Against my better judgement, I am back on my bullshit.

#my succulents #after months and months and months of being mentally unable to take care of my plants i suddenly had a surge of motivation #only one(1) plant survived #kinda poetic that it was the first plant i ever bought #i had to trim her down a fuck ton tho bc she was heavily growing on one side in a desperate search for more light #so all the trimmings used to be part of the one #i also kept all the leaves that fell while trimming in hopes that maybe some more will come of em #although i'll most likely gift them to other people bc i am going to try and take this as slow as i can #the star child speaks

Some more pictures of my plants! Today I re-potted a bunch more, some were in real need of a little maintenance ^_^

this one over here I put a bunch more variety of succulents together, and I added a little porcelain house I had around, made a little path made of broken roof tiles that we had scattered around.

here’s a shelf we have with different plants, here’s from top to bottom:

and in the ground there it was this round big pot, we weren’t really using it with anything, so I grabbed a bunch of left over succulents and buds that used to be on other pots or too tight with their previous pot and put them here

also made a little decoration with rocks and again, broken roof tile things.

Lesson Learned

I need to pay attention when I get plants from big box stores.

Me and my fiancé got a little hang pot of miscellaneous succulents. Now I didn’t know much about succulents at that time. I made the mistake of not checking the actual pot and should have took into consideration on how tf the soil didn’t seep through the basket itself.

What it ended up being was a basket with a plastic lining that was tied to the basket itself. Well if you’re a succulent grower you would know the issue right away, but I didn’t. I realized that the soil never will properly drain and can lead to rotting and leaf drop. I thought I completely killed it(honestly probably did, let me know).

I finally got around to reporting these guys and I am hopeful. I hope they can bounce back!

Goooood morning, the SUCCULENT Kickstarter is LIVE! 🌵🪷🌵

I had an absolute blast co-editing this anthology of twelve sexy, trans-inclusive sapphic comics. @discordcomics and Ollie Hicks and I spent the last year working with an outstanding lineup of writers and artists to put this 200 page book together-- these comics are hot, humid, dirty and FUN.

Roots Were Grown ~ An Update on my plants

Format is Picture(s) Above Description ❤️

My newest Plant, My Monstera Deliciosa. Hoping it forgives me for cutting it up and propagating. Trying to make room for a moss pole

My Golden Pothos, a bit dormant. But I will fix that.

My Pothos Clipping! This is an experiment. I want to see how large I can get this with an all water base. So far a water root shot out and we now have a new leaf forming! I’m so happy

My last survivor of my Succulents I’ve covered before. The elephant bush died out. But new growth! And new death, couple aren’t doing well but I was expecting that.

Snake plant is repotted and I separated one for a new plant. Might have to trim the newly separated one or figure out why it’s bending.

My ZZ Plant and a clipping of it. Want to see how long it takes for it to grow a new rhizome via water base. Hopefully I’ll have a baby ZZ in the future (anyone have a ZZ Raven clipping I can have? 🥺)

That’s all for updates! Next update we will see how my Monstera and all my propagates do! Hopefully you’ll see some seedlings I have germinating ;)
