the exploration of the moon knight system’s trauma in season 1 was mainly focused on marc’s grief and pain. but i really can’t wait for marvel to explore the anger, bitterness, and hatred that people with trauma very often carry around through jake lockley’s character. grief is not always just an inward, self-effacing thing like we saw with marc. it can become external and demand justice from places and people that don’t owe it to you and where you will never find what you’re looking for. season 2 is gonna go so hard i literally can’t wait

it makes it so much more sinister that khonshu appeared even just a little bit kinder in the show than in the comics, only for us to discover that he withheld his knowledge of jake’s existence this entire time and is still using them without their knowledge. he preyed upon marc’s complete lack of self-worth and now he’s manipulating jake’s anger for his own purposes
