I drew this for Christopher Scott as a holiday gift, who you might remember hired me to illustrate the first story in the Eddie the Yeti children's book series two years ago!
If you're interested in checking out the book (or gifting it to someone), it's still available at https://eddietheyeti.com/. There's both an ebook and physical version, but it seems like the physical book can only be shipped within the United States. If you do go that route, use promo code XMAS23 for free shipping until Christmas. :3
I'm still waiting for the second book I illustrated to come out, but hopefully that'll happen soon enough!

You know that thing that happens when you are driving a little car with normal headlights and a massive oversized truck or suv with eye burning LEDs is behind you and their headlights are exactly level with your rear window and also you can see the shadow of your car in front of you because their headlights are so unreasonably bright and overpower your own?

Moose - Mother & Calf by George
Via Flickr:
I took these photos on a chance encounter, at Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park. We visited just to see the scenery, and were totally taken by surprise when the moose turned up. I think moose would have been one of the highest of my list of animals to see in Canada, but I thought it was pretty low down in terms of probability. I think we just got very lucky to stumble on them in such spectacular surroundings. We were able to sit and watch this mother and calf for about 30 mins or so. They seemed pretty relaxed.
