summary - when Mick finally convinces reader to bring their one year old baby girl to her first race

a/n - okay let’s pretend George or Lewis got food poisoning or something for this, also the baby’s name will be Michella

★ ☆ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Mick could only give Y/n a quick peck on the lips and Michella a kiss on the cheek before he had to leave to get ready for the race.

Now, the baby and Y/n are standing in the Mercedes paddock, watching the race. Michella is being bounced on her mother’s hip, a drowsy look on her face as she sucks on her pacifier.

Y/n’s attention is spilt into two. Watching her daughter and watching the race.

Y/n strokes Michella’s blonde head of hair, holding her closer. The baby giggles as her mother smothers her tiny face with kisses. Y/n presses one more kiss on her daughter’s cheek as she gently caresses her baby’s soft belly, making Michella even more sleepy.

“Baby it’s only half way through the race, you’re going to see Daddy later.” Y/n bounces Michella making the baby giggle at the mention of her father.

Michella makes an effort to stay awake, occasionally giggling at something a team member or her mother said. She shrieks and screams as she sees the two Mercedes cars pass by.

At the end of the race, the Mercedes crew is content and happy, cheering and checking on their drivers.

Mick has an excited grin on his face as the team members congratulate him. Y/n and Mick catch each other’s eyes and smile at each other.

Michella starts squealing and shrieking when she sees her dad. She waves and tries to blow little kisses like her mother. Y/n and Mick laugh as Michella keeps trying to blowing little kisses.

It was pretty clear that Mick had gotten a new cheerleader.

Why in modern settings is Crowley always the Sexy Lingerie one and Aziraphale the Plain Boring Underwear one. The leading factor in Crowley's design is that she's Modern, sometimes "alternative" (yknow, corp goth) but always Modern. Aziraphale, on the other hand, is always old-fashioned, with the book making note of her tastes falling towards the 1950s. A lot of Sexy Lingerie (or at least what I think is sexy) is a lot of stockings and garters and girdles and corsets, all evocative of the mid-century in some way, while most modern underwear is very utilitarian, even high-end stuff.
