Ahhhh, yes. This is a really nice one to get. Especially since I can gush a little.
The first muse I ever wrote was my OC, Katerina.
Now, when I first wrote her back on mIRC, I honestly didn't know what I was doing. Lol. I went off many books I wrote, so I was literate, but I don't think I was good by any means. Lol. She went through a lot of trial and error, but back then, she didn't have any story by any means whatsoever. She was just an OC based on Kurama from YuYu Hakusho(though at that time, I didn't remember who he was because I hadn't seen YuYu Hakusho in its entirety at that time and thought the anime was a fever dream I had once). She was also based in Inuyasha lore(because I was watching Inuyasha at that time).
Anyways, to make a long story short, I've been writing that tiny little fox demon girl for about 20 years now, and I just love her so much. She's such a sweetheart and such a beautiful girl, and I love her so, so, so much.

@bloodiedrubies - because i am a scatterbrain and shamefully forgot this gem in yesterday’s post under the letter b, i’ll do that now and ask for forgiveness ( i blame my wonky follower list for not showing you xD ). Man, another blog that is so good that it is hard to put into words. Rhaegar is technically not in our hotd timeline, but the mun has verses that make it super easy to interact and the writing is just incredible. so much quality, such an incredible grasp on the character. cannot recommend the blog enough!
@dionai - damn, what can i say? SO much talent! all of the muses are impeccable and the aesthetics are *chef’s kiss*. the writing is extremely good and the mun a sweetheart <3 i can only say wonderful things about them!
@dcrilaros - a wonderful interpretation of daemon that is very true to his character. the mun is also absolutely lovely and i adore them. hope this motivates them to come back to daemon and bless our dashes again

All the others spiralled after that.

Get to know the Mun/Blogger
1. Are you named after anyone? Since I usually go by nicknames, a lot of people called me Artie for short of Artemis. Lance, however . . . was named after a specific character in a specific show. I'm trying to deal with the fact but also make it my own.
2. When was the last time you cried? At the time of making it, it would probably be the morning of, when I was going through the Shadowbringers MSQ and it showed my WoL in a precarious situation. That's my baby boy, I don't want anything to happen to him. . .
3. Do you have kids? I can't even take care of a house plant, and they're resilient! Plus I hate kids-
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot? I think it depends on when I'm saying it, probably in a petty sort of way to defend a friend or whatever - but most of how I speak is just genuine joking teasing.
5. What sports do you play/have you played? I played both soccer and track in middle school but I hadn't done anything beyond that. I really enjoy archery and badminton, but when I had those in school, that was really the only way I could do it. Besides a small Summer thing for archery a few years back. I miss it. Not soccer, or track, just archery.
6. What’s the first thing you notice about other people? How they treat me. I'm usually a super shy individual and want to make friends and be friendly to everyone. Though I've had many friendships go awry because people become too clingy or expect me to give them the same amount of attention to those I give in my inner circles. We all have inner circles, and I do not treat my friends on a labeling system, but so many are too quick to form some sort of romantic bond with me when I just want friends, or take my kindness for granted. Just be my friend, that's all I want.
7. Scary movies or happy endings? I really like both, but so long as the happy ending isn't a romance because that's not my favorite thing. I mean it can be really cute and fluffy, but there's a lot of overused tropes in romantic movies. I love scary movies, and if scary movies have a happy ending more power to them, but it can easily be the ruiner of the entire film.
8. Any special talents? I can wriggle my nose? And I can kinda sing in several different languages? If you count horrible pronunciation and messing up words as I attempt to sing along.

10. What are your hobbies? Writing, gaming, singing, archery, editing - what have you <3
11. Do you have any pets? I used to, growing up on a farm. But now apparently I'm the co-parent of a one eyed cat named Link that has since put every ounce of cat hair all over my clothes. And sleeps with me when it's just me in the house. Does that count?
12. How tall are you? A teeny 5 foot 2 inches. I think - I'm a bean sprout.
13. Fave subject in school? I really liked English and occasionally art but I wasn't ever good at it. Music was really nice too, sometimes PE. Not always. Mostly English or Creative Writing. It was amazing in college <3
14. Dream job? There were a few I wanted to have. Detective, author, something like that. I graduated with a bachelor of science in Psychology and don't want to do anything with it. The subject is amazing, but I honestly am just working to work. Have money so I can live my life. Enjoy my hobbies. I'd love to write and create my stories and characters and get paid to do it, but I doubt that'll happen. Roleplaying is really the only way I can go about achieving that, since I have more muse for created stories than creating my own. I still want to take creative writing classes though.
15. Eye colour? They're dark brown! Just like my hair, but I have heard my hair looks black

What's the mun's & Vivian's secret for coming up with such cute nicknames?

That's honestly such a good question... but you might be surprised to learn coming up with nicknames doesn't come as easily to me as it does to Vivian or Kobato. Like, if I'm not consulting this list or this site for ideas, I would usually shoehorn in nickname suffixes Vivian had ended up using in the past. Like, for example, she once called a muse by the name of Raidou 'Rai-berry', so I would end up parroting potential nicknames in my head with unique suffixes she had used, whether it be 'berry', 'puff', 'bar', 'bean', and so, I would end up going with the one that sounds the best or one that sounds the most like a snack item to me, because Vivian herself is zany enough to come up with the most ridiculous yet adorable nicknames. But if neither of those work out, I would be like, 'okay, do I shorten this name or make it longer? Do I combine first and last name together? Or can I get away with repeating one part of the name twice, like how some fans would nickname Rhianna Riri?'
Meanwhile, when it comes to Kobato, though, I refer to the nicknames he had canonically called the Go-Home Club members (Gin = Noto Gin in Japanese and Ginoto in English localization, Marie = Mari-Mari, Sasara = Nee-san in Japanese, Lady in English localization, Shota = Gonta in Japanese and Slow-ta in English localization, Niko = Niko-chan, Kiriko = Kiri-chan in Japanese and Kiri in English localization, Ryuto = Chibi-chan in Japanese and Pipsqueak in English localization), the pet names he has canonically called other girls (Honey in Japanese and Honey bunny in English, baby, babe) and keep in mind the fact he's Japanese... meaning he wouldn't realistically add 'kins' at the end of somebody's name like Vivian would. But when it comes to giving nicknames for men, I struggle a lot, so I would consult letslearnslang.com for things to potentially call other male muses.
As for how Vivian comes up with nicknames... I imagine with how much manga, anime, and games she consumes, she kind of picked up on nicknaming conventions other characters would use. And because she isn't neurotypical by any means, her brain tends to easily remember how characters would address others and even names they call their pets, so due to the fact there was a cat named Karupin in 'The Prince of Tennis' and @spiritpyro's Hayate very much gave off feral cat vibes upon first meeting, she automatically was all like, 'Ah, I'll call him Hayupin from now on'. For @mugunghwc's Mako, though, Vivian's mind immediately drifted off to mapo tofu, because to her, he was 'spicy', but calling him 'Mapo' wouldn't have been as cute. so she ended up shortening it to 'Mappi', while @badheart's Fang was practically nicknamed after spaghetti based on it being something she had for lunch. Either way, it usually differs depending on what a muse's name is.
