Hey, today I figured I would switch things up a little bit and talk about the other star of the show Ollie’s sister Rue. Rue is nine years old. She is a pitbull. She is very loving and smart. In her heart and mind she believes she’s a small dog but in reality she’s not. Great with any person or animal she is around with. Can be a goofball at times but not like Ollie. Loves to play in the water. She came from North Carolina. She was the first puppy to come to my mom and I when my mom asked if she was a female the guy said yes and right then we knew she was for us. That’s just a little bit of my other baby in my life and I hope y’all have a great day!

I don’t typically refer to my dogs as “Pit Bulls” because something as simple as a label like that can cause them to be discriminated against. My dogs are dogs and whatever “breed” or mix thereof really shouldn’t matter, but unfortunately sometimes it does. There are some locations that will take your well behaved, family dog right out of your home because they’ve been so wrongly mischaracterized. Some insurance companies will refuse to cover you if you have dogs like mine. It happened to me when I bought my house! What did my dogs do wrong? Nothing at all. It had nothing to do with their character or their sweet little souls and everything to do with their appearance. I was told (verbatim), “Just get rid of her, people do it all the time.” (I only had Blueberry at that time) Isn’t that ridiculous?! THIS dog?! Of course I didn’t listen. I dropped those ignorant fools and adopted another “Pit Bull” type dog instead! 🙌🏻 Breed Specific Legislation destroys families and punishes innocent dogs for something they’ve never even done.
