected at the end but they manage to also stay alive so they're forced into this pack situation where they can only safely be with each other on full moon nights. they move in together maybe, or they don't but they meet up around each full moon and they hunker down somewhere safe where they won't be doing harm to others (hopefully). they spend the day (or the few days before) getting ready for it together and they form this lifelong camaraderie around their condition, learning to navigate it and cope with it together. some of them fall in love, others stay in love, but each and every one of them finds comfort in the others

a/n - thank you for requesting :D i hope this is what you’re looking for <3 and sorry i clown on him a bit T-T he's fun to make headcanons for

- Nick is absolutely infatuated with you and it shows in how he takes interest in your hobbies. He might not be good at them, but he’ll try his best for you.

- he’s a sucker for hiking dates and really anything to do with the outdoors, but he is horrified by centipedes. Whenever he sees them he jumps and stumbles back a few paces, grabbing onto your arm for stability

- literally the most caring man on planet earth. When you’re sick he’ll drop almost everything to take care of you. He is a bit worried about catching your illness though

- he's surprisingly jumpy and screams like a little girl whenever you shock him, meaning surprise parties are always fun. However, he will ignore you if you do it too much, so use your power sparingly

- he might seem like the typical quiet sleeper, and he is for the most part, but sometimes you wake up and he's half hanging off the bed snoring like a lawnmower

- he genuinely despises any man that gets within six feet of you. He is passive aggressive in the worst way, so you always know when he's jealous

- he adores baby animals and will send you each and every baby animal video he ever sees

- Nick spends FOREVER getting ready. Thirty minutes trying on clothes, an hour freshening up, an hour to prepare food and eat, and another thirty minutes dedicated solely to his hair. You have to beg him to leave the house before he even steps foot outside. You're honestly surprised at this habit because he seems like the type of guy who could roll out of bed and be fresh as a daisy

- he's a total video game tryhard and never just lets you win. He also shoves his victories in your face the minute you get one up on him. He's a hell of a sore loser

- he says the most foul jokes when you're least expecting it. It goes from "who's the hottest in the room? You, of course!" to "what is Moby Dick's dad's name? Papa Boner ;)" in two seconds flat

- his main love language is touch even though he dabbles in everything else from time to time. He loves the subtleties of holding hands, a kiss on the cheek, and cuddling while watching a movie

during the last night at hackett’s quarry summer camp, the kids were all tucked in bed, which meant the counselors had some free time to discuss possible unrequited love.

“just ask them out, dude. i did, and look at where that got me!” jacob gloated unintentionally.

“would emma say the same thing?” dylan rolled his eyes.

“haha, very funny.” jacob replied in a serious tone, looking hurt.

“uhm, i don’t mean to interrupt, but… can we get back to me, please?” nick asked.

“oh, right. just...go for it man. you’ve wanted to for this long. i mean, this is our last night here, so make it count.” dylan advised.

nick listened attentively. he really didn’t want to mess things up with you. especially since he was pining for you. little did he know, you were also getting advice from some “credible” sources as well.

in the lodge...

“i could give him a nudge for you.” emma offered.

“what would you do?” you asked, curious. she gave you a mischievous smile and you already decided that you didn’t want to know anymore. “nope. whatever it is, absolutely not.

“you’re no fun.” emma replied.

“this is getting ridiculous, just ask him out. it’s so painfully obvious that he likes you back.” kaitlyn sighed.

“you don’t know that.” you uttered in a defeated tone.

“uh, yeah. i do. he follows you around like a lost puppy all of the time. it’s pathetic.” she facepalms.

“it’s cute!” emma expresses. “right, ryan?”

ryan gives a thumbs up from across the room. you shake your head in response.

“what would i even say? should i bring a gift?” you asked.

“aw, guys! (y/n)’s head over heels!” emma gives a faux frown and puts her hands to her chest.

“this is sickening. ask him out, or i’ll do it for you. and i won’t hesitate to include every. single. thing you’ve said about him. how you love his hair, his accent, his smile, him in general...”

and before she knew it, you bolted out of the door. you weren’t risking anything.

“wow. that was...wow.” ryan spoke, walking over.

“i know. kaitlyn saved the day! the lovebirds shall never cease!” emma replied.

outside...

“okay, i’ve got it. i’ll ask them out tonight. any idea where they might be?” nick asked.

“no, unfortunately,” dylan spoke. “just go find them.”

“i’m surprised you lasted this long without them, usually you’re following them like you’re glued together.” jacob stated.

nick didn’t respond to his remark, as he knew it was true and his cheeks heated up with embarrassment.

“i’ll be inside the cabin to get my beauty sleep. tell me how it went in the morning, yeah?” dylan commented.

“me too!” jacob waved.

nick nodded at the two and went to go find you. you both had the bright idea of meeting at the rocky road trail, the one you both loved the most.

nick walked from one side while you walked from the other. eventually, you both met in the middle.

“nick, i need to ask you something.” you wasted no time in speaking.

“really? i have something i need to ask you as well.” he chuckled. “uh, you go first, though.” he stammered.

“no you first.”

“no, no, you go first.” he insisted.

“okay, um...will you...” you inhaled then exhaled, and went for it. “will you go out with me?”

you closed your eyes tightly and braced yourself for a rejection.

“that’s....actually what i was gonna ask you.”

your eyes widened. you were expecting anything but that.

“so...since that’s settled...” he rubbed the back of his neck. “can i...maybe, um...kiss you?” his voice got quieter on the last two words.

you cupped his face and brought him in for a kiss that was long overdue. the night went on as you two endlessly blabbered about anything that came to mind.

nick smiled at the fact that he got to leave the trail as your boyfriend.

The counselors bring the kids to the water park. Since one full moon would happen over the course of camp, Chris accounts for this by including a “water park getaway” in the package when parents sign their kids up for summer camp. This way, the counselors and kids would all be safely away from camp.

Nick comes equip with a bunch of snacks and towels and everything the kids would need. Nobody’s focused on his attentiveness to his role as a counselor, though. This is where Dylan and Ryan would get the “steel barbecue grill” thing from. Jacob is having an awakening. Abi’s stunned.
