32. Which two characters from different games do you believe would get along the most?

Sonia and Kirumi!! I know I've posted before on here about how Sonia/Kirumi are one of my most beloved cross-game rarepairs, but I really do think they have so much in common. They have a lot of interesting perspectives to share with each other, vis a vis the way they conceive of acts of service and their dedication to that cause, but they also both share the same ultimate goal of guiding their societies to happiness. I think they could really understand each other in a way that no one else, even within their own games, could.

39. Which character do you feel deserves more love?

AKANE OWARI. She is SO underrated. With other underappreciated characters, while I wish they had more content, there's usually at least some reason I Get It - like, of course Mukuro doesn't get much attention, she never appears as herself; of course Jack doesn't get much attention, she's treated as a Toko add-on even in a game where she stars. But Akane is there from the beginning to the end! She's one of the survivors! She has an entire character arc! She has strengths and weaknesses and interesting interactions with multiple characters who are beloved by fans!! But because she's dark-skinned and not traditionally intellectual she doesn't get love. It makes me really mad. We need a year of Akane.

48. Do you have any rare pairs?

More than I could possibly list in a single ask, and in fact I am pretty invested in every single possible F/F ship in DR regardless of realism. But some personal favorites:

What's that? Taking care of yourself? He's never heard of it.

He'd be rather against the idea of putting anything on his face, but he would absolutely keep you company while you do your self care routine.

If you beg him, he'd probably sigh and let you put a face mask on him.

"If it makes you happy, I guess you can."

You can probably convince him to lay down with you and watch tv, too.

You guys talk about anything and everything.

Gonta Gokuhara

Smiles and happily agrees to spend time with you. That's Gonta's favorite thing to do!

You want to put a face mask on him? Okay!

Flinches because it's cold 🥺

He really likes the way it smells.

Wants to help you do yours, too!

He will ask you about your day. Not just to make small talk, he really wants to know!

Tell him stories or ask about his day in return and he will smile so wide.

Kiibo

He's a robot, so you probably don't need to put anything on his face. It may damage the metal!

But he will keep you company, if you'd like!

He will offer you suggestions on other things you can do to relax.

"Candles offer a relaxing atmosphere. You may also take a warm bath or get a massage!"

Will probably offer a massage, despite being made of metal.

Surprisingly does a really good job, tho.

Korekiyo Shinguji

Speaking of massages,,

This man is a massage GOD.

He somehow gets knots loose that you didn't even know were there in the first place.

He delicately applies the peeling mask to your face, leaning in extra close to make sure he gets it all.

Chuckles when you blush from the close proximity.

Will also braid your hair. If you have short hair, he gently brushes it for you.

This man knows about self care.

Rantaro Amami

He's so good at this.

If you ask him to paint your nails, he will light up. He would love to!!

Especially if you're nervous/embarrassed. He adores when you're flustered.

You're just so cute~

He will tease the living shit out of you.

He will also do face masks with you!

When you tell him you need a self-care day, he absolutely takes it seriously.

You two listen to quiet music and talk about your talent, his adventures, media you like, anything and everything.

Kokichi Ouma

First of all, why would you think this is a good idea?

Self care and this little gremlin do not mix. Self care is supposed to be calm and relaxing, and Ouma is, well, the exact opposite of that.

I think the best thing he can do for you on self care days is just... leave you alone, to be honest.

But if he's around, here's what he'll do:

He asks about everything you do. What it is, why you use it, what does it do, can he try it?

Tells you that you look funny with a face mask on, then asks if he can use some, too.

Wants to put on a sheet mask and hide somewhere to scare Gonta.

You have to keep him from doing that.

Rantaro Amami:

• you, rantaro, and your mutual friend were having a conversation with just the three of you in a casual group setting

• the third party had accidentally mentioned that you had feelings for him while telling a “funny story” 💀 • rantaro’s first reaction is to chuckle at the news but he doesn’t really fully process what’s being said until he notices the flustered reaction on your face

• he has this moment where his eyes just kind of go out of focus and he thinks about the fact that your mutual friend just said it aloud without thinking

• he’s normally a very composed guy but this time, he can’t help but react by widely grinning and letting his excitement show in his face 😭

• the normally chill, sociable guy that you fell for is bubbling with excitement and is struggling to think of how to phrase what he wants to say smoothly

• “can the two of us have a minute to ourselves? i uh… might need a second”

• “hey y/n, so about that. when were you gonna tell me you had feelings for me?”

as you held your breath in anticipation, he completed his thought

“i wasn’t sure how i was going to tell you about my feelings, so i take this as a good way to break it to you”

• you two are both laughing at the situation (and at your mutual friend who has zero idea what they just revealed), rantaro putting his hand on your shoulder for leverage as he struggles to compose himself

• “what do you say a date for tomorrow night? it’s my turn to take initiative and put effort into this”

Nagito Komaeda:

• it started when you wrote a message to your friend about nagito: “i just don’t know what to do… i like him, but what if he doesn’t like me?”

… and accidentally sent it to nagito 💀

• the first reaction you get from him is “?” (that is, the first reaction you can see)

• on the other side of the phone he is freaking out, wishfully thinking that it might be about him, blushing PROFUSELY, pacing around, and is unsure of what the hell is going on

• you immediately send him a follow up message trying to cover your tracks but you get the feeling that he already knows

• in a way, you also want him to know so that you could just get it out there, but it’s extremely nerve racking for everyone involved

• meanwhile every single fiber of his soul is hoping that the message was about him, and that somehow you’d reveal it to be

• “not to pry but could i ask you something y/n? who is this person you have feelings for? we’re friends and i want to help you, if i can”

• this evolves into a conversation about you practically describing the aspects of nagito without actually naming anyone— but it’s exactly what he needs to deduce that you’re talking about him

• you two have the same moment of realization where the tension is so high that you just can’t ignore what you both already know

• “i think i’ll just be honest at this point,,

i’ve been talking about you, nagito. you’re the one i have feelings for.”

• he literally cannot type words. he’s paralyzed by the fact that you of all people??? liking him? no way. he must be dreaming

• his reply reads:

“if i wasn’t already obvious, i have feelings for you too… sorry if it was awkward for me to ask you that. i want to go further but i think i’m worried about ruining our friendship. i want to watch movies with you and maybe even hold hands, i wanna be closer with you. agh. i can’t even think… what am i saying??? just ignore this”

• you reassure him that it’s okay and that these are things you’ll figure out with him along the way. he buries his face into a pillow and sighs with a mixed feeling of excitement, joy, relief, and nervousness. but above all, he’s happy to know his feelings are reciprocated

𔘓 Whenever there's a case about you, he tries not to interfere with it much. He instead talks with you about it. Oooor, he is able to figure it out himself and then asks if you did it.

𔘓 You unintentionally help expand his detective skills. And your phantom thief skills evolve as well. You're going toe to toe, playing some kind of cat and mouse type game.

𔘓 I take it back, this doesn't even have to be an enemies to lovers, it's just a very interesting dynamic ~

⬥ That is... Quite the talent to have.

⬥ He is impressed, don't get me wrong, but Amami ponders on the morality of it.

⬥ You explain to him your rules and boundaries, he understands it more now. But he's still worried. For your safety, that is.

⬥ Being the ultimate phantom thief can be dangerous. So, when you come back home, very late at night, you're met with Rantaro crossing his arms. He knows it a part of being a phantom thief, but that doesn't mean he can't worry.

⬥ See, the cool thing about Rantaro being an adventurer, is that you often go on trips to various places all over the world. Which makes it easier to keep your identity a secret. Once the ultimate phantom thief is in Japan, next thing you know, they're already far away in Poland. You see what I mean? Inconsistency in their 'last spotted' location makes it impossible to figure out where they're from.

⬥ Which means you and Rantaro can live a kinda-peaceful life, only kinda.

♛ Oh. Oh?

♛ This is giving Ouma so many ideas. You're joining D.I.C.E, right?... You're joining D.I.C.E

♛ You're so cool- he means uh, you're, cool, I guess

♛ Ouma invites you to various adventures with D.I.C.E and outings. You're an important part of their group now.

♛ He just really digs the whole phantom thief aesthetic and the general idea of it.

♛ You're partners in crime ~ but this time, like, actually in crime

Very touchy when it comes to her s/o

Needs that full-body contact

Likes to lay directly on top of her s/o

Gonta Gokuhara:

He's the big spoon obv

So his s/o is always warm and protected in his strong arms

Himiko Yumeno:

Favorite cuddles are when she's lying in her s/o's lap

His love language def is physical touch, so he'd be most willing to cuddle

Has a (semi) soft chest you could lay on during cuddles

He mostly likes being the big spoon, pressing his s/o's back to his chest so he's able to snuggle his face into the crook of their neck and press soft kisses along their skin, smiling if they giggle or try and playfully wriggle away from his affections

And his s/o sighs and snuggle closer bc it's so nice and warm and they feel safe and protected.

But just because he's normally the big spoon, doesn't mean he dislikes being held

Also, snoring. Although it doesn't really relate to cuddles, I see Kaito as a big snorer. Like even asleep he has to make as much sound as possible. He always denies it as well, even if his s/o had his head right next to theirs the whole night or even if they recorded him, he refuses any claims that he snores

Kirumi Tojo:

SOFT TOUCHES >>>

Likes listening to her s/o talking about their day

She'd probably kiss their forehead at random

Or their lips

Or their nose

Or just about any part of their body, really

Kokichi Ouma:

DEFINITELY clingy

Wants all his s/o's attention and affection

Will pout and whine if they don't give it to him

Loves plopping down on his s/o and putting his weight on them

She needs to trust her s/o a lot before even considering letting them touch her

Maki Harukawa:

Doesn't like to beat around the bush; so even if she finds it somewhat embarrassing and flushes adorably, she will straightforwardly ask for her s/o's attention when she wants it

She'd probably bare more of a resemblance to a kitten than an assassin during cuddling lol

Possibly clingy (depends on the day)

Miu Iruma:

Miu's heart always beats faster when her s/o lays right on her chest

Or maybe she just has a naturally rapid heartbeat

(It's absolutely racing)

Rantaro Amami:

Would scroll through photos of him and his s/o while they cuddle together

He's pretty chill

Whenever his s/o is lying down, be it on the sofa or in bed, he will always find a way to hold you to his chest

If his s/o is asleep by the time he gets to bed, he quietly sneaks underneath the covers and searches for them with his arms, wrapping around their waist and pulling them into his hold

Ryoma Hoshi:

Okay so

He's not one for PDA so cuddling is happening when him and his s/o are alone

But then he eventually gets more comfortable with cuddling his s/o

Really hesitant at first

He finds extreme comfort in knowing that he can hold his s/o close and that they're safe

Shuichi Saihara:

He is so fucking precious okay?

Anyways

Has a fucked up sleep schedule, so his s/o has to practically force him to lay with them

Like, what if he makes them uncomfortable? (That's the LAST thing he wants)

His s/o is usually the first to cuddle up bc Shuichi is too hesitant to

But when he is the first one to cuddle up, he likes to run his fingers through his s/o's hair as they snuggle into his chest

Has a revelation that he loves his s/o during cuddles

(He has that revelation a lot)

Tenko Chabashira:

LOTS of blushing

Bc holy shit she wasn't expecting that

When her s/o snuggles up to her, she just stops breathing for a second

And when you throw her arm over her stomach she doesn't know what to do

If you play with her hair or massage her scalp, she's putty in your arms

Tsumugi Shirogane:

It's a bit awkward

The camera tuned in to a girl wearing pink, who then furrowed her brows with a determined grin. The livestream already had thirteen thousand viewers, even though it just started, and comments began flooding in.

"Hey, hey, hey! What's up, fuckers?! It's your girl, Miu here! Currently with Rantaro, Kaede, Ryoma, Kirumi, Angie, Tenko, Korekiyo, Kokichi, Gonta, Kaito, Tsumugi, Kiibo, Shuichi, Maki, and Himiko, who I'm sure you all recognize from the channel, at the convention we mentioned we'd be going to!!"

Thank you so much for your kindness, 🍋 anon! It's been a joy to write for everyone. Also, I'm super excited to write this one... Shuichi is one of my favorites, actually. I'm not sure if I've said much about what characters I like! Anyway, I hope you enjoy it :)

200+ Followers Event: Drunken confession from Shuichi!

(For the sake of clarity, everyone mentioned is of legal drinking age! Also, Mod Celeste says to drink responsibly!)

Shuichi is not usually a drinker. He'll join Kaito and Rantaro at the bar every so often, though he's the designated driver pretty much every time. Not that he minds, of course. He'd hate to lose his inhibitions.

Last time the guys got together, Kaito told him about the annual class reunion in a few weeks. Despite the... quirkiness of his graduating class, Shuichi does still like seeing them every so often. Also, you would be there-- and he's been thinking about catching up since you are often out of the county for work.

"I know you'll be there dude-- y/n already RSVP'd." Kaito laughed as he smacked him in the shoulder.

So, once the day came, there he was. The reunion was usually held at a nice hotel's convention center. A fairly dressy event, but that didn't stop Gonta from not wearing shoes... "you have to admire his consistency," Shuichi thought. It put him at ease to see old friends.

He was making small talk with Maki when you arrived. Dressed sharply and beautiful as ever, his heart stopped at the sight of you. But it had been so long... what would you even talk about? Heck, would you remember him? The anxiety filled his mind.

Kokichi, observant as ever, saw him in this state. He scampered over, mischievous intentions clear, and struck up a conversation. "Heeeeey buddy, cat got your tongue?"

Startled, Shuichi stuttered out a response. "O-oh, uh... yeah, I suppose. Just a bit out of my element, haha." That was an understatement.

"Well... I think I know just the thing. Loosen up, will ya?" With his devious little smile, he passes Shuichi a glass of champagne. In a moment of weakness, he downed the whole thing. Though, it did help.

Looking for some better solace than Kokichi, the detective found Kaito and Maki once again. He saw you talking to the hotel staff, friendly and warm. They could tell Shuichi was a bit shaken, so the pair sat him down and tried to help.

"Listen, man. I know you've got the hots for y/n, so you should be honest!" Kaito was a pretty straightforward guy, for better or worse.

"Now now, Kaito. It's not always that simple..." Maki, the more thoughtful of the two, chimed in.

Shuichi sat at their table, dejected. "I'd love to, but... what if they don't reciprocate? What if I do something wrong?"

Kaito knows when he gets like this, positivity is the remedy. "Have some confidence! You're a really cool guy, and they know it. Just show them that and you can't go wrong! That's how I got Maki-roll, you know." She rolls her eyes, but can't deny it either.

He takes the advice to heart. Trying to embrace the night in stride, he has a few more drinks and makes the rounds to talk to everyone. Shuichi had planned on saving you for last, in the hopes maybe he'd catch you alone. However, the nerves got to him, as did the alcohol. By the time he walked his way over to you (it was more of a stagger, actually), his cheeks were flushed and he had an unusual expression.

"Uh, hey there... y/n." He attempted the charm of a movie star, albeit poorly. "How's it been?" He enquired.

He was clearly a bit inebriated. You thought it was cute, though. The entire night you'd seen him steal glances, only to turn away shyly. He wanted to impress you, and you knew it. You'd had some chemistry back in school, after all. You humored him and answered, with the same "cool-person" attitude.

In his state, he saw this as a win. So, he kept going. Maybe not being held back by his rational side was a good thing? "Let's say we go over the balcony, you and I... I'd like some more alone time with you, if you don't mind," He winked as he took your hand and guided you to the secluded spot. The guardrails were strung with twinkling lights and the view was just stunning.

You asked what his intentions were, and he finally came clean. "So, uh... as it turns out, I'm in love with you. Crazy, right? I have since Hope's Peak, really. I'm sure you've got an awesome partner already though, so this... this is without hope or agenda, okay?" Even in his drunken state, some genuine thoughts slipped through.

Hearing the words after all this time brought you peace. You hugged him tightly, reassuring him you had nobody else. His red face turned redder.

"Huh? Wait, you actually--- huh. I didn't plan this far..." you both shared a laugh at that. The night had worn on very long, however, and it was time to get going. You drove him home, and tucked him in. By that point, he was passed out. What a night!

In the morning, he was greeted with a horrible headache and a note on his bedside table. It read: "Hope you're up for some dinner tonight-- I have an extended stay here at home. Plus, it's about time for a first date, don't you think?" Signed with your name.

The shock finally hit him. "What did I do last night?" Shuichi was partly mortified, but...

Seems Kokichi was right about loosening up.

He's amazed by your Ultimate and would like to see you making a toy himself.

Fortunately, while walking towards the school's cafeteria, he saw you making a toy.

He walked towards you and noticed something off.

Your hands was shaking rapidly and it's making you lose your focus.

It seems like you didn't notice him going to you because your eyes are focused on the toy you're making.

"S/O? Your hands are shaking... Are you alright?"

His voice startled you a little bit and almost made you drop the piece of the toy that you're holding.

"O-oh it's you Rantaro.. I'm fine it's normal for my hand to do this while making a toy.."

He sat beside you and decided to help you make the toy you're making.

He always reassures you that it will came out good.

And it seems like he's right, the toy turned out good after you both finished making it.

"I know that your'e good at making toys but I didn't expect you to be this good." "Well , you helped me after all."

Hajime Hinata

While walking towards the park, he noticed a familiar figure making something.

He walked towards the figure to make sure his guys we're right.

Right there on the bench, he saw you making.....a toy?

"S/O?"

Startled, you dropped the screwdriver you're holding.

"Ah! You s-scared me Hajime!"

He apologized many times for startling you and you reassured him that it's fine because it didn't broke the almost finished toy.

He helped you make the toy as an apology.

He almost broke the hand of the toy and decided to just watch you.

He still feel guilty for not being able to help and for startling you earlier.

He noticed that your hands are shaking while you're making the toy.

"Hey S/O san, are you alright? Your hands are shaking... Do you want to rest for just a little bit?"

You told him that its fine and your toy is almost finished anyways.

Amazed by the outcome and begs you to teach him how to make a wonderful toy.

You agreed but...teaching him was pain in the ass.

After a few toy making lessons he finally learned how to make a basic toy.

This baby is so happy😭🫶

"You're so good at making this things S/O, I'm hoping that your creations will reach the media one day."

Shuichi Saihara

He's looking for you in the hallways because of something important.

He immediately found you in the cafeteria because of his Detective Abilities (?).

To not startle you, he knocked on the cafeteria's door before going in even if it's opened.

"S/O? I have something important to discuss with you today, are you free at the moment?"

"Oh hi Shuichi, let me just finish this then we can talk."

Got curious about what you're doing then remembered that you're the Ultimate Toy Maker.

He decided to help you and walked towards you.

"May i help you, S/O?"

You looked up to him and agreed.

He doesn't know anything that much about toy making because he only watches Miu when she's making something.

While in the middle of making the toy, he noticed that your hands are shaking.

"S/O?" "Yes?" "Are you alright? Your hands are shaking."

You told him that's its alright and its basically normal for your hands to shake when making toys because of nervousness.

Reassured you that it will be okay and that you should think positive.

It proved that he's right when the toy turned out okay when you both finished making it.

"I won't be surprised when your creations become popular, with your amazing talent and skill, every toy you make will be recognized by everyone oneday."

(and ill explain what is adhd, ADHD is one of the most common mental disorders affecting children and this may last until adulthood. Symptoms of ADHD include inattention (not being able to keep focus), hyperactivity (excess movement that is not fitting to the setting) and impulsivity (hasty acts that occur in the moment without thought).

Rantaro

- Rantaro is a very patient man. He had 12 sisters.

- He is able to deal with many types of people, erratic, calm, childish, etc..

- That being said, he can most definitely handle your ADHD well.

- Rantaro likes to hear your ramblings, your current obsessions/interests..

- Just likes hearing your voice in general tbh

- He’s very observant and can tell whenever you get overwhelmed or overstimulated with your current surroundings and will help you get through it.

- Rantaro also will help you bring your attention back to important topics/tasks.

- Rantaro constantly reminds you to take care of yourself, make sure to eat, make sure to sleep because you seem to forget to do these things

- He also helps you understand things you don’t really get right away

- If you’re having trouble in school, wether it’s because you don’t quite get the assignments, you just forget to do them or you have trouble focusing on the assignment, he’ll help you!

- Rantaro constantly tries to make sure you feel comfortable, making sure that you’ll be fine

- There are times where you’re telling a story and then you go off topic and forget what you’re talking about, so he reminds you

Shuichi

- Shuichi is a calm person. He’s also semi quiet and often tries to keep his thoughts to himself.

- You, on the other hand, are the complete opposite.

- Constant energy, not able to stay still, difficulty focusing..

- It overwhelms him, it drains a lot of energy out of him.

- Now even though you constantly tire him out with your excessive movements, he does try to help

- Shuichi tries to simplify his thought process as much as he can so you can keep up with him.

“Uhm…huh?”

“Basically he was scared that he was going to get caught and that’s why he did what he did.”

“Oh!”

- He’ll let you fidget with his fingers with you need something to fidget with (although he’ll be a bit embarrassed bc…touch)

- He’ll also help you catch up on any late assignments or assignments that you haven’t done yet because you get distracted too easily

Kaito

- Kaito is very energetic and loud. He matches your energy well.

- Kaito is very passionate just like you with your interests!

- He’ll listen to everything you say with a smile on his face.

- He also gets mad at people who get frustrated with you.

“Hey! S/O’s trying their best!”

- I dont think Kaito is academically smart so he can’t help you there BUT

- Like in the game, Kaito can give good advice to you

- Kaito also can read people very well so he can tell whenever you get overstimulated and stressed out

- Kaito is an amazing supportive (boy)friend and he’ll always be there for you :)

Hello anon! I’m so glad you like my headcanons :D I tried to pick out some characters that would fit well with this prompt, so I went with Rantaro, Celeste, and Tsumugi (+ hajime!). I hope those are okay! This was fun to write— Enjoy! <3

Hajime Hinata

•Hajime will admit, he’s not really well-versed in gyaru fashion, so he may need you to explain some things to him, or help him find articles for him to read through

•Even before he met you, he had always found your fashion style cool

•Bright, and definitely different, yes, but it had a unique sense to it that piqued his interest

•So, when he began talking to you, and getting even closer to you, he was more than happy to learn about the gyaru style

•He‘ll even go shopping with you!

•Hajime’s not the best with fashion, though, so... he’ll probably just smile and nod at whatever you try on and tell you he thinks you look wonderful

•He does think you look wonderful in everything

•On special occasions or holidays, he’ll get you clothing and accessories you liked!! (and some makeup, if you liked to wear it)

•He... is not well-versed with makeup, either, so he usually just sticks to giving you mascara or eyeliner in hopes you actually like it

•Hajime will often compliment you, as well!

•He’d also be more than happy to do your makeup! He’d want to know your favorite lipstick/gloss colors, or the color palette that you often like with eyeshadow

•He admittedly wears some makeup himself, so he’s fairly good with applying it!

•Rantaro’s also a rather verbal person, so you’l definitely get compliments from him!

•Before you go on a date, he may give you a smile and a comment on how stunning you look, or if you decided to do your makeup at home, he’d tell you specific things that he loves about it

•He finds you absolutely gorgeous, and he’s sure to let you know!

Celestia Ludenberg

•While Celestia definitely aligns more to the gothic fashion, she knows quite a lot about the gyaru style

•You stuck out to her— she always noticed your brightly done makeup and your unique fashion choice, as well as the color you chose to have your hair

•All of it... appealed to her— you were an intriguing person to her

•That’s what led her to approach you, and slowly begin conversations with you

•If you two ever went out on a date, it was primarily to the mall or a shopping area!

•Not to say you two never went anywhere else— however— you both enjoyed fashion, what better date to have than to help each other pick out clothing?

•Celestia would be honest with you in the dressing rooms, though

•If something didn’t flatter you entirely, she’d be sure to let you know

•...However, you’ve come to find that most of the time, she’ll say, “That looks good on you, but I like the previous one better.”

⋆ j - jealousy. - do they get jealous easily? how do they deal with it?

rantaro is far from the jealous type, possibly to an irritating degree. the thing is, he trusts you; simple as that. it's not easy for rantaro to put his trust in people– especially so much so that he ends up in a relationship with them– so he trusts you enough not to do anything that would violate the boundaries of your relationship.

on the off times rantaro does get jealous, usually when you're very obviously doing things that would upset him, he'd get real quiet. no loud, explosive reaction. no pulling you aside to talk to you, no, rantaro lets you know how much it bothers him by how quiet he is.

short conversation means it's basically water under the bridge, but rantaro's very good at giving you the cold shoulder. not speaking to you, not speaking about you, he wouldn't even acknowledge your existence. you'd be a figment of someone else's imagination for all rantaro cared, and he wouldn't stop until you apologized sincerely. only then would he actually have a conversation with you about how he was feeling.

⋆ l - love confession. - how would they confess to their s/o?

in a very lowkey way. rantaro isn't one for grand gestures or boisterous events, he's naturally more of a chill guy. it'd take him a good while to come to terms with his feelings for you, just because he's not used to intimate relationships, but once he does you can bet he'll be the furthest thing from subtle.

since it took him a bit, rantaro won't want to spring his feelings into you too suddenly. he'll let you ease into a more close bond by giving signals, sometimes straightforward and sometimes mixed. he'll compliment you more in a more fond tone of voice, be more physically affectionate with you, and help you with things you'd need him for. anything within your boundaries is fair game to rantaro.

after a while, rantaro would confess. it'd go a bit easier and more lightheartedly if you caught on, but if you managed not to understand his flirting then he'd definitely be less smooth. a lot more boyishly shy about it, looking down at his shoelaces and kicking imaginary rocks with his feet as he tells you how much you mean to him. he'd get you a little something to remember the moment, like a small card or a little knickknack he'd picked up during his travels.

⋆ w - wild card. - a random fluff headcanon.

rantaro is such a good hugger. like legitimately, one of the best huggers ever. not only because he's an older brother and is experienced in giving all sorts of hugs but just because he's a warm person by nature, both literally and metaphorically; rantaro rarely ever feels cold to the touch.

if you like hugs, then you'd be very happy with rantaro as a partner. when he's not in a bad mood, which isn't often, rantaro is all over you. leaning on you, draping over you, arms around you; anything you can think of in terms of cute, casual affection. his favorite thing to do is have his arms wrapped around you from behind. if you're taller, he'd lean his forehead on your back. if you're shorter, he'd rest his chin on your shoulder or the top of your head.

he's great at bear hugs, too. if you two reunite after not seeing each other for a long time, rantaro will gladly pull you into the tightest, warmest, most loving hug you'll ever receive. maybe even pick you up and spin you around if he has the energy

⋆ x - xoxo. are they very affectionate? do they love to kiss and cuddle?

definitely! rantaro's all into causal affection with anyone, but especially with you. once you agreed to be his significant other, you signed up to have your own personal koala constantly hanging off of your arm.

while he loves long hugs, rantaro is very short and sweet with kisses. unless you're making out with him, rantaro doesn't kiss you for more than a second. chaste kisses, small pecks on the cheek, peppering kisses all around your face to make you laugh, you name it. rantaro also likes kissing you along your jaw and down the sides of your neck.

cuddling is his favorite pastime. expect rantaro to randomly pull you down to lay with him, wrapping his arms around your waist and getting both of you in a comfortable position before you can protest. you two can just lay there, talk about your days, read a book, watch tv; anything at all. rantaro's just happy to be close to you.

I‘d like to request match up with a male character from Danganronpa (I‘m fine with all games but if you want a specific one choose V3).

I‘m an INFP and my style consists of comfy clothing (hoodies <3) and band t-shirts.

I‘m female, 5‘3 (161 cm), have long (to the waist) blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles, wear glasses and I am really pale.

I‘m interested in art, architecture, psychology and geography and I also like helping people. My hobbies are reading, drawing, playing video games, listening to music and playing the guitar and cello. I like tea (turkish apple tea tastes so good 10/10 my fav tea), cats, metal (fav band slipknot <3), indie pop, classical, rainy weather, discovering new things and going on walks. Music is my life like I could NOT live without it. :,) I also LOVE horror (games, movies, etc.), especially psychological horror.

I‘m often sarcastic, creative (sometimes? idk) and try to be nice to people. I have huuuuge mood swings and can turn from shy and reserved to very energetic. I like (okay love) being in leadership but I‘m also a huge people pleaser so I kinda don‘t set boundaries for myself. I daydream a lot, I‘m sentimental and open-minded. I also sometimes need a lot of alone time because I get overwhelmed by a lot of things. My toxic traits probably are that I am (like I said) a people pleaser and that I sometimes feel superior over everyone else and can get very arrogant without even wanting to. It occurs less but it still does and I try to work on it. :,)

I‘d like to have a partner who‘s preferably smart, not very loud and open to discover new things with me together. Also someone who shares similar interests and respects that I sometimes need some time to myself.

Rantaro Amami:

* Rantaro has a few band t-shirts, since his sisters got them for him and would happily give you a few that he can’t fit into anymore

* And he will always let you borrow his hoodies, which often ends up with you keeping some of them anyway

* Now due to him being the ultimate adventurer he has found some very unique art and architecture and is happy to indulge your passion and tell you all about them and sometimes show you pictures of them

* Due to his talent he has probably been to most places, so any questions you have about different places for geography purposes he can probably tell you about them

* Doesn’t know much about psychology though, but silently listens when you talk all about it he will talk about some of the sorts he does know though, but most of his knowledge about psychology is psychological tricks he saw advertised on websites

* Admires how kind you are to help people and will try his best to help you when he can, since it can’t be easy to help everyone out at once, so he is there to lend a helping hand

* Is happy to read a book with you and get into in-depth conversations with you about the plots

* Also comforts you if you get sad when one of the book characters die

* Will go digging around his room to find you new books to read

* He also checks out the libraries on his adventures to find new books to give you, that he finds from them in different countries

* Any pictures you give him he will hang them on the wall in his work space and asks you to help him practice his drawing

* Surprisingly though he is actually a decent drawer from the days he used to draw stuff for school projects to help out his sisters

* He will gladly draw pictures for you as well

* However, no drawing he does will compare to yours, since you have the actual talent for this stuff

* He doesn’t play many video games, so is mediocre at best when you play them together, but he still never refuses an invite to play them with you

* Even though Rantaro is quite a chill person he still gets slightly competitive during a game of Mario kart with you the only game he is really good at playing

* However, he still congratulates you if you end up winning, regardless

* Also gives you updates on new games, especially your favourite horror ones coming out and he picks ones up as well when he goes exploring if they haven’t been released in your country yet

* He doesn’t really have a favourite type of music, so will listen to anything you recommend

* Also let’s you use his Spotify and when you are together you are allowed to just take his phone, go on his Spotify and put on music you like that you both can listen to when sharing headphones

* Has a whole playlist dedicated to metal, classical and indie pop because of you

* And tries his best to get tickets to watch slip knot in person, since he loves it when you are happy

* Thinks your talent of playing the guitar and cello is very cool because he understands the effort that needs to be put in to learn how to play an instrument well

* Any piece you play he will compliment you on how good it sounded and jokingly says how he wants your autograph before other people want it

* He likes to drink tea as well when he is feeling stressed, since it helps to calm him down

* He has also tried a range of different teas on his travels and makes them for you to try, will still always make you your favourite Turkish tea for you though, especially if you are feeling down in the dumps or something

* He us a lot of stray cats that come around his house, so he will gladly take you to meet them, due to your love for cats

* He does dream sometimes about the two of you owning a cat together one day

* As he has gone on loads of adventures he’s the king of having new things to show you, so takes you to random places he’s been to whenever he gets the chance too

* Will gladly go on walks with you as he thinks it is a good bonding experience

* Will definitely always ask you to go on walks when the weather is rainy and will always have an umbrella to put you under or will share his coat with you if you get too cold or wet

* Rents horror movies that the two of you can watch together and let’s you know that you can cuddle up to him if you get scared, but that rarely happens. But he still puts his arm around you regardless anyway

* Rantaro doesn’t really react if he gets scared either he just slightly flinches at jump scares or gets a slight sweat on his forehead and that’s about it

* He will happily reciprocate the sarcasm you give back, growing up with sisters has made him really good at dealing with sarcasm

* If your creative he definitely helps you to nurture it

* He is glad that you are nice to people as he wouldn’t want to be with anyone too mean as he is not like that himself

* Can handle your mood swings like a professional if your in your energetic moods he makes sure to provide things for the two of you to do together or lets you drag him to places

* If you are in one of your shy moods he will deal with people for you if your too shy to say things to them

* Will definitely let you lead him as he is more of a go with the flow kind of guy, so doesn’t mind when you take the lead

* But will intervene if your giving too much to people than you can handle, due to your people pleasing nature and he will set the boundaries you want for you

* If your daydreaming Rantaro doesn’t, even bother to snap you out of your trance and just guides you to wear you need to be and do things throughout the day for you, until you snap back to reality yourself

* He is happy that you are sentimental it warms his heart when you save things he gives to you and appreciates how open-minded you are, since he wouldn’t be able to reciprocate someone who is too judgemental of people

* If you get overwhelmed by things Rantaro will do his best to make them things disappear and be there to comfort you

* But if you need some alone time he will understand and gives you the space you need, trying to stop other people from interrupting your alone time as well

* He will try his best to break you out of your people pleasing habit to stop it from damaging you mentally and physically

* He doesn’t mind if you are arrogant sometimes and always tries his best to wheel you back into reality if you get to arrogant and it’s hurting other people’s feelings

* And he will definitely work on it with you, so you have some help and not alone while working on it

* Rantaro is definitely a smart person as he grew up around his sisters who are unique individuals, so he knows a lot about different topics, due to each of them showing and telling him about their interests

* He is also not very loud as well, due to him being very laid back and not raising his voice very often, even when he is angry, which is very rarely

* He is also open to discover new things with you as that is the whole premise of his talent anyway and he does have similar interests with you, such as geography and his happy to learn more about the topics you are interested in as well

* And he respects that you sometimes need time alone, to yourself

* Overall, Rantaro fits all of the qualities you could want in a man and that makes your relationship together amazing and it forges an unbreakable bond between the two of you.
