I don't care what anyone says these are my favourite Spider-Man movie ships (and definitely my favourite superhero movie ships in general) with the strongest chemistry and the best romantic storylines and they all feel like separated characters but also make great couples (and both shared a beautiful romantic sunset scene in their sequels before a lot of angst happened).

i love how all people talk about is when spiderman knocks on the window of the truck in tasm2 and he says “hey mr criminal, my name is spiderman. you can call me webhead, call me amazing, don’t call me late for dinner”
and never when his handshake is rejected:
spiderman: not a hugger?
criminal: i am killer!
spiderman: woah okay! :D

An actor that lives in back of my mind: Dane Deehan
GOODNESS did he take a spot in my messy brain so fast! He normally takes on characters who are morally grey, problematic, and/or troubled. I recognized him in Oppenheimer, and I have to say, he's definitely mastered his roles as the architype that his characters usually embody. My favorite movies that he acted in? Probably The Amazing Spiderman 2, and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets... its been a while since I've watched them but he's just- idk whatever
I cannot stress how good he is in the romantic/emotional scenes in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets! He's a womanizer military general who falls in love with a girl who tries to brush off his attempts to sweep her off of her feet. It's SUCH an underrated movie! Especially when she explains to him what love is, and he confesses that he loves her and trusts her- ahhhhhh! I could rewatch it a thousand times and feel the same fuzzy feeling. AND the BEACH SCENE!!! Them pinning each other down, catching each other off guard, AMAZING! At first I was a bit iffy about Cara Delevingne as Valerian's love interest, but she's really good at acting as the smart, stoic, badass girl.
Anyway, Dane's just a really good actor, albeit underrated. I feel like he just gets bad lines, but his emotional performances are breathtaking.
Like the scene in The Amazing Spiderman 2, where he (Harry Osborn) pleads at Electro to help him get rid of Spiderman as he gets dragged away, he essentially repeats the same line: "I need you", but his line delivery really takes the cake for me. I could feel the emotion, and how he was so desperate to live. (He suffers from a curse or disease or something that his father died of). I- idk I was so enraptured by his performance idk how to explain it.
I also heard he did a movie with Daniel Radcliffe, but I personally haven't watched it yet lol, maybe soon.

Comfort Movies
I was tagged by @once-upon-an-imagine! They chose some amazing movies, so here are mine:
Mean Girls
2. The Princess Diaries 2
3. Legally Blonde 1
4. Enola Holmes
5. The Chosen (I don't know if it counts as a comfort movie, which is why it's not at the top, but it's very comforting to me, so I put it on the list)
6. The Amazing Spiderman
7. The Princess Bride
8. The Lost City
9. The Proposal
10. The Emperor's New Groove
I am tagging @missusstark @mydutchproblem @fancy-pantaloons to share with us their top ten comfort movies (only if they want to).
