Memories In The Stars - Revived- He Fell From The Heavens, Just Like Me
Ch. 1 [CURRENT]
Ch. 2
This is dedicated to @snapdragonfirefly @petrichormeraki and @bargledblocks
Grian would never forget the day Tommy first came to the server, into his life. To be fair, no one would forget such an event. Everyone was going about their days, nothing unusual happening. That was, until, the sky opened up. Everyone had gathered, looking up as the circular hole grew larger and larger. The black, beautiful abyss that resembled the End was visible, a quick wind surrounding it. Everyone was confused, everyone but Grian. The man in question was way too familiar with the endless hole, for it was the same one that took him away from his home. Panic filled him, fearing that it would take him away from another home. Instead, a person fell from it. The moment the body left the circle, it closed in an instant, leaving the server flabbergasted. It was only when the person got closer to the ground that they sprung into action. Grian extended his wings as the others pulled out their elytras, everyone rushing to catch the person. It was Mumbo who caught him, landing before everyone.
“What happened to him?”
The Hermits couldn’t help but show their distaste at the sight before them. What was obviously a teenage boy was filthy. With torn closed and dirty hair, he laid in pained silence. It was no question if they were going to help him, the question was when he would wake up. When he did awaken, hell broke loose. That is, for the poor boy. Panic filled him as he thrashed about, screaming and trying to hit whoever got too close. He acted completely feral, like a cornered animal with nowhere else to go. It was only when Jrumbot and Grumbot wandered into the room, little beeps of curiosity sounding off, that the boy calmed down. Blinking away the distressed tears from his eyes, he took a few breaths as he stared at the robot boys. Wiping away his tears with his torn sleeves, he gave a small smile.
“H-Hey, did I scare you guys? I’m sorry.”
His voice was horridly strained, a raspy sound with every word. It startled everyone, making them step back. The robot boys beeped to one another, before speeding off. No one said a word, unsure of how the boy would react. The fear in his eyes was momentarily overshadowed with a sense of kindness, which only returned when the robot children returned. Grumbot carried a mug over to the boy, Jrumbot following. The two ignored the worried mumbles from Mumbo, and the concerned look from Grian. Instead, they held out the mug to teen, a gentle, robotic-human mix voice coming from the smaller boy.
“Tea, for your throat.”
Nodding, the boy accepted the mug, thanking the boys. Satisfied, the robot boys stared, waiting for the teen to take a sip. He was hesitant, but he did drink. Lowering the mug, he gave the two a smile.
“It’s lovely, thank you.”
The two cheered to one another. Staying by the bed, the bot-brothers kept the mysterious boy company.
-
It’s been two months since Tommy fell from the sky. He kept to himself, only comfortable around the robot boys. Grumbot told his fathers that it was because he was an uncle, and the boys reminded him of them. No one knew where the boy ran off to, where he decided to set up his house after he left the shelters of the rest of the server. Today, however, was the first time Grian was going to see the kid. The boys had told him that Tommy needed a map of where everything was, so that he could gather some things. Just as he began to make a map key, he heard a knock at the door. Walking over, he opened it with a smile. There, hands awkwardly shoved in his pockets, was Tommy. He definitely looked cleaner, and his torn clothes were patched up. Nodding to Grian, the boy gave a small wave.
“Tommy! Come in! I was just making a more detailed map for you.”
The boy nodded, walking in. He looked around, curious, as he followed Grian to the table. Peering down, he studied the map as Grian made a few markings, blowing on the ink as he did so. Grabbing a different ink color, Grian spoke up as he added new markings.
“Is your head okay?”
“Why wouldn’t it be?”
“Well, I know that the weird void hole can have some minor side effects-Jesus!”
Grian yelped, nearly dropping his quill. Tommy had shot over to his side, getting way too close to the older man. Narrowing his eyes, the teen appeared confused and hopeful.
“What do you mean by that?”
“I never told you? I was sucked in and spat out by the same hole when I was a child.”
“What?”
Grian frowned as he peered over to Tommy. Nodding over to the map, he held it up as he held it out to the teen.
“How about I show you the shortcuts? I can tell you everything.”
And for the first time since his arrival, Tommy trusted someone new.

Alpha-17 and Obi-Wan being friends (derogatory) on 17's part and friends (threatening) on Obi-Wan's part is such an underrated dynamic
They could be so funny and terrifying, like Obi-Wan went through a soul shredding experience with Alpha-17 as his only company. They're friends because what else are you gonna be after you witness each other at absolute rock bottom from torture.
It's like 'dog put in cage of cheetah who's threatening to go crazy', except the dog is a grizzly bear and also threatening to go crazy.
Emotional support trooper except the trooper in question has never done any sort of supporting in his life and is actively an emotional distress trooper to a great number of the CC batch.
I want them texting everyday, I want Obi-Wan mailing handmade BFF bracelets to Alpha and Alpha sending pics back of him flipping off the camera but still wearing them, I want Alpha using Obi-Wan to keep track of and occasionally terrorize his cadets, I want 17 ending problems in the GAR (like Krell) before they begin because Obi-Wan has him shipped out on a personal transport at the first opportunity, decked out with slug-throwers Obi-Wan got him for his decant-day.
Natborn officers think this is all just an odd indulgence of General Kenobi, the Vode, however, correctly identify it as a goddamn threat and their danger assessment of Obi-Wan ticks up significantly.
When Alpha arrives on Kamino, Shaak Ti presses a shiny new comm into his hand. It has the Jedi Order symbol painted onto it alongside a smiley face sticker, and it pings immediately with a new message: Hello! I hope you're settling in well!
Alpha stares at the message, stares at the singular contact named 'OWK' and then stares Shaak Ti in the eye as he pitches the comm straight into the ocean. Shaak Ti's serene smile only grows larger as she calmly reaches into her robes and pulls out an identical comm, only this one has a frowny face sticker, and presses it into his hand. It lights up: I'm afraid we've bonded, Alpha :). Alpha shuts it off and pockets it with resignation.
Cody arrives on Alpha-17's personal recommendation.
A-17: He's the most difficult little bastard I have. You're perfect for each other. OWK: Thank you, he's very handsome :3 A-17: No. Stop.
The first thing he asks once he gets comfortable is who his general is texting so much that has him swinging his legs and twirling his hair. Cody assumes it's Anakin, given they seem joint at the hip anyway, but little does he know Obi-Wan's ability to consistently have the Weirdest Relationships Ever.
"Oh, it's Alpha-17, I understand you're familiar with each other?" Hmm. OK. Cody.exe is experiencing a processing error, please hold. He exits the room instead of answering. The next day he peeks over the General's shoulder when he's texting and sees walls of rambling messages from Obi-Wan. Alpha-17 replies every hour with a single text: Lose this number. Obi-Wan giggles. "He's so funny." he says.
When Obi-Wan meets the rest of the CC batch, Cody makes sure to stand perfectly angled so that he can record the reactions when his general cuts off their introductions with "Oh, no need, Alpha-17's told me all about you." It's always immediate FEAR.JPG followed by a slow spiral of What The Fuck.
What do you mean by that General. What does that mean Cody. What do you mean they text. No. Cody. What the fuck is happening, Cody. Alpha-17 doesn't have friends he has enemies and enemies he tolerates enough not to shoot on sight.
OWK: Wolffe reached for his vambrace? when I mentioned you A-17: That's where he keeps his spare knife. OWK: Hm that does explain the way he eyed me up, ambitious. A-17: Clearly not enough, he should have followed through. I taught them better.

Memories In The Stars - Revived - Birds Of A Feather
Ch. 1
Ch. 2 [CURRENT]
Ch. 3
Tommy was hesitant to grab the elytra from Grian. Wanting to keep the boy comfortable and sane, he was ready to retract the offer, only to be startled by Tommy’s quick movement. Tommy snatched the elytra, slipping it on. Pressing his lips together, a glassy look covered his face as he nodded. Grasping the map, he nodded over to Grian.
“Well? Let’s get going.”
Grian led the way, his wings ready to take flight. Turning to the teen, he gave a small smile.
“Need some tips on how to-“
Tommy didn’t waste any time staying on the ground. Grian was baffled by how quick Tommy was to take to the air. Letting out a little laugh, Grian took off, catching up to the teen.
“You seem knowledgeable. Did you have an elytra back home?”
Tommy went rigid at the word “home”, momentarily throwing him off. Shaking his head as he began to glide to the ground, he came to a walking stop as he frowned.
“No, the End’s entrances were destroyed. Besides, no one in that server knows what the End is.”
“No End? That’s weird given that you seem to fly well.”
“This isn’t flying.”
Grian was taken aback at Tommy’s bluntness. The boy in question stared at Grian, a longing look on his face. It was only when Tommy played with the Elytra binding that Grian realized that he wasn’t looking at him, but at his wings. Eyes widening with realization, Grian turned back to Tommy, who appeared misty eyed. Trying to think of a way to comfort the kid, Grian couldn’t help but notice something no one saw beforehand: Tommy’s eyes were multiple shades of blue, all at once. If you looked close enough, it was almost like the colors were moving. It was only when Tommy sniffled, and rubbed his face that Grian snapped out of it. Shaking his head, Grian felt his own wings twitch as he nodded to Tommy.
“What color were they?”
Tommy looked up, confused. Grian just smiled, motioning to his own wings.
“I’m talking about your wings, kid. What color were they?”
“I’m not a kid.”
Grian snorted at the blunt statement, Tommy’s sad eyes replaced with feigned annoyance.  He ran a hand through his hair, which was getting longer and disheveled.
“I had white wings, with a red tint.”
“Almost like your shirt!”
“Bwahahaha!”
Tommy erupted into a fit of laughter, finding amusement in Grian’s little excited look as he pointed to the boy’s shirt. Grian’s excitement grew into genuine joy, laughing happily that Tommy was laughing. The two took a moment to calm down. Humming, Grian dug out some fireworks from his inventory. Tommy’s laughter came to an abrupt stop as Grian held the fireworks out to him.
“Tommy? What’s wrong?”
Tommy stuttered out nonsense, not making any sense.
“Tommy, it’s just fireworks. What is it?”
Putting away the fireworks, Grian went to grab Tommy, only to stop himself. Shaking his head, he tried to help the kid calm down. After a moment, Tommy just nodded.
“Yeah, sorry about that, Big Man. It’s just that I don’t think I recovered from my last interaction with fireworks. I just keep remembering the noise.”
“Hey, it’s fine. You don’t have to apologize, Tommy. Hey, tell you what, let’s explore the map another day, okay? Before then, I’ll make some silent fireworks.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, anything to help you feel more comfortable.”
With that, Grian and Tommy retreated back into the avian’s house.

Parent's Day
Ghosts didn't have a father's or mother's day as such, but they did have a day where they combined both. A day to celebrate your guardians. Humans, Yetis, Amazons or Gods, it was a quiet day to thank them for your ghost adoption.
Dan and Ellie had spent a few years under the halfa's care but at the end of the day they considered him their guardian (although Dan did it reluctantly), so when they heard about Parent's Day they panicked.
They wanted to show Danny that they really appreciated him but a mug or coupons were not enough. In the end after some brainstorming they decided to give him the closest thing to a mug that was in the Realms: Constantine's complete soul.
John Contantine was a very annoying human, they knew this because they heard Danny complain about his paperwork many times. Apparently their father had 99% of his soul but couldn't do anything until he had 100%, and what better gift than to help him get rid of the paperwork? He hated paperwork! It was perfect!
With some help from Clockwork they traveled to DC's dimension, determined to take the last of the hellblazer's soul. Dan wondered if he should steal a star from the dimension while they were there (Danny liked space didn't he?), as an extra gift.
John Constantine was in the middle of explaining the holes in reality to the Justice League when a shiver ran through his body. He had an instant bad feeling.
