Ok so I tried to read Deleantur verse like a year or two ago? It was a while ago, at least. I never finished it? I guess I wasn't in the right head space at the time. Still works out though, because I binge read the whole series in one day and fell in love with it.

The first fic is just ahhhh the angst and sort of found family vibes even if they are actually family, and healing and I just want to hug the fic tightly.

And then this ongoing fic is just perfection. How healing isn't a one shot thing, Deleantur trying to find a place in this new world while feeling a bit out of sorts/left behind/unmoored because his brothers are growing into their own person and have their own lives, and he's just, stuck.

He goes to Galahd and it's just hilarious misunderstandings and everyone is so confused, even him. I love the scene where he and Stella are dancing, it's just so fluffy and sweet, and he laughed! And then the last chapter with him taking on the role of king and leader once more because it's a duty and Noctis knows far more than most what it's like to have a duty and to be the one people look towards. But in Stella's pov, this is her husband, and she's allowed to be selfish on his behalf, because she can see how taking on this heavy mantle once more hurts him, and she wants to say no, to stop this whole thing, but she's the eldest child of the clan head, and she knows duty too. Just *chef's kiss*

I'm looking forward to see where it goes next!
