People who know me know that I’m a big Formula 1 fan, so anything F1 and graphic design together I am always going to jump on it. As the F1 season has begun one team that has caught my eye had been Ferrari who have been smashing it on social media. Their fresh style across socials relies heavily on photography partnered with bold copy. The crisp photography works so well by putting the main focus on their drivers and the cars. I enjoy the addition of solid red areas where important information goes, for example, race and session results. The detail of a yellow line for one driver and a white one for the other helps differentiate the two as well, especially if fans have a favourite.

Came across this stunning NASCAR work from Tanner on Twitter a few days ago. The way he’s incorporated NASCAR racing into the gambling casino culture of Las Vegas works so well. Using a roulette wheel to reference the Oval Speedway is a great link. Looks like a very simple idea but is executed to perfection. I like the copy placement as it’s in an empty part of the image and is noticeable, but it doesn’t distract from the main imagery.

🇮🇹 Questo fine settimana a Misano sarà un vero e proprio spettacolo per gli appassionati della Lotus Cup. Tutto è pronto per il gran finale della stagione 2023 Lotus Cup Italia: si giocheranno il tutto per tutto sui 4.226 metri del circuito romagnolo che nel pomeriggio di sabato vedrà definiti i propri campioni in tutte le classi: sono infatti ancora aperti i giochi sia per quanto riguarda la classifica assoluta sia per le classi del Trofeo Hankook, e Gold Cup mentre tra i Master è già matematicamente campione.

🇬🇧 This weekend at Misano will be a real spectacle for fans of the Lotus Cup. Everything is set for the grand finale of the 2023 Lotus Cup Italia season: it will all be played out over the 4,226 meters of the Romagna circuit, which on Saturday afternoon will see its champions decided in all classes. The competition is still wide open for the overall standings as well as for the classes in the Hankook Trophy, and Gold Cup, while in the Masters category the champion has already been mathematically determined.
