have you ever thought about making manga colourings tutorials bC DAMN ARE THEY FINE AF
Oh anon you flatter me!!! I haven’t though of it but I’ll make one just for you :’))))
Under the cut you’ll find the steps I took to colour this cap of Shinobu!!
I’ll just skip the cleaning part and go straight into what’s next after base colours bc the cleaning process varies depending on the cap you’re colouring and the style you’re going for :D
So after cleaning the cap, just put in the base colours
Then we’ll move on to shading! I started with hair shading first
For black hair, I like to draw in random batches of hair first. I don’t follow any rules, I just draw them in where I think they fit (honestly idk how to explain this...)
After drawing in the shapes, I add in highlights and shading, blend, and then add more colours and embellishments as required. In Shinobu’s case, because she has purple tips, I added in the purples and also added some purple highlights in her hair.
For skin shading, I use 3-4 colours, then blend them to make them softer. Some edges I don’t blend that much, eg. the nose bridge.
Thennnn I just add in the skin highlights, blush, and it’s done!! The shading process for the clothes is pretty much the same as the one for the hair. I don’t edit/adjust colours for my colourings :D

how do you make the fake instagram photos? (just like in this: /post/154375583657) have a nice day ~
Hi anon! It’s actually pretty simple :’D
I took the top and bottom border thingies from this website here, and cropped them and edited them so that they became black. As for the layout itself, I referenced the screenshots from this post as well as my own instagram screenshots.
If you’d like, I provided a template that you can download here!

hey hi i dont wanna bother you but i have a question. when you colour your screencaps, like the todoroki one, usually the red side of his hair is like black bc its meant to be darker, so my question is, how do you get rid of that black spot to colour it properly? :D
Hey anon!! No worries, this isn’t a bother at all.
For his hair I usually just redraw that entire section, with reference to the other half of his hair :’) It usually doesn’t take very long, I’ve recorded a video to show you how I do it:
It’s sped up but the whole thing only took about 6mins!

hi! uh for your todoroki colourings, how did you make half of his hair red since in the manga, it's black???
Hello anon! It’s basically just clipping a layer above the manga cap and then colouring in the black with red!
Another way to colour it in if you use Photoshop would be by following this tutorial by @genoza! :D
