okay so i know it's a drug hallucination playing on mcgraths fears inside a plot twist zelda drug hallucination and not actually skip bc it's a halloween episode of a comedy podcast but " I can't, it's agaisnt company regulations" has been playing in my head nonstop

#mission rejected #mission rejected podcast #im being straight baited by this spy propaganda podcast #okay ignoring the zelda framing bc thats end of episode joke plot twist #okay mcgraths two fears are 1) becoming a narc and 2) being emotionally vulnerable (in general but also potentially romantic) around skip #and she does become a narc ! not fully but this is a spy propaganda podcast she does join the agency #and she does throughout the series become closer and more vulnerable with skip #okay but mcgraths fear hallucination skip doesnt flat out say or to fear monster mcgrath but 'i cant'#mcgrath knows skip is such a stickler for the rules #but also is letting it slide for bowden and gloria #but would never let it slide for himself #and then the fear monster eats hallucination skip!#she scared that being emotionally vulnerable w skip will/does hurt him #and skips sacrifices himself so much throughout the series for mcgrath (and also ya know the entire world but mostly for mcgrath )#most notebly before this episode risking his job by not thinking she's the mole #skips fear drug hallucination is less analyzable to me most of it is haha basic zombies but #the main fear is that he is the least important/ skilled member of his team #which.... he is #but he has his optimism and organizational skills and blorboness #and gets character development and keeps sacrificing himself for the world/his friends/ mostly mcgrath #bowdens is just 'what if my life is just a role' which eh #and gloria doesnt get one bc time + she's the most under developed of the main 4 characters #anyway ive been marathoning nightvale and i dont want to burn myself out on it bc i still have over 100 episodes to go #so i thought id relisten to some mission rejected inbetween episodes #and then i just started marathoning mission rejected again instead oops #theres an official mission rejected discord but im too awkward to talk in discords so imma just yell into the void of tumblr #if you see this please like it i want to know people read my blorbo rant
