CATCHING MY BREATH, STARING OUT AN OPEN WINDOW

Wayne Howling is based on Wayne from Hotel Transylvania. He is a 54 year old werewolf, data processor, and uses he/him pronouns. He has the power of shifting and super strength. Wayne is portrayed by Timothy Olyphant and he is open.

CATCHING MY DEATH, AND I COULDN’T BE SURE

Wayne thought he'd waited long enough to settle down. Sure, he was only in his twenties by the time he decided to get married and start a family, but werewolf years didn't quite work the same as human years. He'd had plenty of time to enjoy being young and wild with his friends... so he thought. It turned out he might have overestimated himself, but by the time he realized that, he was up to his neck in baby diapers and responsibilities he was less than excited to handle. He and Wanda always wanted a big family, and he couldn't exactly back out three kids in, so the headcount continued to grow and his hair got grayer and grayer. He loved his children, but he missed the days he could have even an hour to himself. He missed date nights with his wife, he missed going to bars and bachelor parties. He missed feeling like his own person. No matter how hard he tried to be grateful for what he had, he felt like he was but a shell of his former self. He just didn't have the energy to spend with all of the kids after long days at the office; he felt like he was neglecting them, he was neglecting his relationship, he was neglecting himself, and he longed for any chance they had to take a vacation at his friend's hotel. Until they wound up stuck in Evermore somehow, which was a whole new pile of stress, finding a place for their large family, a job in his field, losing the only break he ever got. But the town was teaching him something. These days, though he still can't help but feel like half the man he used to be, he can acknowledge being a father is the best thing he's done in life. If only he could show it.

❀ Ming Lee: A much more rigid parent than himself, Wayne knows firsthand how it feels to be overwhelmed by your children no matter how much you love them, and he's been known to go on a rant or two with Ming. ❀ Mike Wazowski: One of his favorite ways to unwind is to go laugh his butt off at The Laugh Floor, and that's where he met Mike. Wayne's considered him one of his best friends ever since. ❀ Mary Sanderson: She is too much of an old soul to be human, but his nose doesn't work like it used to, and he can't sniff out what she is. Whatever it is... he has a feeling it isn't good.

THAT THIS PAIN WOULD BE FOR EVERMORE

[May, 27, She/Her, GMT] is that Isabelle Ariel Ambrose? They bear a striking resemblance to Sydney Sweeney. I heard she is a 24 year old fae who came to the Hotel La Lune 6 months ago seeking safety from her husband-to-be and parents. Word has it they are a mechanical engineer. I guess the locals will have a lot to say about her…

Born to a wealthy and highly esteemed old fae family in the Winter Court and growing in the fae realm, Isabelle had what you might call a sheltered upbringing. One of her parents’ younger children and their only daughter, Isabelle was doted on from the moment she was born. Her parents valued wealth, status and success above all else, and instilled this in their children from a young age. As a teenager Isabelle developed a certain charisma, learning how to use her looks and charm to get what she wanted. Things came easily to her - good grades, lots of friends, fellow fae fawning over her. But she wanted more than just what her looks could offer her - having discovered an early interest in science and mathematics, this was what she quietly focused on, while maintaining the air of someone who took their studies much less seriously. She had it all - the status of popularity and perfect grades. 

In her final year of highschool, her parents announced to her that she was to be married, having promised her to the song of the King and Queen of the Winter court - a young, self-centered and arrogant prince whom Isabelle had had the displeasure of meeting just once before. Her parents were determined for her to go through with the marriage, eager as ever to gain the status that would come with having a princess for a daughter. Always the faithful daughter Isabelle initially agreed, but the night before her wedding, she disappeared out of the realm, fleeing to the human world in the hopes of escaping her marriage. Between her fae charm and natural intelligence, she was quick to be offered a place at Harvard University in Massachusetts to study a degree in mechanical engineering. After finishing her engineering degree with honors, Isabelle moved straight into her masters, whipping through that with what seemed like ease, but all the while the knowledge that her parents and her husband-to-be were likely searching for her weighed heavy on her mind. It all came to a head just as she was nearing the end of her masters, her husband-to-be showing up in the human world and demanding she come home. She was forced to drop out of university just weeks before finishing her masters, fleeing to Hotel La Lune in search of protection. 

That was six months ago, and things have not gotten better for Isabelle. She remains hidden away in Hotel La Lune, reluctant to even venture further out into Calypso Cove despite knowing that the whole area is protected. She waits in fear, certain that either her parents or her husband-to-be will find her and drag her back to the realm, stripping her of everything she has come to know since arriving in the human world.

𝗦𝗨𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧

It’s the start of the summer of 2022, early July and most of the city has gone on holiday either in the countryside or far away. Schools are closed, universities have only opened their doors to the ones who need to finish up classes, and there is a calming easy-going atmosphere to the sunlit streets.

Until the first body turns up.

And then a second.

And a third.

And all the Wolf & Witch families of Fenrir’s Wood return because they know a storm is coming, and they’re the target.

a  small  town  with  a  population  of  less  than  three  thousand,  nestled  comfortably  at  the  foot  of  the  black  mountains  in  north  carolina,  clydesferry  has  always  been  chock  full  of  rumors  and  rot,  the  truth  being  censored  to  be  more  digestible  and  to  protect  the  history  of  the  land  and  the  mountains.  erected  atop  the  converging  ley  lines  that  lead  into  a  hellmouth  at  the  heart  of  the  mountains,  the  town  had  long  since  been  a  point  where  mortals,  myths  and  magic  collided,  and  the  people  of  clydesferry  protect  the  secrets  of  their  town  more  fiercely  than  a  bear  protects  her  cubs,  but  with  so  much  death  plaguing  the  founding  families  since  the  early  2000s  and  with  whispers  of  ghostly  spectres  being  sighted,  the  town  now  plays  host  to  federal  law  and  ghost  hunters  alike  all  while  the  witches  attempt  to  make  peace  with  the  disrupted  energies  that  dwell  within  the  mountain,  yawning  with  hunger.

goryfms  is  a  semi - appless  original  character  roleplay  based  within  the  southern  gothic  subgenre,  drawing  inspiration  from  cult  classics,  pieces  of  media  and  tried  and  tested  tropes  found  in  the  subgenre.

Derry, Maine is a horror themed town rp that takes place in the Stephen King Universe, as such, there will be mentions of hurt, violence, comfort, murder, gore, and the supernatural.

We will be having plot drops periodically to continue the plot of the story, as well as group wide events, tasks, and meme days!

Everyone suspects themselves of at least one of the  cardinal sins, but in Nevada, the worst sins are bound by blood. There  are no second acts in a marked life. Don’t wait until the desert sun  drops over the seven wonders, because there are seven antitheses. Some  will stagger away and others will be buried in the soot of Nevada’s  sage. However, none will be cleaned and none will be laid to rest. Las  Vegas wasn’t built in a day, and every hero and every tragedy has looked  upon their their reflection in gold. Will you choose sin or sage?

NEVER NEVADA HQ is an semi-appless crime role-play set in the Las Vegas, NV where four  crime organizations pull the strings in the shadows of where your fantasy begins and ends in the sin city. With muses who take on roles with the darker elements of affiliation, we lay our scene in the midst of disgruntled organizations and loyalties where you have to choose between family, morality, and desire to achieve what you want and what you need. All muses are encouraged to have their own specialty, creating the opportunity for clash and bond, rejection and promise in a  world where self preservation is the true battle under it all.

Since the summer of 2022, FENRIR’S WOOD, a small city in the UK has been plagued with mystery. First the four murders during the summer, then the ominous dreams keeping seven Witches from sleeping, after that the five who went to sleep without waking, and now three students who disappeared into the woods.

To most, these were just coincidences, but those who already questioned the city’s secrets began to look more careful, and found the evidence clearly pointing towards the Supernatural.

To the WereWolf families of FENRIR’S WOOD everything points to the greatest challenge they’ve had to deal with: protecting their secret from an unseen enemy.

Yet a warning is etched through-out the city.
