Feeling some kind of way about this exchange between Rath and Kagha post if you expose Kagha working under the Shadow Druids and convince her out of it.

Rath: I do not hate you. I am ashamed at how far I let your machinations spread.

Rath: I was blind not to see it. Too trusting. A fool.

God, my No Mercy analysis video is going to be like. 30 minutes or longer. Talkin' about the route's purpose as a deconstruction of JRPG tropes and completionism and the way it uses gameplay and writing to convey its themes as well as the ways people misinterpret the route as a personal attack when it's really more an exploration of, "hey, but what if all this stuff we treat as game mechanics was actually addressed in-universe?" That and the way that the Sans fight being so overhyped weakens what it's meant to represent as part of a larger narrative (that is Undertale as a whole) and just... yeah. I had more to say than I expected.

I've been having one of those silly shower thoughts I can't get out of my head lately, so I figured I'd ask all you lovely people...

a more personal post than usual, but tonight i am just sad. ive noticed that when i am sad, i have a tendency to eat my feelings. whether i bake a cake, or eat half a tub of ice cream in a single sitting, or make a bowl of soup, i tend to cope by going to comfort food.

i think that's a part of why i like the thought of being able to fill the "pred" role. comfort food that is also a friend. but unfortunately it isn't possible, so i will continue to eat my soup alone in the dark in the middle of the night.

ok not sleeping for 3 hours has halved my anxiety :) obviously this is not actually solving the problem bc waking up and having a miserable time for 3 hours before falling back asleep is not a reliably replicable set of circumstances, but today feels so much nicer with slight exhaustion
