So im doing a bucket full of research of mutal aid programs and ideas for Reaping week
And over the course of this I've ended up digging into the black panthers movement programs and here's a small list from the index of the book I'm reading
But also like?? There's something about the phrase "Survival pending revolution" that just hits in a a really cathartic way.
When we talk about needing to tear down the system but that ppl still need it to survive and a lot of those systems are baked into Capitalism and will need to be rebuilt from the ground up I think that's a really good way to phrase things like Community Fridges and little pantries and clothing drives.
They are programs for survival until we fix it.

I'm an autistic trans woman currently homeless in Kentucky and I have a week left to stay where I am. I regularly hallucinate in my daily life, including frequent hallucinations that I am covered in bugs. My family only yells at me to find work, which is simply not possible when I am homeless, because I have no address. I've been paying for a therapist, who now insists that I medically suppress my system, which is out of the question. I get a little work writing but it's not enough, and my family thinks it's fake because it's not full-time hourly labor. I have no path forward. I'll be on the street soon. My friend has advised I make a donation post. Please help me if you can.

You know what fucking sucks? I'm a teenager. There are so many shitty things in this world that I can't do jack shit about because I'm old enough. And even if someone is old enough to do things, they often don't or can't. No matter what I do I can't fix the problems I've been forced to confront, and it seems like a lot of people cope with this by pretending said problems don't exist. I can't do anything major because I am a teen, and people older than me, even if they have the ability to make change, don't. I'm not asking middle aged moms to solve homelessness, I'm begging my mom to sign up for volunteer work that you have to be at least 21 for. I'm begging people to donate money to causes because I can't. I'm begging people to at least acknowledge the issues that we all face, but that's too much for a lot of people. One of my biggest fears is that I will grow up and have the chance to do something, but I don't. I'm so fucking tired of this shit world I was forced into.
Didn't mean for this to turn into a rant, but it kinda ended up being one anyway.
Tl;Dr: if you have the means to help, even in a small way, you should take it.

Hi friends. As you may have seen I lost my job in February at my office which was a super toxic and unsafe situation for me.
I have since applied to over 200 positions in my field and haven't heard back from any of them. I'm in a really tough position this month and I'm asking for financial support if you have anything to spare. I hate to do this but I have exhausted my savings and I'm looking for a job while taking classes and it's all just a lot to manage. I have some expensive prescriptions and no insurance and not really anywhere else to turn.

Please Help
Hi I'm Danny. I'm queer, mentally ill and disabled. Me and my partner could really use some help with food, gas money, and getting caught up on bills.
Recently I've lost my SNAP benefits and Medicaid so it's fallen on my partner, Noelle, to have to pay more as I try to get them back.
In July, my partner also had uterine cancer and had to have 2 different surgeries which her sick leave and PTO didn't cover all of the time she needed off for the surgeries themselves and her recovery. Soon after her mom, who lives with us, was in and out of the hospital and ended up losing her job because of it. It turned out she has lymphoma cancer and is currently being treated in a hospital an hour away and it is getting harder to see her as often as we need to with the price of gas what it is. My partner also just lost her job because she needed to prioritize her mom.
Please, if you can spare anything at all, we'd be grateful. Anything will help. Thank you 💙

Kitty needs ear meds for her ear infections!
Last night we found out Kabuki's right ear canal is shut and sore!
I found out last night that you can get pretty good OTC medication for infections in cats but if that doesn't work we will be taking her to the vet.
We are still recovering from being laid off and are low on funds as of this moment and only need $50.

Please help my Trans friend, B, get her car back!!
The dealership she got her used car from a few months ago just let her know that she actually owed more than what she thought for each payment and towed her car. (supposedly they tried to contact her about it but she never got the letter)
She had to raise $3000 in two weeks and she still needs $1000 in the next few days just to get her car back. That's not including the insurance she'll have to get put back on it and the fee they're charging her for the tow truck, but right now we're just focusing on getting that $1000 to get the car back.

Due to the mistreatment of my dog by his previous owners he needs surgery. I've spent about 8 000kr (roughly $800) on him so far getting him to just this state. The vet estimates about $500 for the surgery, could be less or more depending on how bad it is when they get in there
He really needs this surgery, so if anyone is willing to commission me I'd super appreciate it.

EMERGENCY FUND RISING - NEED TO GET A NEW RENTAL
Okay some of you may remember a little bit ago I post up a now deleted donation post (I thought the issue was over so took it down so new people won’t worry) that me family are living in a apartment that isn’t safe and that we needed to pay rent so we could focus on trying to move, while the danger has became much more clear and we need to leave this month.
So now we need to rise money for a few things:
The first month of rent (& honestly given the amount of shit that has went down this month having a second month’s rent would be extremely helpful) (Right now we are still looking for a place but the rent is likely to not be lower than 1000 at best)
A damage deposit (We are unlikely to get the one for this place back)
Food & other expenses, right now we don’t have much even for day to life let alone moving, it’s likely we’re gonna need to rent somewhere to put some of our extra stuff & it’s likely other costs will come up.
Me and my family are all disabled and cannot find work that pays fast enough for this problem or can’t work, we are all abuse survivors and have had very bad encounters with the system so we can’t go to them for help.
If we cannot rise money for all of this it is likely we will become homeless for a time, we’re hoping if t comes to that it’d only be for a few months but there is no guarantee.
Which brings us to here, any donation no matter how small and any reblog or sharing of this you can would mean the world to us.
