OC HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE › day five: sci-fi horror
AU in which Esme is captured by Theo for the Dread Doctors, Stiles and the pack manage to save her but despite the fact she remembers nothing, they were too late to stop the experiments. After running into Theo, Esme discovers why she’s been starving and no meal has been able to sate her. Esme has been made into a bat-lion chimera, hence the new aversion to light and the craving for raw meat.

Hope Thompson knew the moment she saved Maeve Bartley’s life, she took something from her that would impact the girl’s life forever. Having to tiptoe around a situation when you’re surrounded by an Alpha pack wasn’t as easy as it seemed. Not when Maeve had to witness a stranger protecting her from the evil hiding in the darkest places of Beacon Hills.
The town she knew of, the town she was born and raised, suddenly felt like a big cover up for what really was going on. She didn’t like that, she wasn’t comfortable knowing there were monsters lurking in the shadows since the day she was born.
Maeve did try forgetting what happened as long as she could. Hoping the Beacon Hills that she knew wasn’t just all a lie. She really tried staying in denial as long as she could. But then the end of freshman year was approaching and more evil targeting people she knew of. And to top it all, she has to find out her best friend was bitten by an Alpha. A monster that took all her knowledge about the world, away from her.
Now she has no choice but to try and find her foot in a world that she didn’t belong to.

The Six: Este Reeves
Born January 11th, 1987, the Reeves sextuplets were the first in America to survive infancy. They garnered fame and fortune simply by existing, but the allure wore off by the time they were teenagers. They all moved on, enjoying their separate paths far away from each other (being forced into the same outfits for the first eighteen years of your life has a way of grating on you). Then, in 2012, the world turns upside down, and they’ll never be the same.
Typical headstrong, eldest child Este led the pack from an early age, consistently at the front of the line and ready to protect her sisters. It wasn't a surprise when she went pre-law, then on to law school, graduating at the top of her class and immediately moving to New York to join the city's top law firm. She's powerful, and she knows it.

this was requested by @megdonnellys. below the cut i will be showing you how to this to your gifs:
difficulty level: easy, beginner
okay, so this is actually super easy to do! it’s just adding a gif overlay to your gif! there are a bunch of gif overlay packs floating around, but the ones i usually use come from this pack on deviantart.
so first what you’re going to want to do is open your gif, colour it and size it to whatever set-up you’re posting. For smaller gifs I usually use 268x145 and for larger gifs I use 540x250!
now you’ll want to select all the layers of your gif and using the folder icon, group them together. next click on the layer mask icon (the rectangle with a circle in the middle) - this makes it easier to work with if we need to do any erasing in the future. your layers should now look like this:
next open up the gif overlay you want to use, here are some i like/would be good to use for this kind of edit:

next you’ll want to import the frames of this gif into the one you’re using for your edit - to do this, do the same as above by selecting, grouping and asking all the layers together. then, select all of your frames
copy them and paste them over the frames of your working gif:
next use the free transform tool to resize the overlay gif to the desired size, it should look something like this:
by dragging the gif around the screen (using the free transform tool) photoshop will help you centre it to the canvas. next you’ll want to change the blend/layer style of the overlay gif.
some of the layer styles that work the best are: screen and linear dodge (add)

depending on the darkness of the overlay you may have to lower the opacity!
this is pretty much it, now you can add any text you’d like and voila!

Myria Mikaelson was married to Niklaus Mikaelson as a way to further ensure peace between the Vikings and the wolf packs, she expect a brutish husband that wouldn’t care about her but was met with a caring man who, with time, came adore her and she ended up falling in love with him. She certainly never expected to become a vampire or to be cursed by her mother-in-law along with her husband. But that was all in the past and with no prospect of breaking their curse anytime soon, Niklaus, Myria and Rebekah were currently stationed in Chicago, once again hiding from Mikael, when Stefan Salvatore and a simple suggestion from Klaus changed them forever.

Poe (Fionn Whitehead) was a feral child that was raised by a pack of wolves from when he was three to twelve. He was found by Mr & Mrs. Voorhees while they were hiking a dangerous path within the woods of Salem, Yeltneb, calling the police. Poe stayed in an institution where he was taught how to communicate, behave, and interact with humans. After two years of getting used to civilization, Mr & Mrs. Voorhees ended up adopting him. With news traveling around, sources referred to Poe as "One With The Wolves", gaining widespread popularity. At age sixteen, more and more people gave Poe the title of being the Howler Boy; a play on words since his family for a long time was wolves.
Raven (Kaya Scodelario) is in her junior year of college and is given the choice to create an essay on whatever she wants, she chooses to write her report on Poe Voorhees; the kid in her town whom everyone avoids and sees roaming the streets at night and entering the woods since she believes no one ever gives him a chance to explain himself. From this, Raven receives an abnormal obsession with learning about every single detail about the boy to make sure her report is perfect--even if it means pushing limits.

Once upon a time, the three Winchester siblings had been inseparable. Deborah, the oldest, was three when Dean was born, six when Sam was born, and seven when their mom burned to death in her childhood home. When she was eight, her dad put a gun in her hand and told her about the monsters under the bed. By the time she was nine, she could hold her own against the best hunters she knew.
And that was her life for fifteen years; endless training with her dad, taking care of her brothers while her dad went on hunts, leaving her brothers while she went on hunts with her dad; going on hunts with her brothers; leaving her brothers while she went on solo hunts, and, eventually, leaving her brothers.
When Deborah was twenty four, she grabbed her duffle - always packed for the next hunt - and left. The only sign that there had ever been a third Winchester was the paper - two identical pieces of paper with a phone number and an LA address that she left under her brothers’ pillows. And she never heard from them again.
When Dean turned twenty one, which they always promised to celebrate together, nothing. When Sam started at Stanford, only a short drive away, nothing. When she was twenty nine and gave birth to her wonderful daughter, Ruth Mary Winchester, nothing.
And then she turns thirty, John goes missing, Sam’s girlfriend dies just like their mom, and suddenly, after six years of nothing, her baby brothers show up on her doorstep.

When the snow falls and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives
Ned Stark knew all too well that things didn’t end well for Starks who rode south. But when Robert Baratheon demands that he serve as hand of the king, he has no choice but to comply. He would have left all of his children back in Winterfell, had Robert not also proposed a betrothal between Sansa and Joffrey. Unwilling to bring Sansa to the capitol alone, Ned brought his other two daughters along with them. Ned Stark soon realizes just how dangerous the Lion’s Den truly is for the wolves, and does what he can to protect his daughters.
For Sansa, he hopes that she will be protected by her betrothal to the prince. For Arya, she will be protected by Syrio until she learns to protect herself. And for Minysa? A betrothal of her own. The Knight Of Flowers would not usually be his first choice of husband for his eldest daughter, but he is already in King’s Landing and therefore the wedding can proceed immediately. Besides, Loras Tyrell is a good man, and as his bride, Minysa will be protected by all of Highgarden. But in the game of thrones, you win or you die, and outmaneuvering the masters in King’s Landing is not so simple.
