my opinions about pjo cause i’ve been wanting to do this for a while!

some people really only like nico cause he’s gay and written as actively depressed, something gen z romanticizes.

campers are a lot more scared of percy than nico once it gets out that percy can bloodbend. doesn’t matter if he’s a nice dude, scare him and you could possibly die.

leo is actually a lot more dangerous than you think. yes, he’s a jokester but he has like NO control over his powers. a camper could be joking with him but he gets too excited and some part of his body bursts into flames.

people are cautious around piper cause she can literally make them do whatever she wants. and there’s no doubt some of them are traumatized so i don’t think she would be the most popular aphrodite kid. popular, sure, but not what rick makes it out to be in tlh.

apollo kids are a lot more powerful than people/gods give them credit for.

the apollo, hermes, and dionysus campers often have meetings to prank the entire camp.

Which, while using the exact same terms as the Empires Metric System (EMS) used by every other Empire, is still different.

1 inch in SIS is the equivalent of 0.53 inches in EMS.

So, while in SIS Joel is 132 inches tall, or 11ft...

In EMS, he is 70 inches tall. Or 5'8".

last statement cause i lurked which was dumb nothing new was read, but i'm say this. yoonie is a 🦝 for siding with a racist ass, race faking white person and never condemning them for making other black people uncomfortable in his discord. Gaslighting me in the dms by blaming me for his contentiously harassment, ignoring why I was uncomfortable, causing minors to be getting slurs in their inbox and causing people in the discord and him mental anguish for talking about how i was uncomfortable with a person. mind you this nigga kept this person around around unil they left or something. i am not sure, i could be very wrong but they didn't kick them from my knowledge. i had alot in my inbox and school and wasn't reading everything he was saying on his blog. Yes, actually, many times.

Like, the major catalyst for me no longer caring about Payday's lore--and I mean to the point where I didn't care about what happened in the story and I never bothered to do a deep dive into anything or even speculate anymore--was when my buddy, Wolfee, went AWOL after the first Dentist trailer dropped. He was gone for a little over 2 months, 'cause his parents took all of his tech stuff: phone, tablet, laptop, et cetera. So, I really had no one to gush about shit with for a long while.

Then OVERKILL became progressively more... OVERKILL. And I mean more like current day OVERKILL, 'cause they used to be different when Ulf was there. They had a lot of missteps where they were outright rude to their fanbase, made a lot of stupid financial decisions (thanks a lot, Bo), and have just gone in a weird direction with their game overall. PAYDAY 2 has felt... strange, ever since Ulf left, and even more so with Simon having walked away.

And, ya know, with all the damn DLC, it's been really easy to get burnt out on PAYDAY. Especially when you're one of the older fans, where you gotta see all this new, weird shit come out and just be like, "Huh?" all the damn time. It's tiring, but I'm still here.

Not gonna lie, it's mostly just 'cause I'm used to doing this. I've been PAYDAY blogging since January 28, 2014, so I've dedicated almost ten damn years of my life to these games. I have seen so much shit happen in this fandom that'd it'd take me weeks to list 'em all. I've met a few of the big players, some of the moderators and old time modders, and quite a few of the people who've made something for OVERKILL to use in their promotions and things. I know so many random tidbits about the games and the characters and the lore and the company and the fans that I'm practically an encyclopedia of knowledge for almost everything PAYDAY-related.

And through it all, the moments of distaste and distrust in OVERKILL, the loss of friends as they drifted away to other interests, the ever-shifting nature of the games into something weirder held together with spit and duct tape, the overflow of content, and the base confusion that I feel with a game I barely recognize anymore, I have remained.

I'm a dinosaur in this fandom, as has been pointed out to me many times. I have my moments where I'm a jaded, crotchety, cane shaking, old man, but I still love this game and its fandom. I may do this mostly out of routine, but another part of me does it out of thankfulness and love. PAYDAY set me on a path that allowed me to meet so many interesting people and do a lot of cool things.

It came at the right time in my life to save me, and I am forever grateful to it for that, even if I do have my issues with it. So, I shall remain here, ever faithfully cataloguing PAYDAY stuff and guiding anyone who asks me for advice. For, after all, I am the Torchbearer of this fandom. XD

Horobi + Delmo: It's basically the "I don't know how I ended up here, but here I am" situation of friends. But because Delmo is close to Naki, Horobi ends up kind of being invited into this circle. Delmo is this ray of sunshine that Horobi isn't sure how to handle half of the time but simply enjoys her boundless energy and her confidence to do something good in the world. She also helps bring him out of his shell via literally dragging him out to shop with her. If there's negative press about it, Delmo flies into this rage and Horobi is honestly considering signing adoption papers for her. In fact, Delmo was one of the prime influences on Horobi learning how to knit.

Horobi + Yua: Again, because Horobi spends a lot of time with Naki, he ends up becoming friends with Yua though even the word "friend" is loose and it's more so...work buddies? He's not as close with her compared to Naki but Horobi merely finds her fascinating. He is content to watch her work and how she interacts with people and sure there is tension between them but they're working past it. Working with humans is daunting and while he hasn't worked up the courage to fully be able to talk to Aruto juuust yet, Yua is this nice medium because she gives him heartfelt advice on how to go about the world.

Naki + Yua: Obviously going to be put on here but these two very much work well together and are often found walking to and from work together. They are comfortable in silence but there are other times when they will chat about things at work or things outside of work. Naki is often found going with Yua to amusement parks because they can handle her maniac energy sometimes. But really, they simply enjoy each other's quiet presence. They're both pretty introverted so sometimes they spend a night at Yua's house, watching movies or documentaries together, watching Yua cook, and they're just comfy around each other and sometimes that's all you need.

Naki + Isamu: Another no-brainer due to the situation between the two. If Yua is this calm yet whack ass presence, Naki and Isamu together is basically Naki holding on to a feral dog's leash and being the only one allowed to pet it. These two had a lot of healing to do before they were able to properly talk together in a positive context but now Naki just likes sending Isamu stupid little puns and jokes just to make him laugh. It makes them laugh inwardly as well. They're the kind of friends that crash at each other's place because they were bored and had nothing else to do and Naki likes Isamu's emotional whack-ass sometimes. Isamu also gave them ideas for the punishment wheel for the Metsuboujinrai game and actually, these two play games together often. They're both highly competitive.

Jin + Aruto: Next to Ikazuchi, Jin is the one of the only members of MBJR that visits Hiden often. He's gotten along with Aruto since all of this shit had ended and he doesn't...um...use the door half of the time. He just flies up to Aruto's roof top and gives him a call, or just bang on his office window like, "LET ME IN!!!!" and then tumbles into his office. These two just talk about anything and everything, and he brings Aruto food more often than not. Sure he may not fully understand all of Aruto's jokes but he thinks they're cutely funny. While it is true that Jin is kind of the bridge to mend the relationship between Aruto and Horobi, Jin simply enjoys the same bouts of energy Aruto gives off. They often are found going out on adventures, checking up on Humagears, patrolling, etc.

Jin + Izu: Since regaining her Singularity, Izu and Jin have hung around one another just as often as Aruto and Jin. It's similar to a sibling-like relationship since Izu did consider Was Nazotoku as a brother and Jin's eccentrics slightly reminds her of him...it's like finding a home again. He was very eager to get to know her despite what happened between them and while Izu is still rough around the edges and kind of stiff, she has come to value Jin as a brother-like figure and has been found joining him on patrols and giving him advice on how to better interact with humans. In return, Jin often takes Izu flying and has taught her how to defend herself outside of the Zero Two suit since uh...she...uh...has a lack of danger in herself. He reminds her that she's important to many people and must take care of herself, and she reminds him ofo the same.

Ikazuchi + Aruto: As stated before, Ikazuchi has the most positive relationship with Aruto next to Jin, but perhaps has a better relationship with Aruto than the other does with the president. Sometimes you can hear Aruto accidentally slip out "Aniki!" whenever they see each other. This only triggers his brotherly instincts further and he just laughs, teasing the president but really he basically signed the adoption papers. These two often go out riding on their bikes just around the city together, or walk around the city in a very loose sort of "patrol" but more so to relax. Ikazuchi does worry that Aruto is overworking himself and Aruto worries about the general well-being of the other. Aruto is always ready to help tune him up too.

Ikazuchi + Isamu: These two share one fucking brain cell, and it dangles right above their shared heads, completely out of reach. It's like they both lose it whenever they're together. They bicker and argue but immediately will jump to each other's defense if someone else is picking on them. They're homies who are simply comfy with picking on each other but also getting real with one another over like a cup of beer. Hot-headed as the two are, they make bets with one another over the dumbest shit but there are times when they're not at each other's throats. They're just content to laze around Isamu's apartment, him drinking a beer and Ikazuchi surfing through the channels, each of them talking about their day and asshats and joking that they should totally slash their tires. Also do not let them go to an arcade together. A machine is going to break.

ppl on here and on twitter got really weird about the ear flicking scene. kind of disregarding that shiv was acting like a 6 yr old and then that he retaliated also like a 6 yr old. we actually have no idea what their dynamic was like before the events of the show and i think this was a peek into that. shiv is a little mean to him and he’s a little mean back but his type of mean is very weird (barnacle??) and that weirdness itself might have been intriguing to shiv at some point. her own little meow meow who makes really weird comparisons and references to things she’s never heard of or cared about.

also I hate conservatism in both economic and social praxis and I think marxism has a huge influence over 2nd wave feminism in America and radical feminism all over the world, and idek How ladies get into "radical feminism" without realizing that conservative goals are Directly opposed to feminist goals. The only thing modern conservatives and radical feminists have in common is believing that people are the sex that they are born with, and the resemblance ends there.

Uhm….what brought this on??? I’m assuming it was an old post of mine with personal dislikes of some of Gen 3’s design choices im mostly over now or this was sent to the wrong person, but uh anon that’s just straight up not true.

I also assume this is referring to the rumour from awhile ago that gen3 Frankie couldn’t have green skin or neck bolts because of lawsuit potential from Universal but if that was the case wouldn’t that mean Mattel would be facing potential lawsuits from Universal for making Any new Gen1 Frankie dolls????? So logically none of the Skullector Frankie’s should exist, nor should any potential rereleases of old Frankie correct??? If Mattel needed a contract with Universal to continue to produce Gen1 style Frankie’s why not expand it to cover Gen3????

Gen3 Monster High has changed up the skin tones just because the designers wanted to. Partially to differentiate them more from Gen1 probably, but also clearly because the designers wanted to. Both Deuce and Lagoona had their skin tones changed fairly late (most prototype Lagoona designs were still blue, and you can see glimpses of white skin tone Deuce in Cleo’s music video and I think the fear book in the opening) Gen3 has also dropped the “Children of Legendary Monsters” aspect. Aside from Draculaura and Deuce no one else has notable parents (you can correct me if I’m wrong here, im not watching the show I only really care about the dolls tbh) so gen3 Frankie isn’t Frankensteins child anymore, they’re just a simulacrum (frankenmonster on the box) made by scientists.

You’re allowed to have your opinions and I’m allowed to have mine, I don’t hate Gen3 Frankie, and I did realize bolts were incorporated into their design on the knee of their artificial leg
