god hates klaus bc he keeps dying and showing up in the afterlife with the snarkiest attitude and god, a little teen girl with yellow flowers and a bicycle, has to keep directing him to his after life epiphanies each time. i cannot believe this isn’t some wild hc but actual canon

Lots of posts hating on loreen as if she's a bad person herself (please stop, hate the jury) but instead i'd like to ask
Why did so many countries vote for israel????
When the whole contest was about the war in ukraine? Is that the only war that matters and palestinians are conveniently ignored?

ok so colorado is reintroducing wolves since they were killed off by farmers and the state in the 19th and 20th centuries right
we just passed the measure recently but it's going through
turns out the parks/wildlife and transportation departments collaborated to make a license plate you can get to show your support (both literally and with a yearly fee that goes to the reintroduction effort)
and it is SO cheesy I love it
BORN TO BE WILD 🤘🤘 AWOOOOO

You have tried for so long to be what everyone wants you to be, what you thought you ought to be. Why not be who you are instead?

I often think about the Hatchling’s perspective throughout the story of Outer Wilds. They, being the single person aware of the death of the universe, the single person aware of the legacy of the Sun Station, the single person aware of the Strangers’ presence. They know so, so much. Imagine being the only soul who knows that all intelligent life is staring down the barrel of a gun. And, to make it even worse, near everybody they speak to is removed from the time loop. Other folk aren’t aware- they can’t be. They’re not in the loop, and there is only so much you can convince a person of in 22 minutes, let alone trying to do it every single time you need to talk to somebody else. Despite having comrades on Timber Hearth and dotted around the solar system, they are utterly alone.
There’s a wonderful comic by Elwensa (on Reddit and Twitter, I believe) depicting one time Hatchling woke up, panicking and crying over the sheer weight of their experience. Slate tries to comfort, but Hatchling pushes them away and immediately goes to launch their ship. Even if Slate is willing, how could they know about it all, let alone truly relate? What’s the point in trying to take comfort in another?
It must have forced them into having an old soul, and fast. Even thinking about the scenario, not even being in their boots, makes me feel lonely. Powerful, impactful, unique, but lonely. I’ve often daydreamed about a scenario similar- I could be the wise, old mentor, acknowledging the fantastic with a muted smile. I could be honorably burdened with terrible knowledge. I could shepherd folks to see incredible things.
I wonder, if I had the chance, would I truly trade places with them?
