50lbs gone :) i feel like you can really see the difference in my upper arms and my sides and armpits. it’s finally showing in a way that i can pick out at a glance 😅 also, switched to my natural hair color! i love the way it looks now! as a kid i hated it but i’m realizing it’s perfect for me :) just noticed the weight loss is definitely there in the chin/jaw as well. damn, y’all. maybe i should pull out that tank top and pants and take the same pic?

Welp, Last three days has been nonstop ice. snow. and sleet. We ended up staying in a hotel (shout out to Holiday Inn, for sure!) and had a nice little snow-cation. 
But then.. I came home to madness lol unpacked and got all situated to work 9-10 hour days the next 3 days annnnd woke up with the worse ear infection. 
Went to the doc and I’m off for the day, starting antibiotics. Apparently I have a chronic eustachian tube problems so, that’s fun. ANYWAY
Stepping on that scale...it about took me out. I have gained an ungodly amount of weight from being hurt. Which speaking of here's a little update with all that, I’ve been in PT 8 weeks and scheduled another 4. I met with a neurosurgeon and he doesn’t think I need surgery at this time! So, that has been exciting! I am healing it’s just a slow process. I did 15 minutes a day on the bike while at the hotel and then spent 5-10 minutes doing my PT stretches. Ugh anyway, It’s a long slow road but better than not walking and surgery so, I will take it. 
Back to wanting to lose another 40-60 lbs :| 
At least this time I know I can do it!

I am so frustrated. For basically for 3 weeks now I have not lost a pound (in fact the scale shows +2lbs right now). I am also now starving all the time. This is very annoying. It's also hard because October/Fall in general is a time where I love to load up on delicious foods because they're in season. I just want some fucking pumpkin pie. I had a 3 month goal of being able to drop a pant size and I'm basically... almost there? I need to lose about 5-6 lbs to really be able to safely go down in a size (I'm not the type of person to sausage myself into a pant size just to say I did it, it really needs to FIT). On top of going to the gym I am trying to walk a ton during the day as well, now that the weather is SO MUCH nicer and cooler. The first day of fall hit and it was magically 10 degrees cooler, amazing.
Losing weight is honestly SUCH a bitch.

Green Tea Catechins Linked To Weight Loss

The performance enhancements were accompanied by increases in fat metabolism-specific enzyme gene expression compared with exercise-only mice . These adaptations were accompanied by augmented β oxidation as well as exercise performance, assessed by time to exhaustion test. Similar results have been demonstrated by others that an increase in fat oxidation was explained by skeletal muscle adaptations . The ability of green tea preparations to help with weight loss has been evaluated in a Cochrane Systematic Review that included 14 RCTs. The results showed that study participants who drank 4 cups of green tea per day experienced significant weight loss. Participants who drank 2 cups of green tea per day or none at all, didn’t experience any significant change. Although the purported anti-obesity effects of green tea supplementation have been examined in clinical trials and meta-analyses, no consensus has emerged due to conflicting results.
