Are there any fans of Yuri!!! on Ice and/or figure skating on Mastodon who would like to become mutuals?
After one year with my current account, I'm fed up with the Birdsite as the algorithm fucks over new a/o accounts, and since the takeover things only went downhill. For someone who was looking forward to meaningful conversations with fellow fans, this is quite a bummer.
Unlike Twitter, Mastodon doesn't use algorithms to curb reach or clutter your feed with posts from people you don't even follow, and it encourages meaningful exchange. Imho this makes it a great platform for everyone who's tired of bs like fandom wars or just being invisible to their followers.
