My gift for Solomon @ the big Touhou discord, as part of an unofficial "Chaos Secret Santa" event we had with other artists.
Some notes:
The font for the golden text is "Yu Gothic" and the font for the red text is "Segoe UI". Both are bold, and have lowered kerning.
The font for the hanzi/kanji is Shippori Mincho. You can find it at Google Fonts. I believe it forms part of the Ming typeface family.
The official logo uses these characters at a roughly 22.5° vertical skew with some additional dashes.

Time for a bit of positivity! We’re coming to the end of 2022. What’s one thing you’re proud of, one thing that makes you smile, and one thing that makes you laugh looking back on the year?
One thing that I’m proud of is that I’m learning to drive. I’m nearing forty and it terrifies me but I need a license if I’m going to get a decent job. A decent job will pay for repairs to the ancestral home, food to put into the fridge, and comfort for my family if/when I can no longer care for them myself. As well, spite is in play–I’ll be so excited to tell people to fuck off if they bug me about having a license once I have one, lol.
One thing that makes me smile is that I made and strengthened so many friendships this year! I met a bunch of awesome “Bob’s Burgers” friends, I kept up with so many “Sailor Moon” friends, I got to see my tangible friends SO much more than in 2021…My family and my friends are really the main reasons that I am who I am so they all make me smile.
One thing that makes me laugh is a convoluted story about rye bread that I can share if anyone cares. However, the end result was a genuinely awesome gift to my brother that he really appreciated. I love when I can get people gifts that they truly need or want.
