Fun Fact
Kazakhstan’s Minister of Communications and Informatics has blocked the Tumblr site because it contained 60 sites of terrorism, extremism, and pornography in 2015.
There are a lot of adults going to church today who are going to be Pikachu-face surprised when they get to judgment and are handed a millstone to place around their necks because of how unsafe they've made this world for children.
Idea for all you pagans and witches out there: If you get Jehovah’s Witnesses or Mormons or those sorts knocking at your door, instead of politely turning them away, don on your most witchy, out-there, non-christian-friendly accessories and attire and open the door.
Be cheerful and welcoming! Say you’re more then open to chat about spirituality, take their pamphlets, try to show them any books of your own you have, hell, even invite them inside for a cup of tea by your altar to Odin.

Added in Edit: Having had this up for a while, I have to say that it truly amazes me just how many of the religious (most of them in fact) are the epitome of the Dunning-Kruger Effect. Not just stupid, but dangerously stupid. So I'm adding a couple of tags to the blog, just for them.
Barnum was right. "There's a sucker born every minute." If you can believe in a god (or gods), an invisible, all knowing, all powerful being, based on nothing but your feelings and some moldy manuscript written before modern medicine and electricity, then you'll believe anything at all, no matter how ludicrous. And the evidence of that is in front of us every damn day. Trump. Republicans. Anti-vax. Anti-science. Climate-denial. Anti-abortion. Flat Earth. Steal from the poor and give to the rich.
Added it Edit on 04/02: Just had a porn pusher call on me to repent. Typical of the breed. Hypocrites, all of them. ROTFLMAO!
Hazbin Hotel!Adam: "YOU SHOULD BE WORSHIPPING ME!" Me: "Dave, what Heresy is that one?"
Mormonism, oddly enough.
(To be clear, the Adam-God theory was only a thing in Mormonism very early on, and is rejected as false doctrine by the modern Church of Latter-Day Saints, giving it the amusing distinction of being considered heretical by both Catholic and Mormon standards.)
It really bothers me when people describe the way I grew up as "sheltered" when in reality I was not being sheltered or protected. I was intentionally confused. I was kept in the dark. My reality was being controlled.
Criticizing the church and the culture around it, is how it will improve. So no I won't stop. And I will argue that is a mark towards my integrity not against it.
