Bud Light Lager - Discover the alcohol content of SH’s favourite light beer, Bud Light contains 4.2% ABV in a 16 oz serving. SH should probably know that drinking and driving is wrong and that it costs numerous lives across Florida and the rest of the United States every year.
Regular beer has about five per cent alcohol. Its standardized drink size is 12 fluid ounces. Examples include Budweiser and Miller High Life. Light beer may be light in calories but not in alcohol content. However, even if you have consumed less than the recommended he should not drive if you feel intoxicated.

He arrived a little early to celebrate National Key Lime Pie Day – which is on September 26, 2023. I thought the drink paired well with Key lime pie is a sweet, bubbly wine like Muscat. The sweetness of the wine will soften the tartness of the pie filling, making for a refreshing blend of sugar and acidity, but not combined with a beer 🤮

Jester King's 2018 Spon Muscat (Thanks, Ian!). A 4 of 4. Great funk in the nose -- lots of barnyard and quite a bit of grape sweetness, too. The body has a nice tartness and heft to it with a dry and acidic finish and some nice barrel notes, too. Really excellent stuff -- restrained, complex, and on par with some of the best of the best

Hello :) For the ask meme then:
27. have you ever owned a lava lamp?
47. favorite kind of fruit snack?
Thanks for asking!
No, I have never owned a lava lamp. I think I'm just a bit too young for their first appearance, and just a bit too old for their revival.
I love all kinds of fruit, and try to have them on hand for snacking! Right now in (almost-) winter, it's grapes, oranges, mandarins, and apples. Though I gotta be careful with the apples; I'm allergic to most. I will eat only organic Topaz apples - no allergic reaction, and they taste lovely, tart and juicy! I'm equally discerning with grapes, though not because of allergies, simply Bec of flavour. I love green muscat grapes (big belly full of seeds, but lovely flavor), but they're getting harder and harder to find! I don't mind the seeds, I just swallow them. I do try not to bite down on them. We also have a grape vine in our back yard, and it's starting to carry!
In spring, I cannot get enough of strawberries. I'll easily eat half a pound a day. I love raspberries too, and peaches and nectarines and apricots in summer - though it can be hard to find ones that taste good. Out of all of these, I couldn't say I have a favorite - one, all of them are seasonal, and two, all of them are good. Maaaayybe strawberries by a tiny margin?
As for processed fruit snacks (like dried fruit) or fruit-flavored snacks, nah, only in emergencies.
Thanks again, and if anyone else wants to ask me stuff, here's the question post!

28/11/2023 - Dinner
Lola's, Kovan
Cafe charges GST and service charge but they are not reflected in the prices here
🥓🍄🍝 Bacon and Mushroom Truffle Cream Linguine ($18)
Truffle smells was wafting from this! Very creamy and enjoyable, lots of mushrooms.
🐷 Pork Collar with Barley Risotto ($20)
Grilled BBQ glazed pork collar. Kind of tough. Didn't really enjoy this dish. There was also a very very small bit of fried kale.
🐓🍗 Half Roast Chicken with Cider Jus ($26)
1/2 chicken, large serving but slightly dry. Skin was tasty though. Comes with truffle mashed potatoes (the bombz), some maple miso brussel sprouts, a little bit of fried kale and pickled pomegranate. Nice to share, but too much for one
🍇 Muscat Grape Cheese Tart ($9)
Cheesecake filling with frozen grapes on the top. I guess grape is fine with this and it's visually pleasing but maybe other fruits would have been a better choice. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable treat.
☕️🧊 Iced Gingerbread Latte ($8)
Strong hit of spices from their housemade gingerbread syrup. VERY GOOD.

Mashed Banana in Milk
There were too many bananas here in early November. They were already ripe then, so I froze them. I don’t enjoy ripe and sweet bananas; I like to eat them semi-ripe, when they still have a little tartness to them.
So I ate plenty of frozen bananas as a snack while I was sick end of last month.  Sibling didn’t know and bought more bananas, so they were frozen too while they hadn’t fully ripened.
I had 3 of the ripe frozen bananas left. I decided to snack on them tonight so they don’t become forgotten and freezer-burnt.
I like to try odd/ unconventional food combos just because. I have a very ‘welcoming’ palate so I enjoy a lot of food (one of my few dislikes: coriander) and not everyone might enjoy this.
INGREDIENTS
3 bananas
milk
fruit vinegar, to taste (I used muscat-flavoured vinegar)
chilli flakes, just because
STEPS (more like a log of what I did for myself)
I microwaved the bananas on medium for a short while to soften them, then mashed them in a little bit of milk. Too sweet, so I added chilli flakes. Still sweet and I couldn’t taste the spiciness, so I added muscat vinegar. Still quite sweet but tasted much better with a little tanginess.

Rundown of Sula Vineyards: The Best Wine Brand in India
Tumblr media
Sula Vineyards is the largest and most successful wine brand in India. Founded in 1999, Sula has become synonymous with high-quality, affordable wine. Thanks to its consistent quality and competitive pricing, Sula has captured a large share of the Indian wine market.
Sula wines are made from a variety of grape varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel. While most of Sula’s wines are produced in Nashik, the company also has vineyards in Bangalore and Ramnagar. In addition to still wines, Sula also produces sparkling wine, dessert wine, and spirits.
Sula’s flagship wine is its Sauvignon Blanc, which is widely regarded as the best white wine in India. The Chenin Blanc is also very popular, as is the pricier Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
The History of Sula Vineyards
Sula Vineyards was founded in 1999 by Rajeev Samant and Kerry Damskey. At the time, there were only a handful of wineries in India and no real Indian wine culture to speak of. Samant and Damskey saw an opportunity to change that.
After several years of research and development, Sula released its first vintage — a Sauvignon Blanc — in 2000. The wine was an instant hit with consumers and critics alike. Since then, Sula has gone on to release more than two dozen different wines, including reds, whites, sparkling wines, dessert wines, and even spirits.
Today, Sula is the largest and the best wine brand in India. The company sells over 1 million cases of wine per year and has a 45% share of the Indian wine market. Sula’s wines are exported to more than 30 countries around the world.
How to Enjoy Sula Wines?
There are many ways to enjoy Sula’s wines. The Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with seafood dishes like shrimp scampi or grilled salmon. The Chenin Blanc is refreshing on its own or can be enjoyed with chicken or vegetable-based dishes. The Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with steak or lamb dishes.
Dessert lovers will enjoy Sula’s Late Harvest Chenin Blanc — Dessert Wine, which pairs well with chocolate desserts or fruit tarts. Those looking for something a little different can try Sula’s Brut Sparkling Wine or Orange Muscat Spirits.
Final Verdict
Whether you’re new to Indian wine or you’ve been drinking it for years, there’s no denying that Sula Vineyards is the best producer in the country. Thanks to its focus on quality and affordability, Sula has captured a large share of the Indian market and has become one of the most recognizable names in Indian wine abroad. So next time you’re looking for a bottle of Indian wine, be sure to give Sula a try — you won’t be disappointed!

Tumblr media
C. Info about Samos Sweet Wine:
Samos Vin Doux (Protected Designation of Origin Samos Island) belongs to the Vins de Liqueurs category and is the most popular wine of Samos. It is not by chance that it is the No. 1 sweet wine in sales in Greece and that it is exported worldwide. The Samian land, with the influence of the sun and the Aegean winds, raises the internationally recognized White Muscat in the semi-mountainous and mountainous terraces. What makes Samos Vin Doux unique!
Tumblr media
Easy on the eyes with an attractive nose, it has a light golden color. The nose is dominated by aromas of apricot jam and mature melon expressing in a very fresh way the character of the Muscat grape, holding on to its primary aromas. A fruity taste with summer fruits in the foreground and with hints of butterscotch candy and flowers. A classic dessert wine, it is served after a meal at 8-10 ° C. It perfectly accompanies not only sweets that are light in texture and color, such as apple pie, lemon pie, fruit tarts, but also creamy desserts with full-bodied taste. It is also served as an aperitif or during relaxing afternoons with fruit, cheeses and nuts.  It is the ultimate companion of mature melon and it is adored by desserts, cheeses, fresh or dried fruits. It is also used in confectionery to create tasty syrups that give a different twist to sweet creations. In cooking, it aromatically complements and “ties together” sweet and sour sauces.  It also discreetly sweetens poultry, Asian or Italian recipes and other inspired dishes. It is the ideal closing of a meal or dinner, while its rich body can be a great base for making special Cocktails in unlimited combinations.
Tumblr media
History of Samos Sweet wine:
“Indeed, if the Twelve Olympian Gods drank nectar, it would be Samian wine!”
Tumblr media
Mythology, history and the characteristic name “Ampelos” (Vine) for one of the two mountain ranges that dominate the island, are key words when one thinks about the Samos vineyard with the typical dry-stone terraces and the cup-shaped vines. The history of Samos wine dates back to early antiquity, the historical record includes elements of mythology also.  Legend has it that the god Dionysus himself taught the Samians all about vine growing and winemaking in order to thank them for the help they provided to defeat the Amazons. According to tradition, the first person to teach vine growing to the inhabitants of the island was the hero of the Argonauts, Agkaios.
Tumblr media
We find historical references in antiquity for the wines of Samos in Hippocrates, Galenos, Theophrastos, while the military ships “Samena” transported wine from Samos to various ports of the world in Samian amphorae with a pointed base. The fate of viticulture follows the turbulent history of the island and is often interrupted by raids, culminating in the almost complete desolation of the land during the 15th century, resulting in the abandonment of vineyards, as natives resort to inaccessible mountain areas where they live in hiding. Since the end of the 19th century, Samos has been supplying branded wine to the markets of the East and West, and the Catholic Church grants Samos the privilege of producing wine certified by the Catholic Mission. The “Ecclesiastical Wine” is also used by the Orthodox Church for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
