🚨🚨 ** URGENT ** 🚨🚨

so I’ve gotten sick, making it even more difficult to come up with the $60 almost $70 a day (or $250 for a full week) we need to be able to keep our room at the cheapest motel in our area, let alone for us to afford anything else given our food stamps have run out until the 8th of september. given our physical conditions and the weather, if we were to be without shelter and on the street we would end up seriously ill and/or dead fairly quickly, and thats saying nothing of our mental states as is.

we have been through so much just the past 2-3 months, let alone the last year, and for anyone not familiar with our situation there are previous posts detailing much of it on my blog. that being said, if anyone can afford to help at all we sincerely appreciate any little bit of support and we want to thank everyone that’s helped us even the slightest amount throughout this. solidarity forever ❤️🖤

I am about to get out of the town I live in with a horrible rising cost of living, but I still have until the end of November. An expense came up and cleared out my bank account just a day after I got paid. I am disabled (fibromyalgia) and autistic, and I just need to make sure I can get through the next month and a half with enough food. I already have a hard time with food, (ARFID) and not being able to afford safe foods puts a huge strain on my mental and physical health. If you have anything to spare, I would appreciate it so so much.

My local queer bookstore is being threatened with eviction over their free narcan and fentanyl test strips, free store for the unhoused, and free narcan trainings.

Bluestockings is an incredible worker-owned community space that has been apart of the Lower East Side for 25 years. But in the last couple years, they've faced increasing harassment from the wealthier neighbors moving in and complaining about the presence of unhoused people around their store front. Despite all their community work being allowed by their lease, the landlord is pushing for an eviction.

Please help support Bluestockings! Visit them (if you're local), order books online, donate! We need more queer and community-oriented spaces, not another overpriced coffee shop or chain franchise.

my friend harmony is a disabled trans lesbian who has been homeless for almost two months now , relying solely on the kindness of strangers to make ends meet . after all this time , she’s finally caught a break – her cousin has extended an invitation to live with her and has offered to help her get a job at her place of work . this is absolutely fantastic news and i’m so so excited for harmony to get back on her feet !!

the only issue is that her cousin lives roughly 2000 miles across the country . harmony is ready to go whenever , she just needs a little more help: she’s disabled and cannot drive for super long periods of time , so she will need to stop and stay at a hotel a few times along the way ( ~$200 ) . she also needs gas to fill up her tank ( ~$250 ) and food to eat ( ~$50 ) .

all together , she only needs about $500 to make this trip . if you can spare anything at all , please send a few dollars her way ! i know we’re all struggling , so if you can’t afford to help monetarily , please boost this post !! harmony is so so close to finally being in a stable situation again . thank you for reading !!!

so two nights ago I hurt my already once-rebuilt ankle, the one that has 14 screws and a foot-long metal plate in it and a persistent infection, and havent been able to walk much and when i do i have to use a cane or else its unbearable. if anyone can help us not end up on the street without any place to sleep safely or rest / help us keep a motel room it would mean a lot and spare us a much more miserable daily life than we already have.. thank you. ❤️🖤 solidarity forever.

Homeless LGBT Couple Needs Help!

Hello everyone.

My partner and I have been homeless for a bit and we recently had to move cities after losing employment. We have been struggling to keep sheltered as the weather gets colder and wetter and, with me being increasingly ill, we need all the help we can get to meet our basic needs. So I can't edit this to show what it is exactly, but I basically just got shamed by a Facebook "friend" for offering to share this link to get laundry supplies for my birthday. So now I'm miserable and that wasn't what I'd wanted to happen at all.

So if anyone would like to cheer me up, this is my family's Homeless Supplies list. I need as much of the laundry and disinfectant stuff as I can get. Clothes for me (or even my mom, because she still needs pants) would be a huge help, as I lost 40 pounds last year and most of my stuff is too big or it's full of holes. Food is much appreciated by all three of us.

Can't help? Reblog. Don't care/don't want to help? Don't be an asshole about it. Just ignore me or block me or whatever. But I am thankful to everyone who has helped, everyone who continues to help us, and everyone who is inspired to help. It's basically a waiting game with disability at this point for us to get housing, so all I can do is wait and hope.
