Shitty Superhero Tournament Rules and Bracket

Finally, ¡the tournament is about to begin! The bracket will be posted under the cut, but first let’s get some clarifications and rules out of the way:

The movies here have been selected (with two exceptions*) based on their Rotten Tomatoes movie scores and do not reflect my opinion of their quality. The tournament will be divided into six rounds.

Each movie will come with a quick summary of some of its highlights (or lowlights, depending on your point of view) but feel free to create and submit your own propaganda.

You may vote in any way you want, rooting for whatever gives you the most entertainment in a train wreck sort of way, the movie that’s the most incompetently made, a film you feel is actually really good, or however you want to interpret what the winner of a Shitty Superhero Movie Tournament entails.

Personal attacks/bigoted comments and propaganda WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. If you are here looking for an excuse to be racist/sexist/homophobic/anti-semitic/body-shaming/a dick to people trying to collect a paycheck under the corporate grindstone, fuck off. Something I genuinely don’t understand in WW84:

Only 4 people made wishes directly on the stone: coffee guy, Diana, Barbara, Maxwell.

When Diana renounces her wish, it disappears. So when Maxwell renounced his wish, shouldn’t that also make every wish made on him also disappear? And the stone reform? And shouldn’t everything in the world except coffee guy’s wish and Barbara’s first wish been instantly reversed as well? But when Maxwell reunites with Alastair, the world is still all messy and fucked up around him.

Why did only some wishes instantly reverse? Where is the dream stone now? And more importantly, will that guy get free coffee out of nowhere for life? Jealous.
