A hand drawn design made for @funktionalj
He is a very talented soulful beat maker that got in touch with us.
Started with a simple photoshoot photo firstly. Then, him wanting to stand with (amsoi) in his right hand which we put in.
Additionally, add madame Jeannette peppers in his left hand.
The background is jungle-like which he requested to be drawn.
He also wanted the Surinam flag pole somewhere in the background which we implemented.

As promised, it's My Peak Challenge photoshoot day in L.A., guys! I'll be getting info from my source later today, so stay tuned!
Refresher for anyone who missed my original post on the info I posted a few days ago. And an update below. Check it out. 👇
So, my source let me know today that there are around 15 MPC members participating, it's an all day photoshoot in Los Angeles, she doesn't know the location(s) yet, and all cell phones were taken until the end of the photoshoot. Waiting to find out if Sam Heughan will be there. But, as many of you have noted, he was posting online last night NOT on UK time anymore. Some speculate he could be back in New York for interviews, but since there is this MPC photoshoot confirmed today, many think he's in L.A. for it. Since I have this insider source, we will know FOR SURE later today.
Stay tuned...
PS. It's going to be a perfect L.A. Fall day in the high 70's today with lots of sunshine. Rain expected on Wednesday though. Sign that Sam is here? He always brings the Scottish rain hahaha.

MPC Empire Strikes Back Hoth Rebel Base build FINAL photoset
November 4th, 2023
After seven years, this project is finally complete. I would get motivated, get bored, put it away, and take it back out again later.
So after I put down the decals on the X-Wings (again, I had scanned the decal sheet from the 1:72 Fine Molds X-Wing kit), I gave it a clear coat, brought out some of the detail with Tamiya's Dark Gray Panel Line Accent Color before dirtying them up with artist chalk and a little bit of a Gundam Real Touch marker. I used some artist oil to add some extra streaks on the Falcon and then I was all done. Here are detail shots.

For the "new recruits," I chose not to stress the red stripe decals. Now here are some shots of the Transport.
And the Falcon.
The base is just an upside-down sushi tray, and I installed a rocker switch that is powered by a 9V battery underneath. I painted the surface of the base Ankoku Black by Turner Acryl Goache, which is a light-absorbing black paint. It doesn't completely remove all reflected light, but it greatly diminishes it.

Vanesa recently received these two new piercings from Shay, and we are so thrilled with how amazing they turned out.
The top piercing has an "Athena" with Tanzanite and Anastasia Topaz. The bottom piercing has a Milgrain Prong with a Mercury Mist Topaz. Both from BVLA and both solid Rose Gold.
