finally made legible l-564 captain refs—click images for marginally higher quality. scar chart + misc notes are under the cut:

hairstyles in lor have significant changes and more creative liberties mostly because i just wanted to make them cute + also they’re a good marker for character vibes. for example — archer has a few hairstyles but the buns pictured above are directly inspired from el’s lil sidebun since they used to be in the info dept together :) yay

i could write a dissertation on the scars situation for each captain but TLDR they're prone to wounding each other, if one of them panicked then i’d send another captain to deal with em if they had a white dmg weapon. some scars are from abnos back when they were inexperienced. notably rino is just chillin' because they’re generally skilled enough to avoid getting injured and they only have like. a notable scar on their back. #builtdifferent

the real ones will know i enjoy drawing them in the lor outfits more but lc-era is added for posterity. god yui looks so dumb. helppppp i hope she dies

Ok so working on my Oirat OC (I'm making a separate Oirat and Kalmykia OC) and hmm his relationship with Mongolia during the Mongol Empire would be kind of like. Boss-Employee but toxic working culture DIISSAIK they're related in a sense that they're both Mongolic but Mongolia is not the reason why he exists, Oirats are a Mongolic people that the Mongol Empire took under their wing but Oirats did challenge the Chinggisid Mongols authority

Reading a book. It’s said that a united Mongol tribe already existed somewhere between 1050-1100, ruled by Qaidu, who was the great-grandson of Bodonchar who founded the Borjigin clan. So how old is actually Mongolia? While Mongols (as actual people, not the proto-Mongolic tribes) were first recorded the texts of Tang Dynasty in 9th century. Hmmmmmmmm

Yes, it is what you think. Mi chan is going to wear a familiar dress for the Hammerlocke comic.

I want to give him a headcanon that Mi chan wants to try this dress now that he tried other outfits in my timeline. xD

As for Zai, her mint dress is what she wears that actually fits her in the event. The white/pink one next to it is a dress she tried on but didn't fit her.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
