you ever realize you never properly learned how to say a character's name, so by the time you finally HEAR it, you have no idea who they're talking about? cause I feel like I keep doing this and it's very confusing to keep being corrected like that
#I have this habit of only reading the first few letters and then completely skimming over the rest of a name#which leads me to just. totally making it up#ko-she-key (koschei from doctor who) and tin-tall-gia (tintaglia from the rain wild chronicles) are my favorite names that I've fucked up#the funniest part is I only sometimes chose to recognize the mistake and fix it#I do not think those two will ever be pronounced correctly.
