moon’s dark content tagging guide:

don’t feel like you have to like or interact with this post. get what you need from it and don’t feel bad about it!! i respect your boundaries around my content! please let me know if a post is missing any tags it needs !!

#moon.dc

-> dark content, this tag is a catch all. this one will be on every single dark content post, no matter how dark, so light cnc and heavy noncon and gore alike will have this tag. also! covers anything that’s dark… but doesn’t really fit any other tag.

#moon.ncdc

-> noncon/dubcon. this tag covers anything nonconsenual or dubiously consensual. this is combined as one tag because, in my opinion, dubcon is noncon. if it’s not 100% clearly consensual, it’s then it’s noncon.

#moon.c/nc

-> consensual nonconsent! the ‘non-consenting’ partner is, for lack of a better word, ‘acting’. it’s role play, a scene, and it’s not something the character is actively experiencing as a traumatic event. uses some of the same language as ncdc though, so maybe be potentially triggering as well. it is always explicitly stated somewhere in my cnc content that is consensual.

-> gore! for all extents and purposes, i don’t expect to write very intense gore. i’m not too into that. but this tag will include any graphic depictions of blood, cuts, open wounds, etc !!

#moon.sm

-> sadomasochism! this tag includes heavy pain play, more than just the slight discomfort of rough sex, i’m talking like intentionally hurting a partner in any form. the difference between this and the previous tag is that this one also includes anything that’s not exactly gorey, but still painful. think: waxplay, scratching and bruising, etc.

-> weapons! this includes knives, guns, etc

#moon.ws

-> watersports!! this is vaguely something i’m into so idk if i’ll even end up using this tag, but i wanted to make it just in case.

-> yandere! pretty self explanatory.

#moon.a

-> any form of abuse/abusiveness. in my blog’s case, usually towards the character and not the reader.

-> this is hypno! which also includes brainwashing and other stuff like that!
